We were here 3 nights last week.$143.72 $47.90 with the veteran's discount.Its just ok, three toilets, two showers. Very clean bathhouse. We stayed in campsite 47 literally had one neighbor two campsites away. I liked that we were in the woods and no one else was in the area. But no frills dirty algae pool. Firewood $10. a bundle or 3 bundles for $30. A-lot of Bees will sting the shit out of you and uneven parking for your camper. The picnic table had nails sticking out and one got me under my fingernail. Bring a lot of leveling blocks. Roads are in disrepair you probably won't go over the speed limit of 5mph that how bad they are. Other than that I would stay again off season! read more

If you are looking for a family friendly campground, you would be better served taking your business elsewhere. Tall Pines employees and campers alike are allowed to speed through the park, nearly running people over in the process, but will complain about your children in a heartbeat for playing outside at all. Despite the posted 5mph signs throughout the park, as well as signs we ourselves have provided, they do nothing to ensure safety; no one is at the park to run the office, or provide essential or necessary maintenance. They only come to the park when there is a complaint about children, or the cops have been called. Laura, who lives and works on the grounds, drives through the campground in her black Nissan Titan like she is a Nascar driver, and has almost hit kids and adults doing so. No one tells her to slow down, just to keep the kids out of the way or leave the park if you can't keep the kids under control. As far as pricing goes, Christina will offer a fair price to start, then recant on her decision despite proof of receipt, or how far in advance you pay on said quoted price. While the campground itself is a beautiful place to be, the owners are very lazy. They put more effort into their (Best Western) hotel, where you're more likely to find the staff working and avoiding campground calls, than you are to get anyone's attention inside the office, or to actually run the park. We were treated very poorly by the staff during our short stay here, despite our best efforts to try to work with them to make this a safe place for all. They were unwilling to take any sort of accountability, or give any corrective action to those who were more willing to remain uncooperative. Do not plan on making this a full time home for you and your family. It will only come down to Christina being at your residence for unjustified complaints that they can't prove one way or the other who is at fault. I would leave 0 stars if I could. I tried to get hold of the owner 3 times. I even left a message in the office to call while I was there at their request. I received one message back offering $100 after I was home. I requested half back. I did not want to write this review. So many things we're wrong with this place I deserve at a minimum half of our money back. No place does it mention the rickety flight of stairs, which came as a surprise to my 84 year old mom and my sister with bad hips. We managed. The place was somewhat clean. We survived. There wasn't even a dishtowel or sponge or ANYTHING in the kitchen but a few pots and pans and plates and silverware. Every single drawer was empty but one (at least 15 empty drawers) the one drawer was full of mouse droppings and chewed up fast food condiments. Not even a way to help keep the place clean. Nothing. When we arrived the toilet had piss and paper in it. Come to find out it didn't flush. Ok. Called for the manager and a man showed up with a plunger. Said he stayed in a nearby motel (still have no idea who he was). The toilet did not work after he left. Called again in the morning and the manager showed up. Worked on it for 3 minutes and said it was fine and left. Came back that afternoon and surprise! It didn't work. Called again and he fixed it this time by replacing parts. We weren't super upset about this up to this point. But imagine my surprise when the office people told me others had walked out the prior week because the sheets were dirty. So I checked out my sheets. Flipped over the pillows and there we had mascara, face makeup and drool and short black hairs. None of it mine . We were there 3 days and every single day had an issue. FINAL STRAW was while we were at a show in Branson they came into the apartment WHILE WE WERE GONE, to drop off a few coffee pods (since they had a Keurig). We already had to buy some. That's a bunch of crap. Then! They did it again while we were out to bring one sponge and some dish soap. They should never enter the place while our personal stuff was inside. Drop it at the door. I'm being ignored by this owner who lives in a different state then the Airbnb. Super disappointing and super gross. I did find out the housekeeper is the managers gf and not knowing who she was she asked how it was. I said besides the dirt and mouse and toilet problems she said "What?, No way! I cleaned out that drawer weeks ago". . So apparently they know about the mouse issue. One last thing. As I was searching for a broom I opened what I thought was a closet. It was a creepy flight of stairs down to another place below us. NO LOCK on our side. When I mentioned this to the manager he says. Well, theres a lock code for the other place. So? You and everyone else knows the code. Unbelievable. I hope to get the refund and I will remove this review. read more

Our favorite campground we've been to! Owner super nice and very laid back! Level large gravel spots. Full hook up, tons of shade. Quiet and clean. Each site has fire pit, picnic tables, owners remove trash everyday from bins outside sites. 7 minutes outside Branson, around the corner from SDC. Owner has little shop with a few items, firewood, and ice. There is a outdoor pool that looks nice but we've never tried it! Everyone should check this place out! read more
