She had a cancellation so was able to get me in within a few days. At my appointment, Amy greeted me right away and was very professional. She took my coat, offered me something to drink and got me comfortable. After assessing my hair, she gave me exactly what I asked for and did a great job. At the time, I was using Marc Anthony's line of curly hair products. I washed my hair the night before and used the product. I have never had anyone else mention a bad odor, including my husband who would certainly let me know. I nearly walked out in the middle of the haircut because she continued to go on and on about the smell. It was ridiculous and utterly unprofessional. On top of it, I walked out with one of the worst haircuts to date. There were no layers and I walked out of there as the shape of a triangle. It took me forever to grow my hair out. I wasted a ton of time waiting for an appointment with Amanda and then wasted a bit of money. I would never recommend this salon to anyone with curly hair, unless your thing are triangles and unprofessionalism, then Amanda would be your person.

Recently I needed a change, so I added some pink to my hair- she put it in as highlights and on the underneath so that when it starts to grow out- I won't have this pink line on the top of my head! and you can still see the pink as my hair has a layer in the back so you see pink intermixed with my light brown hair. she did not need to bleach the areas where she put the pink in- she know what she is doing! Since it was my first time with her (and needed a lot of help from my last cut which needed some serious fixing), Lacey took extra time to play with my hair, show me a couple of options to go about fixing the style without losing sight of my long term plan: keep my hair long. She then washed my hair, cut it while wet, dried it, and cut again. I've never had someone take as much care as she did, weighing options before cutting since you can only go shorter not longer! She also was informative, explaining the reasoning behind why she was cutting while wet, then again while dry, and any products she was using -- which by the way were acrobatically fabulous. Lacey was also a super conversationalist. Real, down to earth, and easy to talk to, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Left with an amazing smelling bottle of Moroccan oil, love for Lacey and her amazing skills, and an incredible haircut. With the next appointment already on the books, I'm looking forward to getting in again!
