Christina didn't listen to what I wanted…read moreat all, and when I told her I was uncomfortable in a certain pose (Sitting on a jagged rock on a steep hill, in a dress and heels, while holding my newborn), she threatened to quit and wouldn't continue shooting until I did the pose she wanted. She was terrible at giving directions (just turn, turn the other way, no the other way, move your hand, etc - entirely unclear) and would get mad at us when we didn't guess correctly what she meant. When we didn't pose the way she wanted, she would make sarcastic and snippy comments that made us all SO uncomfortable and made the whole shoot so awkward. And then she'd bark at you to smile! We did not get one single photo that we will ever use. I am so very sad and mad, not only that we wasted $500 but that we can't go back and get photos that we can actually use of my baby at this age again. We can never get that back. I would highly encourage you to think twice before hiring Christina if you have a baby - she absolutely does NOT know how to shoot babies. Or family groups. If you have any thoughts or opinions of your own whatsoever about what you want, she will not listen to you. When I told her what shots I wanted (which we had discussed over the phone and in email prior to the shoot) she yelled at me that she's the professional and basically I needed to shut up and do it her way because I don't know anything. I left the shoot in tears. It was truly awful. And surprise surprise, I've never seen less flattering photos of myself or my family in my entire life. There is literally not one single photo where you can see everyone's face and everyone has their eyes open! I truly believe she started taking bad photos intentionally after I didn't want to do one of her poses because even a non-professional photographer could capture at least one or two that were ok. Think twice before hiring her.

I consulted her and hired Jennifer to do newborn session of my daughter. I contacted Jenny after deliver and schedule the photo session date after 5 days. During consultation we went over the color pallet and any specific props I was looking for in the session. I was very nervous and skeptical on how it would turn out. They make up policies that…read moredon't exist so that they can weed out people who show up five minutes late for their appointment so they can get "back on schedule". Then they allow customers to do outfit changes without booking an additional appointment during peak season. (A policy I was told was in effect when I asked for my family to have an outfit change a couple of years ago.) Then they say they are going to fit us in when an appointment no showed. After waiting for 50 minutes and still not being called they lied and said that appointment showed up. We never left the studio and heard every appointment check in with their time so we know for a fact that appointment never showed! We were told to go home. Guess no pictures of my kiddo for grandma and grandpa this year.

Disappointing. Avoid. The last 3 times I've been here I thought "never again", but then some time…read moregoes by and I want photos of the kids and I end up coming back, only to regret it all over again. The photographers couldn't care less what sort of pictures they shoot. They don't care if your kids eyes are opened or closed, if they're looking off camera, messing with their shoe, if their shirt is twisted around their body or any other such thing. They won't bother to grab a stool or chair or prop from the corner so the kids are comfortable; they ask them to crawl around on the floor with their dressy clothes and expect "cross-cross applesauce" to look like a semi-formal pose. When they press the shutter, the photographer is one step closer to getting you out the door and that seems to be the only thing they care about. Photographers rushed through the session (they only schedule 15 minutes to begin with), and took no time to make kids comfortable at all. Want forced "cheese" smiles in awkward poses. When the kids did have natural smiles, the photographer didn't bother to take a picture, but made some comment like "you should have smiled when I was ready". Got about a dozen pictures in the end because some were with the kids with their eyes closed, and truly only two of those were decent. All the rest were awkward poses, chins down and glaring through eyelashes, no smiles, disdain from even the kids who could tell the photographer wasn't trying to get a decent picture but rush us out the door. Then they want to sell you $900 worth of digital photos- HA! Only 2 were even acceptable! The store doors were locked and we had to be escorted out because this store closes at 7pm! The store employee that unlocked the front doors for us asked how the photo session went and I shook my head; she said "didn't like it?" as if I'm certainly not the first. Horrible experience.

They volunteered their time and services to capture the importance of our walk. I asked if they did engagement photos and they said yes! As I'm getting married in Cincinnati, my fiance and I wanted to take engagement photos in Denver to reflect our love of Colorado and the west. Jeanette and Kathi came prepared with props and ideas for where and what to shoot for our session - great for me because I hadn't thought too much about that part! We spent 2.5 hours at Wash Park taking very fun photos. Jeanette and Kathi were so awesome to work with. Any suggestions or thought we had, they incorporated it into their photos. Our session was on Saturday morning and by Monday afternoon, they'd already posted 3 'sneak peek' photos and let us know that we should have our DVD within 2 weeks of the shoot. They have 2 options for photo packages - choosing a number of photos for them to retouch and print or choosing to have a DVD of all photos for us to use how we want. Both prices are very competitive. She has clear ideas and tells you what those are, and she will work with you to capture exactly what you're wanting to capture, if not more! We had a blast trying to get a great action shot of my puppy playing at the lake. She'll go to great lengths to get the right shot, even if that means I'm running and jumping over her while she's snapping away on her camera to get my dog running. He was really good with our little guy -- he connected well with him, was patient, and most importantly (for us) was able to capture our baby's joy on camera which is no easy feat when your subject is a squirmy, crawling baby (as most parents know!) And, as Anand came to our home to take the photos, we got tons of great shots at our favorite location!
