Tamiami Baptist Church touched so many of my family one Friday night for a change. I attended about five years ago, invited by a cousin for a study and it was an eye opener.
I have been searching for a new home and wanted to change from attending to a Roman Catholic Church to a Christian Church and Baptist had already been in my past. My first Church was Baptist Church of Contramaestre and I was hoping to get my family to same congregation. I had seen the difference and like Apostol Peter said, we have fought enough. And it doesn't matter if you get sprinkled with water, submerged or any other way; the sacraments instituted by Christ are provided here (Baptism and Lord's Supper).
In this house of God, they proclaim that be holy because the son of God is Holy for your and your brothers and sisters.
The Baptism here is not taken as a badge of graduation.
Tamiami like any other church provides different ministries, bible studies, Sunday sermons, community outreach, youth meetings and more in both English and Spanish.
The most important point to highlight here is that his house of God, provides cross centered word to the ears of sinners (all of us) and immerse us in the death of Christ and the resurrection of our Lord to feed us bread and blood (life) so that we are redeemed and our sins are forgiven.
