The first time I came here was several years ago for their lunch buffet, and everything we tried was excellent with a good range of flavors and spices, so we were looking forward to returning. I don't think they do a buffet any longer, but they did have a lunch menu for us where you could choose naan (butter or garlic), rice (basmati or saffron), and two mains (including several vegetarian). The veg korma and shahi paneer were both tasty, but we found our dishes lacked heat/spiciness which was disappointing. Service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the amount of food was good that I even took some to go as leftovers. Just wish the flavors had lived up to my memory. My very first time here. My friends love this place and come from out of town to come here. We were a party of 4. The smell as you walk in is delicious. We each just picked a dish and shared. There is more than enough food to share with friends. We ordered: - paneer pakora - butter chicken - prawn butter masala - saffron rice - aloo gobhi - chana masala - garlic naan Each dish was amazing. In fact the lovely waitress made a great recommendation as we were ordering. Originally we were ordering 2 butter chickens with varying heat levels when she recommend we choose a different dish the. We would have a selection of each of the types of dishes. So we did. Everything was amazing. Great food and service. There were several skip the dishes or Uber eats picking up orders. The food was excellent. Predominantly north Indian taste with a hint of South Indian flavor. Well made to satiate different taste expectations. It was a decent time of waiting for our order, and nothing seemed or tasted like it came out of a microwave. I had tandoori roti and my daughter shared her goat curry with me. Both went very well. My friend had garlic naan which was even better. Finished it off with a masala tea which by itself should get a five star. Apart from the comestible, the service was more than excellent. The waitress had clear knowledge of the food she's serving, and was evidently patient with the big crowd. If this trend continues even after few months, I will give them a five star then. read more

Decided to try this new place out, since I was craving Indian food (as always). I was psyched as Spruce Grove has been hurting for some diversity in the restaurant scene. I didn't see much on the gluten friendly and dairy free options, so I picked a vegetarian dish that I have always loved!- Yellow daal with coconut rice and pooda (GF bread). I have to say that everything I had was just delicious! The daal was perfect, the way the coconut rice was prepared was unique and awesome, and the pooda was yummy! Definitely a place I'd get takeout from again when I visit Spruce again. They are a little pricey though so that would be my only hesitation. Good Indian food but pricey. Came in for the buffet. Not very busy but still seemed to have trouble keeping food in the dishes. Everything was quite tasty, great selection of sauces in the salad bar area. Staff were quite friendly and attentive. Good option if you are in Spruce Grove but being from Stony I think I'll stick to the one there. read more

Awful customer service. Wrote my order down, called it in, drove into town, picked it up. When I realized that a portion of my order was wrong, I called in & was told the dish would take 20 mins to make. I was ok with this. Went to pick it up & brought back the incorrect dish. Came in with a friend for a late lunch and decided to try the buffet. Wow! A fantastic array of freshly prepared food to try. Try the Strawberry Rose Lassie as an indulgent drink or a homemade chai tea to warm up. Good drink/wine menu. The veggie korma and lamb curry were delicious. The waiter brought us a basket of fresh naan to accompany our meal and the service was lovely. The spices of the dishes were flavorful, but not too hot/spicy - there are hot sauces to add if you desire. If you like Indian food, definitely stop in to check this place out! read more

Ordered butter chicken, coconut basmati rice, plain naan bread and Marsala chai tea all to go. Everything tasted fantastic however the butter chicken was mostly sauce with just a few chunks of chicken; hopefully this was just an oversight and next time there will be more.
