    Butter chicken thali

Tasty (not the best Indian food I've ever had), filling (huge portions), and CHEAP (which is sooo nice for Switzerland)!!!!! More of a quick place than sit and linger but the staff was nice. CASH ONLY!!(signs aren't placed that well) Chicken is pretty sweet so make sure you ask if it's sweet vs spicy.

I cannot express how expensive Switzerland is. I knew that it was the most expensive country in the world, but I thought maybe 3 times the price for food that I usually pay for? NO. About 4-5 Times the price more. I refuse to pay $40 for beef sautéed with onion which probably wouldn't even fill me up.. so THIS RESTAURANT IS A GEM IN SWITZERLAND. You want to eat out and not break a bank? EAT HERE. The food was delicious, portions were big, and each platter is only 10 Franks. 10 FRANKS!!!! That's like getting free food in Switzerland. 10 franks is nothing so you must come here to eat!!!!

Tasty, spicy. Lamm Curry. Highly recommend. Lots of food, variety for the price ! Menue was clear but ask about which dishes are spicy (vs sweet) before you order. The potatoes are sweet and spicy. An abundance of rice to mix portions with. Very good variety and lots of flavors! The Lamb is tender and spicy/flavorful. Watch out for the red salsa-looking sauce they slip on to the rice! Hot and spicy! For the price, best value-meal in Lucerne.

Such good food, for such a great price. Like the sign says: 10 Fr gets you a full meal. You can choose from several options and dine in or get it to go. I got the butter chicken and my wife, who doesn't usually like Indian food, thought it was delicious. I wish I lived nearby, I'd be there three times a week, at least!

Looked not appealing but tasted good

Set meals available for takeaway at ChF10 each (very good price with the Swiss standard). Food was tasty and portion was good. Don't mind the ambience and service. For the food, we were all happy. Did we enjoy the meal? Yes. Do we recommend it? Yes.

Butter Chicken was way too sweet. Place is a decent stop for some cheap CHF curry. I like the somewhat tacky decoration as it makes the place colorful and look bigger. Apparently they don't take card, as the table next to me had trouble paying in card. Items are either 10 or 15 CHF.

This restaurant is conveniently located very close to the Chapel Bridge. The servers were quite friendly and kept checking on us. The service was fast. The prices are high, but that's expected in Luzerne. The food is ok. Not very good and not bad. The flavors were there, but didn't taste like authentic Indian food. But filled our cravings in Luzerne. Here is what we got: - Paneer Masala: decent. This was for my son and he enjoyed it. I told them to make it mild for him. - Malai Kofta: this was ok. Too much tomato sauce in it. The traditional dish shouldn't taste this tomato-y. Lacked the authentic taste. - Lachcha Paratha: this was good. Wish it was a bit softer. Overall, not a bad place for some Indian food. Just be prepared to pay a steep price, but that's true for everywhere in Luzerne.

All mains were so good, can't quite rank them in terms of preference- all three were that excellent. So this time ordered 1) Salima Gosht, which was super tender lamb with chickpeas in a creamy cashew nut sauce; 2) Meen Molee, which is king mackerel from the Indian Ocean in a spicy turmeric and coconut milk sauce (the fresh beans were cut to look like chilies, a clever touch) and like the last time, again ordered the Idiappam Biriyani, which are homemade red rice noodles fried with chicken, shrimp and vegetables. My one tip would be to order the bread (wholemeal naan) with the lamb - it was so good I licked the plate clean. We also got condiments, a lovely refreshing Indian salad with tomatoes and onions spiced with a masala mix, and also mango chutney (yummy!). I also got the idlis as a side - so good! The chef later gave us a taste of this Indian white wine, made outside of Bombay and I would also order this next time as it perfectly complimented the food. Finally for dessert got the fresh mango with the homemade coconut ice-cream, just perfectly awesome taste and great way to end the meal. It was a bit pricy (140chf) but just so worth it - this is food that not only fills the belly bug also nourishes the soul.

A small restaurant with great Indian touches everywhere. We had Vegetable Pakoras (really yummy and they go fast), Papadam, Palak Paneer (spicy good) and Sambar Medu Vada (Idlis were a delicacy). Condiments such as Raita, Pickles, and Chutneys added to the rich flavors. We would recommend some yogurt on the side if you can't handle hot Indian food.
