Everything was delicious. My son is vegetarian and his potato and spinach dish was so yummy, and very mild, just as we ordered it. I got chicken and vegetables, and the chicken was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of spice and veggies. My other son's butter chicken and the chicken my mom ordered were both cooked to perfection. We also ordered naan and rice; both were very good. We wanted to take our leftovers with us, and requested more rice and naan as they were closing. They opened the kitchen back up to make additional naan and we were able to snack on naan later that night (my kids are teens) and leftovers the next day. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the restaurant had Indian tapestries on the walls and an Indian movie on the TV-a nice, authentic touch. My vegetarian son was so excited to have a dozen dishes to choose from, and the rest of their menu was extensive as well. Highly recommend.

My favourite entree was the fish tikka. It had a beautiful balance of spices and the fish melted in my mouth. My favourite curry was Maker Paneer (may have misspelled) which was a curry with peas and cubes of 'cheese' in a tomato curry sauce. The cheese/paneer chunks make it filling without needing meat. Way to make us feel hungrier & lamer. Aircon was blasting in our faces & made us sit with coats on, still shivering, so we had to switch tables. The table we switched to had an inconveniently large plant protruding into the table so we had to move the plant on our own. There were no other 4-seater tables available despite the restaurant being less than half full, so we didn't have a lot of options. Dated Xmas lights still hanging with confusing decor that tried to be fancy but you could tell was low cost & inexpertly designed. Really awkward setup. Food was good when it finally came out. We did notice one Indian woman in the back, the rest of the cooking assistants were different ethnicities, and the staff was young European. Personally I questioned its authenticity but it proved to be significantly better than the service. Still not good enough to ever let me go back or recommend. I would recommend choosing another place.
