Everything about this restaurant was wrong - except for the wine. There is a distinct smell of sewers. The waiter wanted to know what we wanted to drink hardly a second after we sat down, and snatched away my pappadum when I was still eating from it. The main course was clearly coming from the freezer - with only a bit of ginger fresh in it. Nouvelle cuisine has decidedly not reached this Indian restaurants: they still have menus of more than 100 dishes instead of a few fresh ones read more

Always good each time I go Service can be a little slow for an American, but it is not that bad great variety of food They can adjust the spiciness (l like "indian hot" lol) You should pay this place a visit read more

The naan was thick and greasy, the mango chicken curry was incredibly and cloyingly sweet, and the service was intermittent

Small Indian restaurant with only three waiters I guess. The waiter wasn't so helpful with us in deciding what to order. It took them ages to serve the food. The biryani tastes so average. Lacks spices and taste. Over priced for such bad service and average indian food read more

The service was excellent, the atmosphere is lovely, and I enjoyed the naan and samosas, but my entree was so terribly salty I could only handle a few bites. Like, it was making my face contort. No one wants to see that. read more

Lovely little restaurant. Everything my girlfriends and I ate was great. Extensive menu. Plenty of vegetarian options. Very slow service. Not as in American slow, but slow even for Germany. Will probably return. It's attractive on the inside and they have a very nice wine menu as well! read more

Just like at home! We're far away from home cooked Indian food and this is pretty darn close. We asked for spicy and yes, it was spicy for us. We will be back! read more

Let me start off my saying that this is one of my favorite places downtown. Last night I got the Butter chicken and naan and I tried the Lamb Mango Curry. Both were so delicious and the portions are a bit small as in you'll finish the whole thing and not be hungry anymore so if you eat a lot you may need to get a mixed grill plate or something. I wasn't in a rush, at all, so I didn't think the service was slow at all. They are friendly and speak English as well. Definitely give this place a try. read more

Von uns gibt es für dieses Restaurant null Sterne. Seinen Kunden gegenüber sollte man immer einen gewissen Respekt erwarten. Wir hatten für samstags abends reserviert. Als wir das Lokal äh den Raum betraten, war er ca. zu 1/3 mit Gästen gefüllt. Bis dahin noch kein Problem. Nach ca. 10 Minuten erschien dann auch der Herr Ober, und wir gaben unsere Bestellung auf. Das Restaurant äh der Raum füllte sich weiter. Nach weiteren ca. 15 Minuten kamen dann auch die Getränke, das sollte es für weitere 80 Minuten erstmal gewesen sein. Keine Nachfrage, ob man die bereits verzehrten Getränke nochmal durch neue ersetzt o.ä. Als ich dann an der Küchenpforte den Herrn Ober nochmal höflich fragte, wann das Essen käme, bekam ich zur Antwort, dass er nochmal in der Küche nachfragt. Allerdings erhielten wir weitere 10 Minuten keine Auskunft. Er erschien schließlich doch und teilte uns hoch qualifiziert mit, das Essen erscheine bald. Auf unsere Nachfrage legte er sich sogar auf 10 Minuten fest. Derweil wurde unsere Tochter unruhig und ich musste mit Ihr ein wenig auf die Straße gehen. Um es abzukürzen, nach weiteren 15 Minuten stand dann das Essen auf dem Tisch, aber halt, nicht das bestellte. Das dauerte dann nochmal 5 Minuten. Dafür dann wahnsinnig riesige Portionen, die Küche hat sich vermutlich zum Ziel gesetzt, das Übergewicht in Deutschland zu bekämpfen. Nicht alle aufgeführten Zutaten waren im Essen auffindbar. Mittlerweile lernten sich die Gäste an den verschiedenen Tischen tischübergreifend kennen, alle auf der Suche nach Personal, Getränken und Essen. Am Ende wollten die Herrschaften auch noch einen marktüblichen Preis für eine miserable ungenügende Leistung, völlig unangebracht. 0 Sterne, 0 Punkte, nie wieder! Mein persönlicher Tipp: Reservieren Sie für 18:30 Uhr, lassen sie sich die Karte vorher zufaxen oder -mailen und bestellen Sie das Essen vorher telefonisch oder per Fax spätestens um 16:30. Andernfalls schauen Sie in die Röhre bzw. das leere Glas vor Ihnen. read more
