The mall cop on duty the night of May 11 (around 8:30, I am aware the mall closes at 9) was extremely rude. My fiancé and I parked in front of Charlotte Russe (I was very excited because Charlotte Russe closed down in Dawsonville) to do some shopping and not a minute later he came up to our car (windows were down, we were eating a quick snack) and he rudely said "what's your business here" and my fiancé replied "just about to go in Charlotte Russe" and he responded very rudely "well you need to get out and get going then. Mall closes at 9." This completely ruined our good mood and I did not really want to walk around and shop after that. I spent maybe 5 minutes in the store before I walked out. I'm still baffled at how rude he was. The only saving grace here was how friendly the staff was in Charlotte Russe in the short time I was in there. read more

As far as outlet malls go this is one of my favorites. I like the layout and the employees seem to enjoy their job. The prices are great and everyone was very helpful and professional. The only store in the entire mall that was a joke was the Olive Basket. The lady that was working there seemed completely clueless on anything olive oil and balsamic. Its one of those stores where you go in and say to yourself, bless her heart when you leave. She was very unprofessional and very unprepared. The rest of the outlet mall was great, which leads me to say if your in the area and looking for some great clothing as great prices definitely stop by. read more

My latest shopping experience at Tanger Outlets with my beautiful wife (of about 10 years ) was awesome. The women at both the Ann Taylor and Tommy Hilfiger stores were very nice and highly professional. In addition, the customer service office personnel were very nice. This outlet center is attractively landscaped and well kept. The stores vary in quality, as all such spots, but there are some good deals to be had at the Tanger Outlets in Commerce, which is located at a spot called Banks Crossing, which is where I-85 crosses US 441. There are more mid-priced and lower priced stores here than at some outlet centers. My favorites are the VF Outlet and the children's clothing stores, but that is in part based on the needs of my family. However, I have been pleased with purchases from Zales, Wilson's Leather, Coach, and Bass. From a logistical standpoint, there are several restrooms and plenty of parking. While there are no restaurants in the complex, there are plenty close by. And, if you buy their coupon book, there are lots of helpful discounts in that, some of which are good at restaurants and stores outside of the Tanger Center. read more

I love love love love Tanger! This place is the half-way mark of my monthly trips to Atlanta and I ALWAYS allow an extra hour and a half to stop here and shop. I love the fact that they still have Le Gourmet and Van Heusen. Parking is central so it's helpful when you're going shopping with other people without the risk of having to walk 3 miles to find them. Easy to get on and off the interstate too. I enjoy having the outlets close by and able to shop when I need something, many stores to get a variety. Parking can be bad on busy times. But the shuttle helps with that. Plenty of clean bathrooms. Prices in the stores and sales are great. read more

As other's have noted, the selection is a little more limited than other outlets. That being said, the experience of going and being in the area is generally enjoyable. Restaurants in the area, gas, coffee, hotels, etc., make for a pleasant rest stop if you're traveling along I-85 and don't want to layover in a super-congested area . . . like Atlanta per se. The mall itself is a great place to shop. Lots of parking, the pavilion forms a doughnut shape that you can walk the inside of, and there's a shuttle to help you get back to one end if you find yourself on the other. Customer service is attentive, and the bathrooms are clean and accessible. If you're looking for something specific though, I recommend checking the store directory ahead of time, to - well - make sure the store that was there the year before is still open. read more

Nice place and lot of shops which will make you buy a bunch of stuffs even if you don't need , me and my wife did a ton of purchase where we went just to have smaller one ! Sunglass factory outlet is lame. People had the misconception that its the factory outlet of sunglass hut but its not.. Had nice time and very good drive from Atlanta !! Hope to visit again and yeah if you are a AAA member you will get the coupon book for free otherwise you have to pay 5 dollars ! But make sure that how much you wanna buy otherwise it not a useful one spending 5 bucks.. read more

Sometimes you can find good (not great) deals here but the other times you notice that the items for sale are really outdated (by outdated I mean about 2 or 3 years ago) and they may still be trying to charge full price for them. I have bought some things out of the Bath and Body Work store but the deals they have in there are the same deals they have in the mall. You might be able to sometimes find some discontinued items here. I still like coming here but I wouldn't make it my primary place to do shopping for good deals.... read more

Of course my husband thought I only booked the hotel for the wedding we were attending because it was nicely located just up the road from this outlet mall but in all honesty, the bride recommended this area because it was adjacent to everything important for the big day. Definitely made me happy though:). They have a Wilson's Leather Outlet which had great deals which is sometimes hard to come by. What we spent for genuine leather sandals, wallet, and jacket would have bought only a wallet from Coach Outlet that we looked at just before. Not the greatest outlet location, but getting better! Seems like they are working very hard to get more stores to join the Tanger family. Which makes me happy since I'm only 45 minutes away from here and an 1.5 from the North GA Outlets in Dawsonville, which will rival any outlet mall in the country!! There aren't a lot of places to eat that are not fast food, yuck! Keep on doing the good work Tanger to get the good stores and maybe you'll earn a 5! read more

A cool place to stop, right on I 85 between Atlanta & Charlotte. 85 stores most offering some attractive discounts. I think the key to successful outlet shopping is to be open minded and look for clearance priced items. read more

If you live in the south anywhere near an interstate system, i am sure you are familiar with Tanger outlet malls. If you buy in patterns (i.e. 'always buy gap t-shirts') these places are fantastic for loading up on all of your regulars for cheap. As a J. Crew and Levi's loyalist, this where i keep the average cost of acquiring those items down. If you're there around lunch, make sure to stop in La Hacienda for some good affordable Georgia-Mex on the way out. read more

I only live 12 miles from this Tanger Outlet so I'm quite likely to go here when I need to purchase an item. It's my go to place for shoes. There are about 5 or 6 stores I frequent. My favorite thing about Tanger is the TangerClub Rewards. For a one-time $10 investment I can get a coupon book each time I go if I need it. (Of course if I've downloaded the TangerClub app on my phone those coupons are at my digital fingertips.) By scanning my receipts on each visit I earn rewards at each $ level I attain. These include in store credits and gift cards. I love getting a text that they're offering a surprise flash if I come in during a certain time-frame. This is one of the smartest marketing tools they have, in my opinion. And if this isn't enough, the staff in the mall office are amazingly friendly and helpful. read more

This review is for Easy spirit and Bali, Hanes store. Easy Spirit has the best selection in widths of the cutest shoes and very helpful employees! I ended up with three pairs of shoes and $25. off because I had my tanger card. I drove 45 minutes to get there just to go to that store! Bali also carries the bra style I love, ignominy colors. I am unable to get that style in a dept store where I live, so it is just great! I also picked up 3 bras. The stff there is also quite helpful. I wish there was a bigger selection of stores at the outlets. For the most part, I only go to a select few when I go there. read more

I visited shopper services to pick up a gift card. There were two women working, and one began to process my transaction. Then, another shopper entered and requested a coupon book from the other employee. The customer didn't want to provide her email or phone number, and the employee was helping with her request. The employee who was helping me felt the need to interject, and got up on a soapbox about why the information was needed even though the other employee was helping the customer. Meanwhile, she was inattentive to me and my transaction. Disappointing experience. read more

I love this outlet. I take my kids every year for school shopping and they are always able to get twice the cloths for their money. Tanger sends me coupons twice a year as well and one is always around Christmas. Would defiantly recommend this outlet to families with kids. read more

I love that Tanger has a Carter's and OshKosh. 99% of my son's wardrobe comes from those two stores, so the fact that they're side-by-side makes it extra convenient for me. I love the great sales I can find; just recently I was able to use a reward from Carter's plus a $10 gift card I received from a promotion Tanger was offering and pay only 96 cents total for 5 pieces of clothing for my son! I shop at Loft, and the salespeople are extremely helpful. They're always having great sales, and the clothing is perfect for me. Being local, I spend a lot of my shopping time at Bank's Crossing Tanger Outlet. As a rule it is a good place to shop. Today, however, is the first time I've gone back to a store to ask for help with a damaged item. I'd gotten a great pair of sandals from G H Bass and one of the decorative stones fell off. I hoped they would have a suggestion or even point me in a direction to fix the problem. Instead, the clerk I spoke with was rude, unconcerned and acted as if I were disturbing the little chat session I'd interrupted. There were no other customers and 3 sales people so it seemed that a moment or two of their time wasn't too much to ask. Granted we are talking an outlet location, but a wee bit of service after a sale shouldn't be too much to ask. Guess I need to find a new shoe store. read more

Excellent selection of stores! My favorites were Brooks Brothers and Under Armour... I saved a ton when I used the Tanger coupons. Couldn't believe the new Old Navy Outlet...what incredible prices! Really clean bathrooms made the visit that much nicer. Other nice things include free electric vehicle charging, a comfortable shopper lounge and a great shopper club where you earn rewards when you show your receipts. This was my second time visiting this Tanger Outlet location. This time I came with my fiancé. The sales that they had were pretty good. But the overall customer service experience was horrible. No one greeted us, they weren't helpful and just not friendly. I have worked in customer service over 7 years and I know what good customer service is. I wasn't pleased and I highly doubt that I will be returning to this location any time soon. I do believe the younger generation has something to do with it and maybe even race. I was very disappointed in my visit. Maybe this problem will be brought to corporates attention. (areopastle, Ralph Lauren, Hollister & others). My overall rating is based on my experience. read more
