Coach Outlet, nuff said. Took my wife there for a "treat" to her first Coach purse after our mini vacation to Tybee Island. North Georgia Premium outlets are better....but this place can get the job done. Not exactly my type of people around that area i would usually pride myself in being around. Tanger has gotten a lot busier over the last 10 years. A lot more stores & variety to offer guests. The only thing that is lacking is places to eat inside Tanger. The only places to really grab a bite to eat are Denny's or the recently added Honey Baked Ham store & then there's American Cookie or a smoothie shop for a snack & a few vending machines. But other than that for a unique shopping experience I highly recommend visitors to check out Tanger outlet if they have a chance. read more

You should find most anything you need when going to Tanger. I was thrilled when I found Christopher Banks had opened, and so excited to see the Honey Baked Ham store was there, also. The only negative thing about this Tanger is lack of eating places. There is a Denny's, but the service is SLOW and I question their cleanliness. There is plenty of parking and restrooms are conveniently located throughout the mall, and always clean. read more

I think one of the few outlets I've been to actually contain an Under Armour store!(Which was the reason for our 45-minute drive.)

Very nice place to shop for adults, not to many preteen stores. Very clean out door mall yes it was very crowded. Most outlet malls give coupon books to outsate guess nope not this one. Also they don't have wheelchair to rent. The bath room was very clean. Could never find the food court. I Wouldn't return by myself only with some who know where everything is at. read more

Excellent, mid-range outlet mall with lots of good sales and right off I75 - can't go wrong. No "premium stores" (e.g. Pottery Barn), but dozens of great stores like Gap, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Skechers, etc. The outlet mall is located outside and missed the memo on store directory signage, so it definitely pays to look up the stores on the Tanger website before you go - that way you can park close to the stores that interest you. read more

I love shopping at Tanger Outlet! Lots of great prices and just an all around fun environment. Some of my favorite stores are Polo, Coach, Nine West and last but not least Sanibel Sunglass Company. When you walk in the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have many different sunglass brands to choose from and lots of variety to fit everyone's personal style. Very crowded very expensive. Workers stand by door smoking. I by passed several stores due to employees smoking.

This location could be a lot better. The outlet itself is not overly bad, but the consistency from outlet to outlet is poor as far as store options at each location. The standards of service varies from extremely bad to mediocre (being fare, I have had good experiences in Bass and Wilson...their service is consistently superior). Again, when shopping an outlet, your not shopping Tanger...you're shopping the retail establishments in your location; therefore, they have a huge impact of your customers experience. Long story short, I only shop here because there aren't any other options (as far as outlets) within 80+ miles. read more

I came here recently. My third visit so far. Not a lot of stores, but convenient after dropping of kiddos at the in-laws which lives on this side of town for some shopping time. This is the only decent "mall" in the southside area. No food court, only a Denny's Restaurant. Big names such as Coach, J.Crew, Polo Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic(my favorites). Not much of a savings when there's not a big sale, but I was lucky to get some really good savings at J.Crew that day. Because of the limited stores and parking, that is why I gave this a two star. Try North GA Premiem Outlet in Dawsonville. Much more parking and way more stores for shopping. read more

On Sunday, Feb. 14, we witnessed a robbery at Michael Kors. We were screaming for Security to call 911. Security told me they could not call 911 until the store told him to call. The car with the thieves and multiple handbags they stole almost hit the Security guy. I received an email from Tanger after posting this on their site. The email said " We hope your most recent visit to Tanger Outlets Locust Grove exceeded your expectations." The whole damn bunch is crazy. read more

This is a great place to shop. For some of the stores, I do not think you really get "outlet" prices. But, for the others, I think you get some really good deals. You have to know what you are looking at, and you have to know how much things cost elsewhere. With that being said, there is plenty of variety, and it is pleasant to shop here. read more

My mission was only the Coach outlet, so I can't comment on prices at the other stores right now, but I plan on visiting again to hit some of the other outlet stores.. I went to the 50% off sale at Coach and got some deals and have to say their employees are so nice and helpful. Parking wasn't a problem at all, but I went on a Tuesday afternoon. Tanger Outlet at Locust Grove is a great place to shop! My three daughters and I plan a Christmas shopping day at Tanger every December and always return home with a car load of gifts. I live near these outlets so travel isnt an issue. I have had both good and bad experiences with customer service in the stores. Sketchers refused to accept a coupon on which they were listed as one of the stores. I recently visited the Under Armour store and had great service and got a very good deal on hoodies. Know your prices before you go--just because they're outlets doesnt mean you're getting a bargain. read more
