Everyone here seems so happy, helpful, passionate and enthusiastic! The warmth of the dancers and teachers makes me feel magnetized to this place, it's feels like a community we've been missing out here, an activity that feels so good to participate in. When you sign up for wedding courses, they'll do a consultation to assess what you need and listen to your music to help choose the dance style that best fits your song, you even can get your song mixed. I do think price transparency is helpful for many, so private classes were about $200 per class for us as a couple. You get a teacher who will work with you all the way through and in addition you can come to multiple group classes at no extra charge each week. They have classes every day and "parties" on Fridays for dancers to all come together for a class and even demos! Highly recommend for lessons and community! We've only come twice thus far, but gosh has it been wonderful! Highly recommend!

Getting a text at 10 pm at night when it's not an emergency is ridiculous. I should have read the reviews here first.

Before the show, they hosted a discussion with the director and production team, giving the audience a chance to ask questions and get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and how everything comes together (which seems so intense!). Honestly, such a cool way to make ballet more accessible and get people interested in the performing arts. For a suggested donation of $25, you get to meet the crew, ask your burning questions (like, how do they make it look so effortless?), and then watch the full dress rehearsal. Not a bad deal at all. The dancers were absolutely phenomenal, and since Emergence hasn't been performed in Seattle for seven years, it feels like a big moment. Safe to say, it's going to do really well. I think they've got a few more of these dress rehearsals/production team discussions lined up this season for upcoming shows and if you've ever wanted to see world-class ballet without committing to a full-priced ticket, this is 100% the way to do it. Definitely worth checking out!

This is a great way to celebrate the holidays with family, especially for the younger individuals who will no doubt find the experience magical. Parking in the Mercer Street Garage is definitely the way to go since there is a catwalk that brings you into McCaw Hall. This is very helpful when the PNW rain is upon us, since it is covered for the entire walk into the hall. There is a complimentary coat check on the bottom floor and several concessions stands for coffee, tea, sodas, and alcohol as well as snacks and sweets throughout the venue. The ballet and orchestra are always great entertainment and this is definitely an annual outing we enjoy thoroughly.

They have an incredible selection, and many of the machines target your legs from different angles. I've been coming to Seattle for work for the past 4-5 years, and whenever I'm here--whether it's for a day, a week, or a few months--this is where I train. My only wish is that they had sleds and trap bars. Other than that, it's an excellent gym. I jokingly call it the "John Wick gym" because of the lighting, but it definitely grows on you.

He does an awesome job keeping everything organized and making sure the gym is always in top shape, where there's been times where he's already picked up and organized my weights before I even get back to my superset. You can tell he genuinely takes pride in the gym and making sure everyone has a great experience. At the end of the day, it's the people and the atmosphere that keep me coming back. Great place to train with an employee base that wants their members to love the experience and keep coming back.

This last time I was there, they were offering mini Molly Moons ice creams and chocolate covered oreos from Seatown Sweets. Love that they incorporate local offerings.
