I hurt my back after a fall and thought I would see him, well it was a horrible uncaring experience. He was brief and didn't give any advice but a pain shot. Said I didn't hurt my hip, but it was my spine and he showed me the X-ray and it didn't look good. I asked if I should get physical therapy, stretches anything to help! He gave me a pain shot in my back with NO NURSE present and said if it doesn't work in 10 days to call back. That was it!!! Zero bed side manner, not caring at all.............when this is a huge deal to me. I called and complained to the front desk and they had him call me back. I told him my concerns and he didn't care at all and never apologized. I'm going to Spine One and they actually care. I would never go back to see Dr. Ted Parks ever again and I will never refer him to anyone. What a cold hearted human being. Not the doctor for me.

I keep giving this place a chance and I'm honestly sad to give this review. I feel like Dr White is…read moreprobably brilliant and obviously he's developed a great technique for labrum repair. But his office has just been a constant disappointment. I first saw him last spring 2024 before having his labrum repair surgery in May 2024. I sought him out because I knew I needed the surgery after being diagnosed with the labrum tear elsewhere and having them tell me it had to be repaired in two surgeries instead of one. So, the obvious choice was Dr White with all his glowing reviews. He really has a great bedside manner but you can tell most of his effort goes into the consultation in which he essentially "sells" you his surgery. But.... You will NEVER see him for an appointment where he is not at least an hour behind and the front desk staff and nurses will treat you like YOU are the rude one no matter how nicely you ask for an update or try to express your need to leave by a certain time. My appointment was for 11 today. I arrived at 10:50. Was taken back for X-rays at 11:15 then put back in the waiting room, then was finally brought back to an exam room at 11:50. When I told the nurse I had a hard stop at 12:30 to make it to another appointment across town, she looked at me with such disdain I could not believe it. Like, how dare I not plan three hours for a Dr. White visit. it really didn't matter anyway because I still didn't see him until 12:40 when I was basically panicking about the time I couldn't ask as many questions as I wanted. Every single time I ever went to see Dr White, the wait has been more than an hour. I thought a year later might be a different experience, but they obviously gave no interest in improving it. I'll also never get over the bad taste left from my fight for my $2500 deposit more than 6 months after insurance paid the claim. I'm sure I'd still be waiting if I didn't fight as hard as I did to finally get it back. I basically emailed everyone I could possibly think of affiliated with the practice over and over until I eventually made progress. Overall, the labrum repair surgery didn't work for me, and I'm not really sure why but he told me to follow up again in a year. Ugh. Not sure I'll find it worth it. After I waited 1.5 hours past my appointment time to see him he spent a whole 5 minutes with me. I'm convinced all his amazing studies on the success of his labrum repair technique are extremely biased because he's not including the failures. Or because people with failed surgeries don't go back. Just some stuff to keep in mind if you are considering it. If I had the chance to do it over, I wouldn't go near this place.

I have been waiting over 3 months for a procedure and the office is claiming it is due to insurance denials. When I spoke to an imaging office, they told me the truth about the office- they don't do what is needed to get procedures and process out through insurance. All that was needed for an MRI to not come out of pocket for me was a peer to peer review and he refused to do so. When another medical office is apologizing for the treatment of your Dr based on a small ask they refused, you know you have a bad Dr. Dr Drennan is amazing. I have no issue with him he treats patients amazingly. If he would treat all patients his practice would be amazing. The ladies at the front desk are nice. When GREEDY NONSENSE wins over common sense ---…read more I arrived for my procedure, checked in, and was immediately told I had to pay $1,700 upfront. I explained that I had several recent medical visits (urgent care, ER, MRI, and two spinal injections) that all still needed to be processed by insurance, and I preferred to wait until everything cleared so I'd know the actual amount I owed. The front desk told me I couldn't be seen unless I paid at least half. I repeated that I didn't want to pay an arbitrary amount and then have to fight for a refund that could take weeks. I simply wanted them to bill my insurance and charge me the correct amount afterward -- the way every other facility has done. They refused, so I left. A few minutes later, the same staff member called to say she had "rerun" my insurance and now it showed I only owed around $350, so suddenly that amount was acceptable. Which just proved my point -- it clearly fluctuates. What if they ran it again tomorrow and it showed I owed $0? I had fasted for two days, taken a PTO day, spent money on supplies for the prep, and sacrificed time with my son for absolutely nothing because they insisted on collecting an inaccurate estimate up front. This was incredibly unprofessional and showed zero regard for patients' time, money, or basic dignity. I will be taking my care elsewhere. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY!!!

After some discussion I realized that my definition of tarry stools and The medical professionals definition are different. My definition was that the toilet paper never gets clean. Although I have constant fatigue my iron levels are normal based on the fact that I take iron supplements however the physician's assistant still recommended and endoscopy and a colonoscopy because I'm anemic. I called twice to talk to the physician and was told that I couldn't speak to God Almighty unless I scheduled another appointment and paid another $25 copay. This is the same place that told my daughter that she had celiacs disease after speaking to her for 10 minutes and later retracted that as well. I don't trust this place. I think they're a racket. When you're only tools a hammer every problem looks like a nail.

My surgery was scheduled at 10:15A but because they were running ahead of schedule, I was in the recovery room before 10:15A. Paul was my nurse who prepped me and he talked me through everything and had awesome bedside manner. I was also greeted by the Anesthesiologist who introduced herself and asked me what surgeries I have had in the past and if there were complications. Ian rolled me into the operating room and helped me transfer onto thw operating table along. The Anesthesiologist (sorry, I forgot her name) was talking me through the sedation. Per the hubs, my tonsillectomy was only 20 minutes and then I was in recovery for an hour before going home. The nurse in the recovery room (also forgot her name) was awesome and gave me a popsicle and water. She also wheeled me down to the cars. I also received a phone call from Centrum this morning asking me how I feel and offered their assistance if I needed anything.
