I am deciding if I will file a malpractice suit against Attorney Doud. When at least one parent is uncooperative in creating a parenting plan it provides the opportunity for attorneys to make money at the expense of the children. We scheduled a consultation and the woman that I spoke to was very rude, talking over me and obviously not paying attention to me. When I asked her to please stop talking so I could correct her false understanding she hung up on me. Not a very competent or crdible lawfirm to treat people this way. They must not want to actually help anyone if they can't even listen to them so they have the benefit of the facts and can properly advise them.

Good about one matter, bad about another…read more I called about one matter, talked to Barbara Brown, who seemed confident that the attorneys there could help. $1500 retainer seemed reasonable, but I ended up not hiring them due to resolving the issue myself through the county where I have property. Then I ran into another issue, talked to their paralegal, who seemed confident that he and the attorneys could help. So I called the front and gave them the retainer. Then crickets. This was a matter that could've been solved with a letter, maybe two, from an attorney. I wrote a termination letter and received my money back promptly. Then a few days ago, I get a call asking about the "other matter" that I needed to hire them for. I called back the next day and told them that they don't care to call back for a few months, and I had paid the retainer and not heard back, so I feel like no one there cares.
