Such great service. Lots of employees running around Filling shelves and doing everything to help us with a great shopping experience. I enjoyed seeing all the goods, and the employees were very helpful and sharing where each vegetable came from and they also had baked goods besides vegetables and fruits. We picked up some milk and some cookies, and big bag of spinach and leafy greens, a big bag of carrots, and a delightful little bag of radishes. I also got a few ears of corn. Nice local dairy with a variety of fruit and vegetables and dairy products. Good fresh pies and ice cream. The place is usually busy. Not crazy about a few discourteous employees that work there. Younger teens with no obvious training on customer service. Another issue is the up charge on credit cards. I believe it's 2 or 3 percent but at a time when most people don't carry large amounts of cash I think if they charged 1 percent across the board it would be beneficial for everyone and just the price of doing business. read more

Produce and Ice Cream deserve 5 stars. The children who work there ruin it. We went yesterday and a young blonde girl was working the register. My 2 year old daughter said high with a big smile. The girl didn't even look at us as she rang out our groceries in a very slow and unhappy way. My wife even said cheer up you will most likely be off for the snow storm on Monday. She replied they make us work not matter what. This young lady was just miserable and my children were even asking what was wrong with her. I understand why this grocer is so busy but I cannot believe the swarms of people I see every visit. I stopped in today for some fresh produce (red grapes and green gapes @ $2.99/lb, blueberries @ $3.99 a pint and strawberries @ $4.99 a container). I find their prices to be fair and the quality is supreme to what you get at your local supermarket. The store is cozy when busy. The service is excellent and they always have many employees who often times pack your groceries for you as you check out. When I was a kid my mother would tell me stories about escaping Northeast Philly to Bucks County and enjoying fresh ridiculous portions of ice cream at Greenwood Dairies (present day Team Toyota Langhorne). I would often hear her repeat that story as I grew up and wished the dairy was still around to share a similar experience with my kids. Well, as luck would have it, Tanner Brothers gives you that experience with their fresh delicious ice cream. As a bonus you can also check out the aisles of snacks, fresh bakery items, produce, packaged meats and more. I love the old school feel of the inside. The short journey for ice cream was everything I had hoped to share with my family. We were able to order ice cream, walk out to the wooden fencing and enjoy the beautiful view of the dairy farm. My boys enjoyed their cotton candy and chocolate marshmallow ice cream while I was all in on their Peanut Butter Cup - Fresh, creamy chocolate ice cream with just the right amount of peanut butter. My wife had the mocha chip and gave it a huge thumbs up. Locally, it doesn't get much better than this folks! Couple of notes: The parking lot is huge and was very crowded. This spot is very popular. The parking spaces are very wide, hallelujah! There is a ton of staff, mostly young kids, but they were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, your only option for a bathroom is a porta-potty out back. We stocked up on some snacks and a couple of grocery items from the store and headed out. I was loving their cheese selection and they had an entire wall of pretzels and chips some being smaller local brands (sturgis pretzels). I'll have to make some special runs for their ice cream pints and half gallons in the future. I didn't see chocolate milk, but from other Yelpers reviews, I'll definitely be on the hunt for it next time. Thank you Tanner Brothers! The best fresh food in our area. A Farm that not only has cows along with an extremely successful store. Always very busy. They give the young first time job seeker a great opportunity with discipline. The best Ice cream in our area. Still THE BEST ice cream around!! Great prices and friendly service! We stopped in this Thursday before Halloween and were greeted by a lovely young lady offering us a good size sample of their pumpkin milk. One word - Delicious! I was very happy to find they had seasonal offerings of pumpkin pie ice cream and apple pie ice cream in their case. My new best friend Ben dug out hefty scoops full. I discovered this place looking for ice cream places near Newtown. This dairy farm does not look like a place to get ice cream when you pull into the parking lot. It just looks like a grocery store. Then you see all the cows in the back! What fun! We got our ice cream and walked back to eat and cow-gaze. The ice cream was good, but nothing extraordinary. Tanner's has a great selection of fresh produce and other groceries, but obviously where they shine is their dairy. The butter is AMAZING and so creamy. I've been getting ice cream from here since I was a little kid and I'm addicted to the stuff. They have a large variety of flavors that I've tried when other people have gotten them, but I have to admit that I've personally only ever gotten the bubblegum flavor (ah, nostalgia!). I love sitting outside, eating my ice cream and watching the dairy cows grazing in the fields. My only complaint is that the place seems to be run by high schoolers. That comes with all of the disorganization that you'd expect, including them being more willing to talk with their friends and scream across the entire store than helping customers. read more

It could be a dessert in and of itself! I was surprised to see so many homemade ice cream and water ice flavors. I could not decide so I went with cookies n cream, one of my favorites. It was more of a brownish color, Im guessing they mixed the cookies in the cream before they froze it. It was good however I had one mini Oreo in the small cup.
