Before we even started touring properties, she took the time to meet with me over video and walk through MLS listings together so we could narrow down what I was actually looking for. That conversation helped clarify my priorities and made the whole process feel organized from the beginning. Since then, she has shown me several homes around the greater Dallas area and has been incredibly generous with her time. She went above and beyond was when she FaceTimed me from an open house I couldn't make it to so I could still see the property and ask questions in real time. That level of effort meant a lot. Catherine is very transparent, patient, and easy to work with. She listens carefully, gives honest feedback, and never makes you feel pressured to rush into anything. It's clear she genuinely wants to help her clients find the right home rather than just close a deal. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy realtor in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I would definitely recommend working with her. I haven't found the perfect house yet, but she's been fantastic throughout the search and I'm really glad to have her helping me through the process.

We successfully bought a fantastic home with Katie (our first)! She is knowledgeable,…read morewell-connected, and very communicative (email, text, calls). Just a really awesome person to talk with and could answer our questions and calm our nerves. Have had a good experience with all her connects as well (lender, title co, etc). She even followed up multiple times after we closed to make sure everything was okay and recommended contractors for work. We were looking for a property type that was surprisingly competitive to lock down, and while it was frustrating after a while with no success, as soon as we made it clear we were ready to buy ASAP, Katie spent a day texting everyone she knew, and secured a premarket property we could look at the next day - a few days later, we were in contract! Some tips if you are considering buying a home with Katie (or really, any realtor): - Make it clear what you're looking for, and be sure it aligns with their property experience and goals. Luckily we immediately clicked with Katie on our first meet, especially on a personal/life level - If you're serious about buying, make sure that's clear (vs "just looking") and that you're ready to view properties the same/next day (instead of waiting for weekends - the good ones'll be gone by then) Good luck!

As a first-time homebuyer, I of course had many questions about the process, especially during such a seller's market. Katie worked with me at length to answer every question, via text/e-mail/phone, no matter the time. She thoroughly explained the current market and had an excellent strategy in place. She and her team were able to find several off-market listings, a true challenge in this market! She was very knowledgeable about the areas and kinds of properties (townhomes and condos) for which I was searching. We toured probably 15-20 properties and eventually found one for which I wanted to make an offer. Katie immediately understood the urgency of the situation and worked with me over multiple evenings to submit the offer and deal with many additional challenges to see this through from offer to closing. Her contacts with respect to home inspection, banks, title company and contractors are also impeccable and speak to her high regard in the industry. Truly, Katie and her team went so above and beyond to secure a home in which I am thrilled. I am honored to consider her my realtor and so grateful for her professionalism, attention to detail, thoroughness, and effort. It speaks even more highly of her that in such a sellers market she would dedicate so much time to a buyer. Finally, Katie is just plain kind, funny, and fun. Her personable nature is truly a joy in such a challenging process.

Things started off fine by him sending listings based off of our criteria and had a flexible schedule when it came to showings. We made an offer on one home and we went with an inspector that was amazing but David did mention beforehand that his go-to guy was unavailable. This inspector was very detailed, transparent and walked through the details of home that were concerning. Well we decided to retract our offer and David was not to pleased about it. He mentioned the crack in the pool was superficial and with our price range and location criteria we can't be expecting a home without any issues. For about 370k in the suburbs and a master on the first floor, I would have expected David to be a bit more understanding. Well he attempted to make us feel bad for retracting the offer but we're glad we did. Second offer was a home that was in our desired school zone slightly over our price range. After speaking to our lender we made an offer that we'd handle the closing but not the title. David was on board and I asked questions about the contract to ensure it was what was discussed. Well, after speaking to the lender, she mentioned the sellers weren't paying for it. I stayed in contact with the lender every step of the way to ensure we met our end of the deal at closing. David said the seller was not obligated to pay but the portion would be a good amount. I explained to him that I understood nothing was obligated which is why I needed it to be clearly defined in the contract. He got defensive saying that I shouldve reviewed the contract before signing. I told him we may retract since we my not have enough for closing in which he chnaged his demeanor saying he would speak to our lender. All in all, David is a closer who looks after himself and not his clients. So if you have a cash offer then he's your guy. If not, go with someone else who understands the importance and financial commitment of buying a home. This should be an exciting time for home buyers regardless if this is your first or third home. *Note: second home we used his inspector who was not as thorough as the first guy. I had to get others for second opinions and was advised the roof needed to be replaced. We got a new roof from the sellers thanks to other inspectors. I also received calls for about 3 months from people that the inspector gave our info to about buying new homes.

I'd heard horror stories about realtors and the home-buying process but she helped make it a stress free experience. She listened to what I wanted and needed, she never took me to homes that were not what/where I was looking for or to houses that were out of my budget. I went with her again to sell my house and yes, that process was smooth, too. Even with a couple hiccups which can happen with selling a home, she was always quick with updates and responses to my concerns which helped keep stress low! I had a very modest budget to buy with but I never felt like I wasn't important or that my buying/selling wasn't a priority. I've recommended Candace to so many people because I trust her, she knows what she's doing, and she's just the sweetest person! Paris, who was a go-between (I'm sorry, I can't remember her exact title) was wonderful as well - quick with updates, answered my many questions, and was super friendly. I'm so thankful I had Candace for both processes, and I wouldn't go with anyone else!
