I came in the evening with friends. The restaurant was nice. It is located at a corner. It was big inside. We had to wait to be seated around 20 minutes. I recommend making reservations even if they say you don't have to. They had plenty of empty tables insideand out. We didn't understand the wait time. The place was loud inside. We sat outside and it was nice and loud lol. We had Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice. The rice was not crispy but it was good. The calamari tower was excellent and cool to look at. I loved the grilled chicken wings. They had a good flavor and the sauces good. The truffle fries were perfect. The table service was slow. The experience was okay.

We visited again for dinner. The food was good as usual. We got the guac + cheese with truffle oil, salsa and chips (one of my favorites) and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. I got the filet steak sandwich that I love with a side of truffle Mac and cheese. Hubby got the filet with loaded mashed potatoes, and my daughter got a smash burger with fries. The waitress was on point when we dined, kept our soft drinks refilled.

I came here for the first time for dinner and must say it did not disappoint Great service food and drinks. Very Lively atmosphere fun and friendly staff. we went on a weekend so it was packed we had made reservations so the wait was not long. Drinks we tried the Toasted Coconut Margarita and The Peachy Lychee Martini both very good appetizer we tried the Crispy Asian Calamari Tower which was very tasty and for main course we had Wagyu Steak & Noodle Bowl and the Prime Chimichurri Skirt Steak both dishes were delicious. The boys had the kids cheeseburger with fries and the Crispy Chicken Tenders with fries and the both enjoyed their meals. I will return because there are other menu items I'm interested in trying and the service was good and friendly.

"Don't be a Prick" Margarita pitcher

My friends and I celebrated New Years Eve at Tap 42 and enjoyed such a delicious meal. The restaurant was very spacious and we were sat at a large table that could accommodate up to 10. We shared the "Don't be a Prick" margarita pitcher, which was enough to give 8 people each a drink! Great value and super tasty - would order again. For a meal, I had the truffle mac and cheese and the spicy tuna crispy rice. I am a Mac and cheese lover and I must say this was some of the best I've ever had. It was a pretty large portion and I wasn't able to finish it all, but absolutely loved it. I'm already planning to go back just for that Mac and cheese! The spicy tuna crispy rice was also so delicious. I'm can't tolerate spice very well, so I did find it to have a bit of a kick, but the flavors were great. Would order these again too! Our server was very attentive for our party of 8. Prices are a little high, but I found that the food quality justified the prices. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience filled with amazing food and I am looking forward to going back soon.

Very cute location in Plantation. I like the way the bar is situated and the outdoor seating is blocked off from the parking with a wall and trees. So you don't feel like you're sitting in a parking lot. We had great service! I started off with my fav, the prickly pear margarita. It's tart, sweet and has just enough kick of tequila. The basil addition also gives it an herbaceous twist. For entree we had the chicken wings with a basket of fries. The wings here are fantastic cause first of they're grilled. They also come with the sauces on the side which is great when you're sharing. You can choose between buffalo of bbq dipping sauces with the usual blue cheese. The basket of fries was legit a basket a fries. They do not skimp out on the portions here. Much obliged!

Came in for the first time on a Sunday evening to have family dinner. The place was very busy so i recommend to make reservations. I came in at my reservation time and was sat immediately while other people without was told wait 20-45 min. Our server was fast and friendly and provided recommendations. The restaurant was kinda loud but still was able to talk. The cocktails we had were delicious and strong. For appetizers we had the calamari tower which was light and very tasty. Kids had the cheeseburger and the tenders which both boys enjoyed. I ordered the chimichurri steak with the loaded potato. Steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The loaded potato was also delicious. My mom ordered the wagyu steak noodles which in the menu doesn't say it , however it was very spicy for her. So we ended up switching. Overall we enjoyed our time and I would be back as there was several plates we will like to try.

I really enjoyed Tap 42. They sat us right away and the service was friendly. I enjoyed the atmosphere which was upbeat and friendly. The decor matched the feeling of this restaurant. The menu is American cuisine including cocktails and beer. Something on the menu for everybody. I recommend the crispy chicken tender melt. So good. The chocolate chunk bread pudding is a must. There are other things on the menu that I can't wait to try and I highly recommend you check this place out.

Went to TAP42 on a Wednesday evening with two of my girlfriends. We got there around 6:30 or 7, parking wad easy and the place was busy. Not packed, but definitely poppin'. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes to be seated. While waiting, we noticed some diners outside were being harassed by ducks. People were swatting them away and a few even moved inside because they couldn't deal. What surprised me was that no staff members stepped in (during the time I was there) it was all the customers trying to handle the duck situation. Once we were seated, things started off well. I ordered my go to, the chicken wings, all flats, well done. They came out exactly how I like them, so no complaints there. My friend ordered a salmon with sweet potato fries. Those fries were delicious. I also had a Toasted Coconut margarita, which was ok. I thought it would be creamier. The music inside was good, at first. It started off at a nice volume, maybe a level five. But out of nowhere, it jumped to a ten! It got so loud we couldn't even hear each other talk. Everyone in the restaurant was looking around like, "What is going on?" We had to ask our waiter to have them turn it down, and thankfully he did. But it definitely threw off the vibe for a bit. Now for the part I was most excited about, the strawberry tres leches. I always look forward to that dessert, and I even told the server, "Make sure they make it with love!" because this was my first time at this location. But when it came out... dry. Like, where are the tres leches?! I was so disappointed. I made sure not to order fries with my wings and only ate 5 of the wings, to save space for dessert. I asked for more milk and the server brought me a whole bowl to pour over it myself. At that point, it felt like a DIY project. Plus, doing it that way didn't really give the milk time to soak into the cake. It sucks because I was the one who suggested going to TAP42 because I was confident that id wnd my night with a bomb Tres Leches. Overall, the wings were good, and the service was decent. But the loud music moment and the disappointing dessert brought it down. I'd honestly give this spot a 3.5 if I could. Not quite a 4, because some things really missed the mark but it's better than just a 3. Would I go back? Maybe, but I wouldn't order the tres leches again. And if I'm not ordering that, then what's the point of me even going?

Chopped Chicken Caesar Wrap
Jordan H.

First time at the Davie location and I will say it was a lot more chill than some of the others. Parking was easy because it's in a big plaza which was a plus. We ordered the chicken caesar wrap with sweet potato fries and the tres leches french toast. Both items were amazing! I kept seeing the chicken caesar on IG so I had to try it. The wrap was stuffed with chopped chicken and the perfect amount of dressing. The French toast was so sweet with the syrup and dulce de leche drizzle but it was the perfect balance with the wrap. We also ordered a pitcher of the cucumber gin cocktail and it was so good! It honestly tasted like a nice refreshing green juice. I also highly recommend the hot shot. It was basically an espresso martini shot with whip cream on top. The shot is actually warm so it melted the whip cream, so good!

A NICE sized portion of blackened Mahi on the bun!

We went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We enjoyed the atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Our food was good with generous portions. But the big hiccup was service. Our waiter brought us drink and took our food order. Once we were served, we never saw him again. No water refills and no second round of drinks. He eventually came back, but by then our food and our patience was gone. It was NOT that busy, and it looked like they had plenty of staff. We'll give them a second try though! I especially want to get the Chicken Avocado Salad my wife ordered!

Abigail S.

Ordered a Caesar salad wrap from Uber eats from top 42. The bag was completely sealed the box inside was completely sealed. There was no way for it to be open. When I took the container of the wrap outside of the bag. The box was still closed and there was a cockroach crawling around inside of my wrap inside of the container when the container was still closed meaning the cockroach went inside of my food at the restaurant when it was being made because there's no way for a cockroach to open a sealed container like that. This place is freaking disgusting. They obviously need to clean or get checked or get inspected because this is absolutely ridiculous. A disgusting cockroach crawling around inside of my food. Never eating from this place again and I would not recommend because you don't know what they're doing inside the kitchen for an insect to be inside of a wrap.

Went on a Saturday around 5pm. Plenty of seating at the bar outside. Ordered drinks, I wasn't a huge fan of the one I ordered - it was kush strawberry something not sure of the name. Nice presentation though. The chopped chicken Caesar wrap, omg!! So good and definitely fills you up. Came with a side of fries. The service was good, attentive for being at the bar. Parking was decent!

They're often busy during lunch and dinner times (understandable), but it's because they're directly across from NSU's campus, and those are peak times (stating the obvious). As for my favorite protein - try the BBQ chicken or blackened chicken; both are packed with flavor! The cold cookies (as odd as it may sound) were sensational, too! I would've posted a photo of my bowl, but it was so good that I finished it before I could finish typing this.

We came after a busy morning at the beach and I was craving something fresh. After a quick search on Yelp, I found Naked Farmer and was reminded that we were super close to it. It's fairly close to Sawgrass Mills mall and is in a plaza with a good amount of parking. Although the outside seems small, the space inside is pretty long and has a good amount of seating. The servining is "chipotle-style" where you order your food and customize it how you want it and pay at the register at the end. I shared a bowl with my partner and we got half rice and half greens, some toppings, and the chicken thigh. This was a good amount for us to share and it was delicious! We also tried their date cake and my partner was a huge fan of it. I loved how clean the inside was and how nice all the staff was. They had water cups for self service and it was cold even without ice, which I loved! When you're done with your food, you put them away in a cabinet which is constantly cleaned out by staff which helped give the space a clean aesthetic. Like "let's take pictures before we eat because this patio belongs in a lifestyle magazine" gorgeous. Las Olas energy at its finest. The outdoor seating is fantastic, the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy, and honestly, the food was outstanding. Which is why this hurts. We came for Mother's Day brunch and intentionally avoided rushing over for happy hour pricing because we wanted a relaxed meal. Adult decision. Responsible. Mature. Mistake number one apparently. Started with the charred corn and avocado dip and I need whoever created that dish to be recognized with some sort of civic award. Ridiculously good. One of those appetizers where you immediately start calculating whether licking the bowl in public is socially acceptable. Then came the steak and eggs discussion. My wife and I were both looking at the steak and eggs listed on the menu for $26.75. Our waiter explained that the standard steak was only four ounces and casually suggested upgrading to a six ounce or eight ounce cut instead. Now listen carefully because this is where the plot twists into a financial thriller. At no point during this conversation was pricing for the upgrade mentioned. And shame on me for not asking. That part is absolutely on me. But the suggestion was delivered with the same casual energy as "would you like fries with that?" So I upgraded to the eight ounce. My wife went with the six ounce. She also had a margarita she loved. We skipped dessert because we were stuffed and, as it turns out, accidentally entering a luxury cattle futures market. Then the handheld payment machine arrived. $175. I stared at that screen like it had just informed me my mortgage was due immediately. Turns out those extra six ounces of sirloin between the two plates carried an upcharge that could finance a small fishing boat. Roughly ten dollars an ounce for the upgrade. Somewhere, a Wagyu cow laughed at me from a distance. And look, before anybody jumps in, yes... I should have asked. Lesson learned. But restaurants also know exactly what they're doing when upgrade pricing gets floated around casually without numbers attached. There's a difference between upselling and a sneak attack. Which makes this review frustrating because I genuinely loved almost everything else. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic. Service was friendly. But nothing tanks the ending of a brunch quite like feeling blindsided by steak math. Pro tip for future diners: If they suggest the upgraded steak, ask the price immediately. Ask twice. Possibly get it notarized. Three stars because I really do want to come back someday. But right now I still feel like I got hit with a reverse happy hour.
