Beryl is a gifted therapist. I've noticed that she can dig down and pinpoint the REAL problem, when I didn't even know it's what I needed. Unlike with other therapists I've been to, I feel like I've had a breakthrough with every session. I met Beryl a couple years ago when she introduced me to Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) and changed my life. I struggled with childhood trauma and grief for many years. In fourth grade I anxiously tried out for musical chorus. I could not wait to be apart of the group that I would hear singing so beautifully after lunch recess. The day for try outs came. I was so excited, nervous and happy to sing my heart out for the teacher. I heard my name get called... I approached the piano and as instructed belted out my finest. That was the last day I Ever Sing. I did not make fourth grade choir. Upon meeting Beryl (in a casual setting) we started talking about our love for music. I explained I don't sing and why. Immediately hearing this Beryl asked me if I would be open for some tapping exercises to relieve me of this and open up singing back into my life. We went through a few tapping exercises. In my mind I was truly questioning how a few taps here and there would afford me the opportunity to overcome the biggest sense of rejection and embarrassment I have ever experienced? A few days later I was driving in my car with my 3 year old. (She has only heard me sing the ABCs.) A song came on the radio and before I knew it I was singing along and out loud!!! I couldn't believe it. Then before I knew it my daughter began singing with me. Beryl is very knowledgeable in the realm of EFT, body health, stuck emotions, ailments and so much more. Her passion and beautiful intention to help people move forward is vibrant. I have been recovering for the last 10 years from a traumatic hiking fall with various long-lasting issues. Every session, when I shared what it was that I was struggling with, she was able to get right to the heart of the matter with insight and clarity. I often felt relieved by her ability to really hear me and concisely sum up what needed addressing. Although I was a tough case because there are so many aspects to the residuals I am working through, one of the greatest successes I can attest to is that I no longer have neck pain. My muscles get sore and/or tight sometimes but the message of 'pain' is no longer sent to my brain. I am able to stretch, apply ice/heat and/or see my chiropractor for quick resolution to any sore neck/shoulder muscles. Beryl is an awesome EFT practitioner, and I highly recommend her! My few sessions with her were powerfully effective, resolving two longtime traumas that had not budged for decades, despite lots of effort and a number of different modalities. I feel much lighter, and free to live without constantly remembering what happened back then, or having to worry about it happening again in the future. As a longtime user of EFT myself, I know that it works on its own, but with Beryl the effectiveness seems magnified. Beryl is amazing, kind and compassionate. She helped me in many ways, but specifically with trauma around the 2017 wildfires. I was experiencing phantom smoke smells and I would have high anxiety whenever a red flag warning was issued. In her process to resolving trauma, she is a professional at asking the right questions to trigger clarity, and bring relief to even the most paralyzing events that inhibit personal wellbeing. During our sessions, she is focused, and noticeably thorough. She leaves no stone unturned. She will make SURE you are feeling better about each aspect of a trauma before moving forward to clear the next aspect. To my surprise, after our very first session, a longstanding physical ailment I had cleared up. I was so embarrassed to tell her..painfully embarrassed. So to trust her with it and work through it in our session...and actually experience immediate results, I was floored. I had been to a plethora of physicians over the years and been told my ailment was common and to just manage it. After that first session and my surprising outcome, I knew she had the skill level in trauma work that I needed. Her compassion and humor have easily dismantled limiting beliefs for me, and deepened my feeling of empowerment.
