He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and insightful throughout the tour. He had so much joy and enthusiasm for the studio, and he made the experience amazing for me and my family. The museums had some really cool stuff like the Batman cars, the Friends set, and Sinners costumes. The only letdown was the very limited Harry Potter section, but overall it was a great experience. I see myself coming back again; I feel like there's still more to see.

A full Two hour guided tour riding around the back lot on a 15 passenger electric cart. Super knowledgeable driver / tour guide (Zack) talks you through the various backlot sets and sound stages with video presentations on the monitors mounted in the cart. There are several stops where you can get off to experience and hear details about shows and movies that used these specific sets. Very interesting seeing the building facades and landscaped grounds and the history of the studio. Our tour included a snack / continental breakfast and a lunch at the Friends Central Perk cafe restaurant. Both offered a decent selection of food and drink items. In the morning they served juices, coffee, tea, water, chips, cookies, danish to munch on before the tour started. Caveat is you only have 15 minutes to relax and enjoy before leaving for the tour. Lunch break happened at the end of our two hour guided tour. The tour package lunch included a hot or cold entree, side dish and drink. We were surprised at the selection and quality of the food. Various hot and cold sandwiches, salads, chips and a full selection of hot or cold, large or small coffee drinks. Even some blended coffee drinks. We ordered the hot Cuban sandwich, Cobb salad and a large iced coffee latte drink. The Cuban was hot but a little bit soggy but still tasty. Cobb salad super fresh and healthy. Coffee drink was solid with creamy topping. After lunch you begin the self guided portion of the tour which is inside stage 48? Where the restaurant was located. Film technology and costumes on display with various interactive display to participate. Harry Potter, Batman, Superman and other blockbuster movies artwork, costumes and videos on display. So much to discover. Easily spent 2 hours in there. Surprisingly they told us we also had entry into the Superman Experience. We did not know this was part of the tour. It is not mentioned in the marketing online. Unfortunately we ran out of time and had to skip this. Too bad as I think it is super popular. Regardless the tour was unexpectedly very entertaining and enjoyable. Weather was great not too hot. Highly recommended for folks looking for a break from the theme parks. Totally different in a good way from Universal Studio tour.

Good to be back at WB to be in another production that will air in the Fall…read more First time for me at the WB Ranch location. Can't talk about it, but it takes a lot of hard working talented people to pull off a new quality TV series. Special thanks to the staff that constantly cleaned the restrooms during the day so that whenever I used it--they looked like they were just cleaned. And the food service craft people that prepared for me a custom egg white omelet with veggies for breakfast and delicious baked chicken, broccoli and potatos for lunch to power my 13 hour day here. This location has a special place in my heart because it has the, "I Dream of Jeannie" house and Stage 31 where the "Partridge Family" was filmed--two of my favorite shows from the past. If you are coming here to work, parking right inside Gate 11 is plentiful and has a few large tree covered spots. Just down the block outside the Studio is: Western Bagel which opens very early in the morning, CVS, a Pizza Place, and 2 Gas Stations across the street with convenience stores.

Right near the heart of the WB lot, this museum usually rotate the props in and out every so often. I came here when they had a variety of items on the first floor, including their signature films and current TV shows. In 2014, in recognition of the 75th anniversary of Batman, the entire first floor now features costumes and props from all the Batman films, from the Chris Nolan trilogy to the older films featuring Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer (remember him? hehe). What has also changed is that they now allow cameras and photos to be taken. Before the Batman anniversary, you would have to store your camera and purse in their complimentary lockers before perusing the museum. Now, pictures are welcomed (though I think flash is frowned upon). The entire second floor is still devoted to Harry Potter, down to the working Sorting Hat that will place you in one of the 4 houses in Hogwarts. You get to sit on a stool in front of everyone and the hat is placed on your head as it muses where to sort you. I got placed in Gryffindor! :) Given the choice (I've visited both as part of the VIP tour and with a guest pass), I definitely liked visiting on my own since the VIP tour gives you about 15 minutes to go through both floors -- not enough time! When I was here to view the new first floor of Batman items, at least 3 tour groups went through the museum in the time I was here (you can hear the tour leader holler out the name of the group to get them rounded up to the golf cart).

They will guide you in once they are ready to take the audience. Majority of the audience were all out of states. You will then wait again in the studio. It is the same studio Ellen show used to be. You can purchase Jennifer Hudson items at the gift shop area while you wait. Make sure to bring snacks or eat prior to coming to the show. They have vending machines outside the venue. I had a great time and enjoyed the being part of the show. I also attended other channel shows in the 80s and 90s. It's something different and for fun.

I also saw where William Holden's character fell in love with a fellow screenwriter in the movie Sunset Boulevard. We also saw some amazing props from the Transformers, Terminator, and Star Trek movies. For fans of The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston, we saw where the Red Sea parting scene was shot. My wife and I also got to hold a real Oscar for the 1953 movie War of the Worlds. And I sat on the Forrest Gump bench. Only seven people maximum can go on any one tour -- on a small cart --- so the feeling is personal (vs. being on a bus). My wife and I also went on the Warner Bros and Universal Studios tours. We thought this was the best studio tour. The tour itself was a little over 2 hours. (For parking, we found free parking on a side street across from the studio. Otherwise, we would have paid $20 to park in the studio's lot.)
