I mean, a lot can go wrong at any buffet, let alone a meat centered one. Well, much to my surprise the meat wasn't all that bad. Yes, some were a little dry but it's a buffet, if you don't like it, you don't really feel that bad about not eating it. In my opinion the only thing that wasn't edible was the last entree, the chicken heart. It was just too muscular for my liking. The best meat by far was the beef. I am SO picky when it comes to beef. I just don't really care for it unless it's seasoned/marinated well and cooked perfectly medium rare. I did not expect to like it but I absolutely loved it! Now, if I were to rate this placed based solely on the food, I'd probably rate it a 3- however, the waiters and the entire staff here were so friendly and welcoming (a rarity as I've noticed in Germany) that it made the dinner entertaining and even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend trying this place. It's an experience and decent food for a pretty good deal.

Villa Rodizio may meet the standards of the locals but having eaten other places similar to this I don't recommend to those visiting Berlin. This restaurant caters to more of the locals but having pallet. The server that brought our meat was also cleaning our table and others. He was all smiles the entire time. He is busting his butt off and doing well at his job with the best attitude you can ask for.

Longer version (for the brave) - after getting a tip about this place from our lovely CM Anne, I had to try out this place, I've tried twice and it was closed or closing, but this time I made it! Got here with a friend whose a big açai fan, almost as much as I am, and I still have the taste of the bowls of Brazil on my tongue. So this place has the Brazilian vibes with a Berliner style. Vintage furniture and lack of connection between the items - but my biggest problem is that there's no atmosphere in this place. Also, the service was weird- it felt like they were open, but weren't too eager on having costumers. And now for the main issue- Açai, a proper one, served in a bowl, with some bananas on top. The only thing that was missing for me is the granola on top like they serve back in Brazil. The texture was thick, and very purple- definitely a treat! Once we were done we went paying - 5.60 for a bowl, that's quite a lot. If you put the service and the price aside this place would get 5 stars for sure. But you should try it, at least once :)

This is the dish for those who want to meet a month's worth of recommend daily allowance for sodium in one sitting. The chicken I could use to make icy roads safer in winter. The beans were less salty. But still a sodium lover's dream. Even the rice succumbed to the salty siren song. No flavor could fight it's way to the taste buds through that assalt (had to do that, sorry). Thank God for the salad. That was kind of a safe space for healthy eating. The salt thing can be fixed easily. That was really the only problem. Service was great and the staff are super nice--salt of the Earth kind of folks (had to do that, too). The atmosphere is also superb in more ways than one; No smoking inside. Cozy place with great live music which is too loud. The place is so small, you have to go outside to change your mind. Why then, do you need to amplify anything and why so loud? Go for drinks, bring earplugs and have a very nice time surrounded by very nice staff.
