As such, I tend to be pretty repulsed by most wedding videos. All I can see is shaky tripod, superbad zooming, poorly considered lighting, weird jump cuts (we were just at the ceremony, now were dancing, I don't understand). Most of it is just so bad. FLASHBACK: Younger, more cynical JULIE rolls eyes and yawns watching an acquaintance's wedding video. I've never even thought I would want to have a wedding video done, because I dislike them so. (CUE MOURNFUL FIDDLE) Which is sad, because I think these recorded memories are the best gift you can give yourself, the best gift you can give your kids, and their kids. A film person who would choose not to document the most important day of my life. Sad.
