Where to start.... went here on a Monday night, was seated promptly. The wait staff was very friendly. I ordered the 3 crisp taco beef #23... i figured i would stay with the traditional as a reference. For me the flavor was a bit off, and very surprised at the amount of grease in these tacos.... not sure i would order these again... My daughter ordered the soft tacos, hers were just as greasy as mine. The wife got the chicken fajitas and she really liked them. Sadly I didn't snap pics of my visit. The portion sizes were appropriate and the taste of it all was surprisingly fresh...I went in close to 9pm. I got the taco dinner. It came with 2 tacos, rice, beans, salsa and chips. I stuffed my face because I'd been craving Mexican. The location is great. Just off Highway 31 in Pelham...in the Sam's shopping center as The Foundry Thrift Store. I'd definitely say give this place a shot. The folks are friendly too. read more

What a gem and hole in the wall!!!! In a rush last night, no time to cook and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Well low and behold, it happened! But only for a to go order.... Ordered a TON of food (which I will list separately) and the response, the time and turn around was amazing! Food was still even hot and fresh when we made it home. ****Prices are super friendly also**** Chips and Salsa- Nothing out of the ordinary for me, but chips were definitely fresh! Queso-This was some of the best I have EVER and I mean EVER HAD!!! Hands down. Kids Chicken Quesadilla Meal with Rice and Beans (lets just say my son scarfed it down whole) Fried Chimichanga- WOW! Thats all you need to know in a good way. I personally had the 3 chicken enchiladas with guacamole salad and an extra bowl of rice. They were amazing to say the least. Salad was typical. Rice came in a side container the size of mars and was scrumptious! Perfect blend of spices and veggies. Needless to say, we had way more food than what we thought for sure, especially for the price. Can't say anything for the atmosphere because of the to go order. Will definitely be back soon for a sit down lunch and actually be able to look over menu more. This was our first time at Taqueria Garibaldi! We were in the area and hungry, as usual! Saw 4.5 stars on Yelp and decided to check out this place! From the outside, it looked small and uneventful! However, the inside was gorgeous, cozy little place! We ordered chicken fajitas and vegetable quesadilla! The chicken was juicy and delicious! Quesadilla had onions, peppers, tomatoes, and cheese! So so Mexican food. I had read the reviews and they were mostly good, so i decided to give it a go since I was visiting family in Pelham. I had the combination plate of a quesadilla, enchilada, and tamale. The quesadilla was good, and the enchilada was good with the sauce but the tamale flavor lacked salt. Altogether the three items would've been a lot more flavorful with just a little salt. I love their salsa though. Nice and fresh and chunky. Just a regular Mexican food place, nothing special. If I want Mexican and I'm in the area I would go back. But I won't drive far to get to it. read more

Last night was my second time to eat here. Let me start by saying I am not a fan of typical Americanized Mexican food. It's typically low quality ingredients coated in sloppy sauces and toppings. But give me a good authentic taco and I'm pretty happy. That exactly how it goes here. The Mexican tacos are very good. I had the chorizo and carnitas. The carnitas was tender and flavorful, with simple toppings (onions and cilantro) the chorizo was very flavorful and add a bit of their house-made hot sauce and it will wake up your senses. Now I tried something off the "traditional" menu, the chalupa Giribaldi, and it was very disappointing. It was essentially a hard shell taco, broken and covered in beans, guacamole and lettuce. This is a great example of lazy Americanized Mexican. I give them a kind four because the tacos were legit and the service was incredibly friendly and accommodating! read more

Decided to give our usual Habaneros a break and opted to check out this smaller, unassuming Mexican restaurant and it exceeded our expectations. Service was friendly and fast... Warm chips and some delicious homemade-like salsa with lots of fresh cilantro quickly arrived on the table. The menu offers a wide variety of great choices but we decided to keep it simple with "Berta's " Nachos (with chicken) and the grilled chicken quesadilla with peppers and onions. It's not spectacular, but it's festively decorated and blends into the background. Sometimes I feel that it could be a bit darker in there. SERVICE: The best server in the world works here! His name is Fidel and he has been my server for almost 9 years! (Here and at another restaurant). Fidel will never let my glass become empty, he anticipates my needs before I even think about asking. 4/1/17 visit Doesn't look like much inside or out but their food is really good Chips and salsa were no surprise but the fajitas were really great. It was a good sized portion with good seasoning and cooked well. The side plate of guacamole, rice, beans, lettuce and sour cream needed more but the seasoning made up for it. Service was good and attentive. Sang to my friend in Spanish for her birthday and it was a nice touch. Their large margaritas are served in huge mugs and were delicious as well. Some of THE BEST Mexican food you've ever had! The homemade drinks are the best! Great atmosphere

We only found this nice little Mexican restaurant back last year (2019). I guess we overlooked it down near the end of the shopping center. When we went there last, I got the combination that has a quesadilla (I get a mushroom quesadilla most of the time), a soft chicken taco and a chicken enchilada. My mushroom quesadilla is always excellent. The chicken in the taco and the enchilada is tender and very tasty. My husband most always gets the combination that has 2 tacos with rice and beans. He says that the taco shells have a bit of an oily texture that he says is great. The rice and beans are of the quality that you would expect from a good Mexican restaurant. The salsa is very tasty. It has cilantro, small chunks of tomato, and small pieces of onion in it. The chips are usually warm when they bring them to you and they are crunchy and good. The cheese dip is great. It always runs out to quickly. read more

Decent Mexican food which isn't saying much as its the same old tired and generic recipe of things wrapped in tortillas, chips and salsa, rice and beans. The margaritas here have a bright green color to them like Mountain Dew or Mad Dog 20/20 kiwi flavor and they don't taste so great. The prices were on the higher side for a strip mall Mexican joint. I probably wouldn't be motivated to return here but if you must have Mexican and are nearby it will do the trick. read more

Wow. Good Service. I was semi greeted by a hostess who was sitting down when I walked up and sat in a booth fairly quickly. My server was quick to my table to grab my expensive drink order, one Texas Margarita. Then returned a moment's later to let me order my meal. Food was quickly delivered hot and seemed fresh. Came here for lunch with a friend. They weren't too busy on our arrival but it seemed like a few minutes before they acknowledged and us. They took us all the way to the back by their supply room. The waitress was attentive but not overly friendly. After reading some really good reviews I was expecting fantastic food. The chips and salsa were decent, but hotter than I am used to. If you're sensitive to spice, beware. My friend ordered some guac dip which was actually really good. I ordered the steak fajitas. Food was decent but not a lot of flavor which I expected from a fajita. Prices were decent but overall, I might stick with Habaneros in the future. read more
