We quickly stopped in for a quick bite and drink. By quick I mean we were in and out in under 20 min. We took advantage of their happy hour and got the movie nachos. It was just a cup of melty cheese and jalapeños, pretty spot on for movie nachos, they weren't great but they were only $3! My boyfriend really liked his mezcal mule as well! read more

Not overly impressed! Atmosphere Is decent and they have a good drink menu and were poured well. The food was okay but nothing great. We had a group of four. Split Nachos as an app. We all ordered different tacos and I had the Burrito. Portion sizes are on the small size, prices are a little on the expensive side. Tacos lacked fillings / Toppings. We frequent lacrosse quite often and have never been here yet. Walking in it was a very inviting and warm atmosphere. Great food menu, our group had a wide variety of everything . I don't normally get flights of tequila, but we did here. The bartenders are VERY helpful and informative of how to describe everything. Our food came out fast and absolutely delicious. I have pictures of some of the food but apologies we were so hungry I forgot to reference what we ordered. The decor of the restaurant is so unique and tasteful. That was the first thing we liked. Most of us had drinks, I thoroughly enjoyed the frozen peach/apricot margarita. Our server, Alex, was friendly and attentive through our time there. We had the sampler chip plate and the ground beef nachos while others in our group had street tacos. Favorite street tacos were the French Onion and the Pork. The food was fabulous. We will come back again and spread the word, because this is a place that needs to stay. read more

All you can eat gringo tacos (ground beef) for $15!! I mean - can't beat that!! My husband will eat about 15 of them. I usually opt for a few of the duck or carnitas tacos even though they are a bit more expensive. The last time we were there we got a few free rounds of margaritas too!!! We sampled most of the chip and dip options - all delicious especially the Pato nachos and queso with street corn. Creative tacos, too. The peach and apricot frozen Margaritas were great. The service was fine. The food was terrible and not anything like it was last summer. Traditional guacamole was weirdly oily and bland. It also was no longer green when served. We all had different tacos and all were bad -- no spark, no flavor, and all a wet mess. Conversation was impossible due to loud music. Never again. read more

As a preface, in general, I hate when people mess with a good thing, and I freaking love tacos. But, this was awesome. As a vegetarian, I was suspect, but the flavors were bold and delicious, and they all went so well together!! They were hearty and it was so obvious how much thought went into how to balance the flavors. I'm not surprised given the attention to detail the owner is known for...and true to form, this is another win for Erik and his team. Great job!! Their interior decorator made this space super inviting...the decor is so fun, the tables are fantastic, the art around the room was interesting, the lighting, the yarn on the wall, it was all just so well done. This is now my new pitstop every time I have to leave Minnesota and drive east. There are a lot of restaurants in this immediate area but if you want something thoughtful, exciting, and just downright delicious, this is the spot. Oh, and they have tequila and, my favorite, lots of different kinds of Mezcal, which I will have to try the next time I stop by. read more

This past weekend was my first time eating here. The traditional Mexican atmosphere was cool- very colorful! I was excited to see the menu since I really like Mexican food. I was disappointed because the choices were pretty sparse- this is authentic Mexican food of which I personally don't care for. Only one flavor choice for margaritas & daiquiris. On the positive side- the service was good. We were checked on quite often. In summary- this place wasn't for me but it was pretty busy so other people must enjoy it. read more

Pato Azul offers a great variety of Mexican American food. Each meal is handcrafted with love and care! We enjoy their homemade hot sauces, the "IYKYK" which is an elote dog, and the nachos are to die for. Service is more than we could ask for. The bartender we have often is great and will make us cocktails based on our preference. Overall this restaurant has a lot to offer. Highly recommend!! read more
