I visited this restaurant alone and had a pretty good experience overall. I ordered the veggie enchiladas, which were delicious. However, the server forgot to give me a fork, so I ended up eating with a spoon that was in the beans--no big deal. The waitress was very nice, and the interior of the restaurant was clean and comfortable. The place was pretty empty, with only about two tables occupied, but everything seemed fine until I discovered that I was charged **seven times** for the veggie enchiladas. Not the kind of surprise you want to wake up to! I've already contacted my bank about it. My advice: bring cash just in case. read more

I've been a few times and the staff is always extremely welcoming and friendly. They have different specials depending on the day. I went on a Thursday and they had $3 beers and $3 Queso (the queso was so delicious) They have happy hour from 3-6 M-F with some really good specials on there too! I ordered the street mini tacos de asada and the Taquitos de Papa from the Happy Hour menu. They were both tasty. Ugh I hate leaving reviews that are not 4 or more stars. But to be honest this place deserves less, but since they were all so nice and I could tell they were trying I think 3 stars is still okay. I ordered the vegetarian chilaquiles on the menu. They accidentally gave me the beef version. I told them that I couldn't eat it and they apologized and took the plate directly from our table to the table right next to us. This is a big no-no in the food industry. Once you give a customer food, you can't take it back and give it to another customer- it's a sanitary thing. Needless to say the other customer refused the plate and asked for a new one. They later came back with my 'vegetarian' chilaquiles. Unfortunately I saw that the refried beans contained large chunks of hot dogs in it. I asked why the vegetarian dish came with hotdogs and the waitress said she didn't know and said that is usually how it comes. I was surprised. If the people at this restaurant don't understand that you cannot serve hotdogs on a vegetarian dish - they probably could be serving beef broth or lard jn their 'vegetarian' dishes as well which is not good. The reason why it is not good is because vegetarian and vegan people have a completely different gut biome compared to those that digest meat. When we accidentally eat meat, because our gut is not used to it, we can get really sick. And by sick I mean diarrhea. I would not go to this place again unfortunately and I would also not advise any of my veggie homies to go here either. That being said, I bet this place would be great for individuals that are not vegetarian and do not have any dietary restrictions. The ambiance really is super cute. read more

Went with a group of 6, and was attended to twice by our actual server... which was when she took & brought our drinks. Awesome place! So I saw this place on social media. I did a day trip with my bestie and husband. We hit up a few local stops before coming here. Be warn if you park in the lot that's on front it's 20 dollars. There is street parking starting at 2 dollars. I saved my money to spend it inside. Pink decorations everywhere! We had the Tinga de pollo tacos, pechoga de pollo avocado and shrimp ceviche to eat. The tacos and chicken dish were super yummy and big portions for the size. The ceviche was not for use, not much shrimp and tasted sweet. It was also small and pricier then a dinner plate. We got the peach lemonade and pink lemonade to drink and they were both very tasty. Alright, so this was definitely the most pink theme Mexican joint I visited during my time in Austin. My friend heard about this place and wanted to give it a try. When we arrived here, we heard that their parking lot was about $20, so we parked across the street for a few dollars. When you get there, everything is pink. Soon as you walk inside the building, you are around pink everything including some fancy lights they had along with many fake flowers on the ceiling that made it look really nice. The place was very clean and fit the theme perfectly. We were seated very quickly, and the waitress was able to get our order just as fast. I decided to order 'Actin Kinda Shady' that you can get these cute glasses with (you can buy the drink without the glasses to save money if you like) and gotta say, was not disappointed. It tasted great to me, and the glasses were not little cheap ones like I expected. I really liked them and am glad I got them as a souvenir. Would definitely get this drink again. My friend got the 'high maintenance watermelon margarita' in a baggie, which wasn't too bad either. We had ordered an appetizer, and the chips really were pink. They tasted fresh, and I liked the dip it came with. It definitely had all kinds of flavors in the dip. They also gave these tortillas on the side too. They were not as pink as I would expected (an attempt to dye them pink) but tasted fine to me. Now, for my food, I ordered tacos Dorado, and they piled on the toppings for sure. They definitely were pink as well, and everything tasted good to me. Loved the rice too and usually not a fan of them. They also had a few vegetarian options if you're interested in which my friend ordered. They looked very nice and though she expected them to be more pink still enjoyed them. I almost didn't come here because of some of the reviews. Boy, am I glad I did! From the exceptional service we got, to the beautiful look of the place, to the delicious food and drinks, we had an absolutely fabulous experience here. To start out, the place is a pink/flower lover's dream come true. It was so beautiful. They thought of every detail. We took more pictures here than in the rest of our trip to Austin combined. It was absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully designed. Besides how great it looked, the ambiance was made even better by the bumping music. We could have had a twerk fest in the restaurant, that music was so good. Kudos to the DJ! Aside from the atmosphere, the service rocked. We all loved our server so much. He was so accommodating. Less than one star.I made a reservation here expecting a fun night out, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When we arrived, the staff tried to seat us outside in August in Texas without mentioning it at the time of booking. If I had known that "reserved seating" meant being stuck in sweltering heat, I never would have booked. Transparency on that detail is really important. On top of that, the atmosphere wasn't what we expected. The place markets itself as a spot for bachelorette parties, which is fine, but the staff seemed more interested in mimicking and mocking the parties than actually providing good service. It felt unprofessional and uncomfortable rather than celebratory. For the prices they charge, I expected much better hospitality and honesty. Visited Austin for a day trip from Houston and wanted to try something new! We ended up finding this place through Yelp and decided to stop by! First impressions: The parking is a little interesting. You have to pay for parking, which I do not mind, however, when you get up to the waiting area to sign in, they tell you "oh it will be an hour wait". So we had to add another hour just to sit in the parking lot. Again, not a bad deal breaker, just something to consider. The outside and inside of the restaurant is really nice and aesthetically pleasing! Service: Servers and staff were very friendly! Everyone was super nice, from the host, to the servers and bar staff. We got all our food in good timing as well! Food: I got the Arranchera Asada! This actually hit soooooo good! We had such a disappointing experience at Taquero Mucho. Our bridal party was ready to eat, ready to celebrate, and ready to make memories with the bride to be, but instead the restaurant chose to refuse service. I had never experienced this level of disregard before. There was a small misunderstanding about the reservation, but rather than being solution oriented or considerate of their guests, the staff was rude and dismissive. The manager didn't even have the professionalism to face us and instead sent the waitress to communicate that they were refusing service. I've never been to Taquero Mucho but have always seen posts about it. I knew it was definitely an Instagram worthy place but I didn't know if their food was actually good. Well everyone, it is. The tacos I got were marinated pork topped with salsa tomatillo, picked onions, and grilled pineapple on a pink corn tortilla. When arriving, we added our name to the waitlist and they said it would be about 30-45 min wait. At this point, due to our day not going as planned, we were starving. We decided to go to the restaurant next door to have a small snack to hold us over. Our table was ready sooner than we expected and we just received our appetizer like 5 minutes prior. Long story short, we boxed our food (I didn't want to waste it or waste money) and rushed out of there as they only hold the table for 5 minutes. Upon arriving, I was told that I couldn't bring the leftovers box in. I thought this was weird and I wouldn't have minded, but it's not about what you say, it's how to say it. My 6 coworkers and I went here for happy hour last week. It was an INTERESTING experience. The restaurant is truly the cutest and definitely for the instagram influencers. It's literally pink everywhere! We were the only table in the restaurant but the server wouldn't let us bring our small luggage inside and told us we can leave it outside on the patio and watch it through the window?! When the appetizers came to our table we asked for saucers. The server came back to our table 2x before providing us with dirty saucers. Yes, all of the saucers were dirty!! The service in general was inconsistent and made us feel like we shouldn't ask for anything. The beef tacos and mango margarita I ordered were good especially for the happy hour deal. I had ordered a Paloma and the choriqueso (queso dip with chorizo on top). The drink was a little strong and the queso was more filling than expected. I was surprised that the chips were also pink.
