First off Royce our server was an absolute doll! The upbeat happy energy that he radiates is enough to make anyone's day. Meddie was a sweetheart too. Really knew the food and did an amazing job of explaining all the questions I had on the menu. Sarah the owner was the nicest most down to earth woman. One of those people you probably love working for. So nice. Okay onto the food!! We ordered the breadstick platter with the meatballs and crab cakes and HOLY COW! To die for! The Crabcakes were made with hearts of palm.. totally blew normal crabcakes out of the water ..and the meatballs had such a mouthwatering flavor I wish I could have a whole plate of meatballs. The bruschetta Was cooked perfectly I've been to restaurants that have bread so hard it cuts the roof of your mouth but these were perfectly baked!! The best Vegan restaurant I've visited thus far. "NO" seed oils other than avocado and olive oil are used during the cooking process. I ordered the sampler, which consisted of Plant Crab Cakes, Zucchini Sticks, Meatballs, Bruschetta and Garlic Bread Sticks. I also ordered three main entrees, which were the Taste of Tarantinos, Oyster Scallops in white wine sauce and the Papa Steve Special. All of the dishes were absolutely amazingly delicious, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The flavor profile of each was spectacular and would rival any similar non-plant based meal. My server, Lu was outstanding. Not only was she knowledgeable about the health benefits of eating vegan she shared a bit of her personal journey in the food space and her passion for vegan food. We started with the Sampler featuring garlic bread, vegan crab cakes, vegan meatballs, bruschetta, and fried zucchini. Perfect for sharing and trying a little bit of everything. Tarantino's Vegan is a magnificent vegan restaurant located on Rainbow and Windmill near Mesa Verde. You'll find them next to La Luna Dessert Tea & Dessert Bar. There's ample parking. Inside is dimly lit and beautifully decorated with flowers, plants, night lights, and soothing guitar music playing in the background, it's very romantic. I was listening to an instrumental version of the theme song Friends, "I'll be there for you," and The Chainsmokers & Coldplay "Something just like this," both sound great! I love their choice of music, they make the atmosphere feel inviting and alive. Menu offers a nice selection of antipasto, zuppa e insalate, panini, entrees, signature pastas, signature pizzas, and assorted desserts like cheesecakes and pastries. For refreshments, they have white wine, red wine, and beers. Everything on the menu is plant based and they have a gluten-free menu as well! I tried a sweet treat for Cannoli Pistachio ($8), absolutely delicious! It has a delightful exterior crisp with a creamy sweet mascarpone filling composed of organic cashews, tofu, organic sugar, and flavored with crushed pistachios, it's very light, not too sweet, and superb! Other cannoli flavors are chocolate chips and cherry. They also have tiramisu, lemon blueberry muffin, berry tart, and napoleon. I asked Meddie if they have Vegan Meatballs and they do! They are so nice to accommodate. Housemade Meatballs ($6) is amazingly flavorful, savory, and excellent! It comes in four pieces, served hot with a slight crisp exterior. Meatball is composed of TVP soy protein, cannelini navy beans, lentils, served in a delightful marinara, and melted mozzarella made of potatoes, lentils, coconut, so good! My coworker doesn't eat beef or pork, and always gets stuck ordering "the chicken dish" at restaurants. So we searched for a place off the strip that she could have anything on the menu. Tarantino's was very highly rated and the reviews looked great. It was about a 20 minute Lyft ride and well worth it. This place is a cozy little neighborhood joint with what appeared to be a loyal local clientele. We ordered the Sampler ($22) and this had plenty of delicious bites. Breadsticks, zucchini sticks, meatballs, bruschetta and crab cakes. Everything is vegan. I don't like crab cakes so didn't try those but everything else was very tasty. I got the Gnocchi with spicy "sausage" ($23) and a Caesar side salad ($6). I should have ordered the gnocchi without the sausage because the sausage had a weird flavor. The gnocchi was good enough without it plus it had dollops of yummy cashew ricotta. The Caesar was fresh and flavorful. Of course we had to try a bunch of desserts. We split a Pistachio Cannoli ($8) to eat right away and then took cheesecake slices To Go. My cheesecake was the Lemon Blueberry ($10). I'm not sure what they make this with but it's a little dense, and not in a good way. Of course I still ate it because I'm a pig. I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant. I recently transitioned from vegetarian to vegan, and I've been dearly missing certain foods that usually just don't taste the same, like pizza and pancakes. I didn't know this while I was dining, but I wasn't surprised to find out later that this spot is ranked among the top 10 best vegan restaurants in the country! Everything from the ambiance to the service to the food was top-tier. Our waiter greeted us warmly and seated us relatively quickly despite the restaurant being packed. Once we were settled, he gave us a great overview of the menu: everything is plant-based, they use high-quality ingredients, and they even avoid seed oils due to their link to inflammation. They also have a full gluten-free menu available for those with further dietary restrictions. The menu itself is phenomenal, featuring a large variety of Italian dishes and a brunch menu with pancakes. We ordered the Mascarpone Pancakes and the Ultimate Margherita Pizza. I genuinely would not have been able to tell these were vegan. The pizza was INCREDIBLE--tasting just as good as, if not better than, any "traditional" pizza I've ever had. I would come back regularly just for that pizza alone. The portions were quite large, so we didn't have room this time, but I'd love to come back to try the vegan cheesecake or tiramisu. I also had a chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly friendly. She mentioned they are hoping to open more locations soon. I'm praying they open one in Texas! Approaching 700 reviews with a perfect 5 star Yelp rating. There is no misteak (pun intended, to the shagrin of spellcheck) here. Though I am not a full-fledged vegan, I thoroughly enjoy vegan restaurants. And they are increasing in numbers, just as wine/alcohol consumption and smoking pecentages continue to plummet. Tarantino's is outstanding, and were you not told, you would not suspect their delicious cuisine was entirely plant-based. Cloth napkins and excellent service by Adrienne only enhanced a near-perfect meal. Sadly, the strawberry cheesecake was so exquisite that it did not survive long enough to be pictured. This place was awesome! My daughter and I were visiting Vegas for the BTS show. My daughter is vegan, I am vegetarian with vegan tendencies and it's always very difficult for us to find good places when traveling that accommodate us. But even if you're not plant based, I highly recommend this place just for the super filling food that feels comforting. We tried the chicken parm, lasagna, fettuccini Alfredo, sampler appetizer, margarita pizza, meat lovers pizza and the steak. By far our favorites were the chicken parm and the margarita pizza. We couldn't believe how the steak pulled like real meat and did enjoy it! The service was very good, the dessert case looked incredible although we did not get any. A little late to this review, oops. It also had taken me way too long to finally visit Tarantino Vegan to begin. I have been getting their e-mails for maybe a year. LOL! And even on this past visit, it was only for take-out. But with that, I believe Tarantino Vegan to be somewhere between a 4 and 5 on the Yelp scale. A solid, very great 4 though....a peppery moment may have been the deal breaker (a minor infraction really). Even for takeout, the food was absolutely delicious. Crab cakes and the "Taste of Tarantino's" platter of sorts came home with me during this visit....so I could sample a variety and also have leftovers. Crab cakes were delicious and the chicken Alfredo was too. The eggplant parm was layered beautifully and would have been spot on, but it was a way too peppery for my taste (and I love pepper, so that gives you the idea of how much pepper was on it). The pepper killed the presentation. It was strange and I was not expecting it. Maybe a one time slip for my order, maybe peppery parmesan is their thing here, but not a deal breaker in any way. Although the decorative attempt of old school Italian minimalist is not really my jam, the ambiance is cozy, charming, intimate. Go for lunch or bring a date, either option vibes here. Along that line of ambiance and feel, Royce who was assisting me set the tone of customer service, charm, hospitality and gratitude. Is he the owner? Is he the main manager? Is he just a host? I am not sure, but regardless, he exudes what excellent hospitality should look and feel like especially here in Las Vegas. Hats off to Royce for making a good impression on me that has lasted and I was only in the restaurant for maybe 15 minutes to place a take-out order. But as I have said countless times, a Yelp review to me is often about so much more than the food, it is the whole experience from parking to bathrooms. Kudos Royce, you are a delight and make me want to return. Tarantino's Vegan does such a good job sending e-mails reminding me to visit, which I personally like to be reminded, because this restaurant is not actually close to me in the valley. I understand why Tarantino's is a popular vegan destination, they truly wow'd me (an omnivore) with their creativity in some dishes. The "crab" cakes on the appetizer sampler in particular stand out as memorable and tasty as well as my entree, the pesto pasta with a "chicken" cutlet. Yummy! The service was so friendly and welcoming at Tarantino's as well. While I enjoyed everything I ate, my group wasn't crazy about their entrees. I tried bites of each and they tasted over salted to me. Also, the desserts we ordered were hit-or-miss. The baklava was some of the best I've ever tasted while the tiramisu was disappointing. Having a dairy allergy, this restaurant offers an all dairy free menu. So far the lasagna is my favorite dish. The lasagna tastes just like the non vegan lasagna. I'm not a vegan, but I do appreciate when vegan food tastes somewhat close to the non vegan food. Italian food is generally the food I avoid because of the heavy use of dairy. This restaurant offers many Italian dishes that I have been missing over the past couple of years. I tried the spicy Cajun chicken pizza. I loved everything about the pizza except for the chicken. No one called back and when I called back, they stated they would give me a partial refund. They didn't offer to remake the pizza or even a full refund. They stated they couldn't refund the delivery because of the third-party order, but they didn't even refund the entire cost of the burned pizza they sent. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with this order and never got a chance to actually enjoy the vegan pizza as other parts of the pizza was dried with no cheese on the actual pizza. I was SHOCKED at how good and how filling the food was at Tarantino's in Las Vegas yesterday. I randomly stumbled upon it after looking for gluten-free options on Google Maps after a radiology appointment on a side of town I'm not typically at. (Make sure you write reviews on Google maps mentioning celiac and gluten-free so that we can find businesses that support us!) Their menu is vegan but they also have a separate gluten-free menu and a separate, dedicated fryer! I had the $33 gluten-free Taste of Tarantino's, which came with your choice of chik'n or eggplant parmesan, plus roto di zucchini and spaghetti alfredo. I also ordered a $10 slice of their gluten-free vegan seasonal cheesecake in the strawberry shortcake flavor. I've been to Italy prior to my celiac diagnosis. I cook with dairy at home - this was indistinguishable from real dairy. It tasted fantastic. I was so full I had to get a to-go box for both my main dish and my dessert. Atmosphere: Snug, homespun, rustic. Beige brick wall, wood furnishings, greenery, and pastry cases. Place seemed popular for both dine-in and take out. The majority of the tables were four-tops. Music was instrumental covers ranging from the Beatles to Taylor Swift. Restaurant makes a point to explain no seed oils are used, only oils from the likes of olives, avocado, or coconut. Also, vegan. There was a separate gluten-free menu as well. Ordered Organic Bubbly Italian Soda Cucumber ($5): Free refills! Lots of carbonation, good fresh cucumber flavor. Garlic Breadsticks ($14): Six puffy spindles, piping hot, good tearapart texture. Came with marinara and Alfredo sauce. Had takeaway. Classic Mac and Cheez ($18): Acceptable amount of short tubes in a pale orange sauce and topped with shredded cheese. Definite nut taste. Unusual. Came with a piece of crusty bread. Had takeaway. Both the Breadsticks and pasta were marked with the nut symbol on the menu indicating the incorporation of cashews. Napoleon ($12, but charged for $10 Tiramisu instead, something I didn't catch at the time): Meddie was nice enough to alert me that my initial dessert choice of the Tiramisu had just come out of the cooler so was more of the consistency of ice cream. Switched to the Napoleon. Large piece, layers very flaky, the kind that gets everywhere. Delicious "cream" which also had migratory tendencies. Good crunch contrast from the pistachios. Tasty. Value: Above average; prices are rather high, but I guess healthy and alternative sourcing and prep are expensive. Receipt contained the notice that credit card payments incur a 3% charge plus sales tax. I am just mindblown. Everything was excellent here and the service was superb. It's a cute little restaurant in a shopping plaza and we got lucky to get there when it wasn't too busy. We ordered the bruschetta trio, the lasagna, the eggplant parm and the steak bernaise. Every single dish was wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. One guy was even told to come back in 20. I would've appreciated being told that versus feeling disrespected and ignored. My issue, however, is that the restaurant hours posted here on Yelp and elsewhere online state that they are open until 10:00PM on Friday on Saturday. When I arrived a wee past 9:00PM on a Friday night, I was told that it was to go only. Not the end of the world, but when you travel all the way over from the far away land of nitty gritty East Las Vegas - and with the anticipation of being able to enjoy dining in - it was a bit of a disappointment. They should note online that after 9:00PM is pick-up only. Further, while the wait staff seemed polite, it also felt a little strained. I could guess as to why, but it would only be a guess....or maybe more of a hunch? In case you're wondering, no, I did not throw a fit nor did I huff and puff. Cute, cozy and tasty all vegan Italian restaurant in Las Vegas. We had the Vegan Chk'n Parm and it was outstanding, phenomenal, the best! We also had the tiramisu dessert and at first, the exterior part wasn't as moist, but after a couple bites it got there. Still delicious. We went on a Friday night and they were busy. Tarantino's Vegan Restaurant was an absolute gem. The food is 100% organic, incredibly flavorful, and feels light and nourishing--especially because they don't use any seed oils. You can truly taste the care and quality in every bite. Meddie, the host, was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. He not only helped us choose great dishes but also shared thoughtful recommendations about the area and places to visit, which made the experience even more special. The whole atmosphere felt like being at home--warm, cozy, and genuinely inviting. It's the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Every time I come to Las Vegas, this will be a must-stop for me. It's truly an incredible place. The desserts were also delicious. We enjoyed our meal so much that we didn't even have time to take photos of the food, but we did grab desserts to go and enjoyed them the next morning for breakfast--absolutely worth it. Best Vegan food I've ever had. Must try place if this is what you eat. I've only had Vegan food a few times, but our friend who is Vegan brought over take out from Tarantino's and I wouldn't even guess it was Vegan if she didn't tell me. I had the rotolo di zucchini, and it was so rich with the Vegan cheese and sauce, it was such a great dish! I was also able to try the spinach and artichoke dip, which was also amazing! I am excited to have their food again, maybe in restaurant this time and I'm sure it'll be even better! They seemed to get 3 dinners prepared very quickly for pick up as well.
