Located on Rainbow and Windmill near Mesa Verde, next to La Luna Tea and Dessert Bar

Tarantino's Vegan is a magnificent vegan restaurant located on Rainbow and Windmill near Mesa Verde. You'll find them next to La Luna Dessert Tea & Dessert Bar. There's ample parking. Inside is dimly lit and beautifully decorated with flowers, plants, night lights, and soothing guitar music playing in the background, it's very romantic. I was listening to an instrumental version of the theme song Friends, "I'll be there for you," and The Chainsmokers & Coldplay "Something just like this," both sound great! I love their choice of music, they make the atmosphere feel inviting and alive. Menu offers a nice selection of antipasto, zuppa e insalate, panini, entrees, signature pastas, signature pizzas, and assorted desserts like cheesecakes and pastries. For refreshments, they have white wine, red wine, and beers. Everything on the menu is plant based and they have a gluten-free menu as well! I tried a sweet treat for Cannoli Pistachio ($8), absolutely delicious! It has a delightful exterior crisp with a creamy sweet mascarpone filling composed of organic cashews, tofu, organic sugar, and flavored with crushed pistachios, it's very light, not too sweet, and superb! Other cannoli flavors are chocolate chips and cherry. They also have tiramisu, lemon blueberry muffin, berry tart, and napoleon. I asked Meddie if they have Vegan Meatballs and they do! They are so nice to accommodate. Housemade Meatballs ($6) is amazingly flavorful, savory, and excellent! It comes in four pieces, served hot with a slight crisp exterior. Meatball is composed of TVP soy protein, cannelini navy beans, lentils, served in a delightful marinara, and melted mozzarella made of potatoes, lentils, coconut, so good! The meatballs pair nicely with Caesar Salad ($12), salad has plenty of fresh crisp romaine, housemade croutons and parmesan, served with a delicious homemade Caesar dressing. They even sell Caesar dressing by the bottle. Service from manager Meddie, Aubrey, and Sarah is very kind, welcoming, patient, courteous, and friendly! I noticed the dine-in got busy late afternoon, lots of returning customers, it's great!

Made reservation. We were seated promptly However there's a longwait- 35 min for food. Gluten free menu. Got the oyster scallop white wine pasta. It was sooo good. Their dessert is a must try. We got the GF Oreo cheesecake! It was divine. If you want gluten free and vegan meal, this is it.

You guys!!!! The Cajun chicken pizza and lemon blueberry cheesecake were beyond delicious! I honestly couldn't believe they were completely plant based. It tasted so good that I forgot I wasn't eating traditional dairy or meat. I'm so excited to be starting my plant based journey, and if this is what the food is like, I'm all in! Thank you to all the nice servers for the experience as well!

My coworker doesn't eat beef or pork, and always gets stuck ordering "the chicken dish" at restaurants. So we searched for a place off the strip that she could have anything on the menu. Tarantino's was very highly rated and the reviews looked great. It was about a 20 minute Lyft ride and well worth it. This place is a cozy little neighborhood joint with what appeared to be a loyal local clientele. We ordered the Sampler ($22) and this had plenty of delicious bites. Breadsticks, zucchini sticks, meatballs, bruschetta and crab cakes. Everything is vegan. I don't like crab cakes so didn't try those but everything else was very tasty. I got the Gnocchi with spicy "sausage" ($23) and a Caesar side salad ($6). I should have ordered the gnocchi without the sausage because the sausage had a weird flavor. The gnocchi was good enough without it plus it had dollops of yummy cashew ricotta. The Caesar was fresh and flavorful. Of course we had to try a bunch of desserts. We split a Pistachio Cannoli ($8) to eat right away and then took cheesecake slices To Go. My cheesecake was the Lemon Blueberry ($10). I'm not sure what they make this with but it's a little dense, and not in a good way. Of course I still ate it because I'm a pig. Service was excellent the entire meal with a wonderfully warm and friendly server. He really made the experience special.

Approaching 700 reviews with a perfect 5 star Yelp rating. There is no misteak (pun intended, to the shagrin of spellcheck) here. Though I am not a full-fledged vegan, I thoroughly enjoy vegan restaurants. And they are increasing in numbers, just as wine/alcohol consumption and smoking pecentages continue to plummet. Tarantino's is outstanding, and were you not told, you would not suspect their delicious cuisine was entirely plant-based. Cloth napkins and excellent service by Adrienne only enhanced a near-perfect meal. Sadly, the strawberry cheesecake was so exquisite that it did not survive long enough to be pictured. Will I be back, 1,000% yes.

Totally excellent, period! Friendly, and welcoming, too. Special shout out to manager Meddy!

The most friendly staff! And they have REALKY big hearts . Tables were filled the entire time... people were consistently coming in. Super cozy atmosphere. Lots of gluten free options. Everything ordered was excellent. Caesar salad was fresh, crisp and the dressing a little on the sweet side. Gf eggplant parm (no marinara), was thick, hearty and delicately breaded and crunchy. Gf penne pesto pasta was rich and comforting. Huge portion. Zucchini rolls were packed with "ricotta". Crab cakes were bursting with filling! Chocolate raspberry cheesecake... let's just say I consumed before the to go box made it to the table. I will always visit here when I'm in town. Heck, I'd even make a trip to town just to dine here.

This place was awesome! My daughter and I were visiting Vegas for the BTS show. My daughter is vegan, I am vegetarian with vegan tendencies and it's always very difficult for us to find good places when traveling that accommodate us. But even if you're not plant based, I highly recommend this place just for the super filling food that feels comforting. But this place has great service and great food that kept me full all day (even when walking the strip for hours)! It was such a great experience that we went back the next day and got into a conversation with Meddie (one of the employees) who was very knowledgeable about plant based eating as well as music! So if you're looking to try something new or awesome, come check this place out!

Wish I had more pictures to share but we all finished every single bit of our meal. This place was delicious! it was a group of four of us only one Vega in our party. We all LOVED the food. Flavor, texture, service, everything. For sure a hidden gem that you MUST try I promise you won't be disappointed. It is the next morning after our meal and we are all still talking about it. Great job chef and staff

Dark chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Very good!

I have been here before and thought the food was pretty good. Also I thought the price was a bit high. I still think the price is a bit high, but the food is amazing! I don't know what has changed since the last time. It has been a long time since then, but the food is so good. I am looking forward to having other meals here. I had the margarita pizza, which is chef's kiss! I started making Italian hand gestures as I ate. I also bought the meat lovers calzone and the lasagna. The lasagna is quite large, but it is $26 so I would hope it could feed a few. Both were very good by the way. The desserts are amazing although, the chocolate croissant at $11 can be purchased at Almond & Oat Coffee House for $8 FYI. So I wouldn't purchase that here. But the cheesecakes, tiramisu, Neapolitan and cannoli are amazing! One day I will try their gelato. My friend and I came here the other night also for desserts and the coffee was really good with this sweet cream, almond milk. Coffee was only three dollars with refills. Yay! If you crave Italian and your vegan, you better get over here!

Sample Taste of Tarantino's! Chicken parm was the best!

Brought my mother in law a lifetime vegan to her first all vegan restaurant! I've waited to come here for so long, I was very excited. You walk in and wow this place is beautiful and calm. As far as the food it was delicious. Everything here was homemade and we had to ask the server about the steak. The group of us was all non vegan except for one and we all greatly enjoy. We tried the chicken parm, lasagna, fettuccini Alfredo, sampler appetizer, margarita pizza, meat lovers pizza and the steak. By far our favorites were the chicken parm and the margarita pizza. We couldn't believe how the steak pulled like real meat and did enjoy it! The service was very good, the dessert case looked incredible although we did not get any. Great place for vegans and non vegans alike! Appreciate all the time and care taken into the food.

A little late to this review, oops. It also had taken me way too long to finally visit Tarantino Vegan to begin. I have been getting their e-mails for maybe a year. LOL! And even on this past visit, it was only for take-out. But with that, I believe Tarantino Vegan to be somewhere between a 4 and 5 on the Yelp scale. A solid, very great 4 though....a peppery moment may have been the deal breaker (a minor infraction really). Even for takeout, the food was absolutely delicious. Crab cakes and the "Taste of Tarantino's" platter of sorts came home with me during this visit....so I could sample a variety and also have leftovers. Crab cakes were delicious and the chicken Alfredo was too. The eggplant parm was layered beautifully and would have been spot on, but it was a way too peppery for my taste (and I love pepper, so that gives you the idea of how much pepper was on it). The pepper killed the presentation. It was strange and I was not expecting it. Maybe a one time slip for my order, maybe peppery parmesan is their thing here, but not a deal breaker in any way. Although the decorative attempt of old school Italian minimalist is not really my jam, the ambiance is cozy, charming, intimate. Go for lunch or bring a date, either option vibes here. Along that line of ambiance and feel, Royce who was assisting me set the tone of customer service, charm, hospitality and gratitude. Is he the owner? Is he the main manager? Is he just a host? I am not sure, but regardless, he exudes what excellent hospitality should look and feel like especially here in Las Vegas. Hats off to Royce for making a good impression on me that has lasted and I was only in the restaurant for maybe 15 minutes to place a take-out order. But as I have said countless times, a Yelp review to me is often about so much more than the food, it is the whole experience from parking to bathrooms. Kudos Royce, you are a delight and make me want to return. Tarantino's Vegan does such a good job sending e-mails reminding me to visit, which I personally like to be reminded, because this restaurant is not actually close to me in the valley. Keep sending the reminders and I promise to return, more than once a year.

We love this place. I found this restaurant few years back from Yelp. Finally we tried this place. It was absolutely our new favorite place! The foods are amazing! The combination of the flavors are creative but also tasty nothing you can simply describe. The service was great. The interior remind it as a family restaurant. The ambience is warm & hand made decoration and wall paintings. The steak was impressive! Outstanding if we go back to Vegas, that is for this restaurant

**Chef Kenny's Vegan Dim Sum: A Bold Exploration of Plant-Based Chinese Cuisine**…read more Chef Kenny's Vegan Dim Sum presents a thoughtful and imaginative reinterpretation of traditional Chinese dim sum. It perfectly caters to those who follow a plant-based diet while simultaneously captivating the palates of diners like myself, who typically enjoy meat-centric dishes. As I set out on this culinary adventure, I approached it skeptically, wondering how well classic flavors could be recreated without animal products. However, the experience was both enlightening and delicious, showcasing the rich tapestry of vegan cuisine while honoring its roots in Chinese gastronomy. My dining experience commenced with a delightful assortment that included Vegan Siu Mai, Bean Curd Rolls, and Hargow, each prepared with remarkable attention to detail and an evident dedication to the craft. The Vegan Siu Mai featured delicate, handcrafted wrappers enclosing a savory filling. This filling, made from a thoughtfully blended mix of plant-based ingredients, artfully mimicked the umami richness typically found in its traditional pork counterpart, creating a satisfying and deep dish. Next, the Bean Curd Rolls offered a delightful textural contrast. Each roll was perfectly crispy on the outside, delivering a satisfying crunch that gave way to a tender and flavorful interior, showcasing the craftsmanship involved in creating vegan versions of beloved appetizers. The Hargow was particularly impressive, boasting a translucent skin that practically shimmered on the plate. The subtle yet profoundly satisfying filling provided an authentic taste that highlighted the skill required in replicating such a cherished classic dish. To add a bit of variety to my meal, I ventured outside the plant-based menu with an order of non-vegan lettuce wraps. While these wraps diverged from the overall theme, they pleasantly added a fresh, crisp counterpoint to my meal, reminding me of the versatility and adaptability inherent in Chinese cuisine. The crisp lettuce provided a refreshing crunch and beautifully complemented the rich flavors of the other dishes. During my visit, Chef Kenny's apparent mastery in expertly replicating the complex umami flavors and diverse textures typically associated with traditional dim sum resonated with me. The plant-based substitutes utilized throughout the menu, such as Beyond Meat, were handled with remarkable expertise, allowing for dishes that simultaneously felt familiar and innovative. Though I cannot categorize myself as a strict vegan convert, I left with a newfound appreciation for the creativity and dedication Chef Kenny and his culinary team pour into every plate. For those adhering to a vegan lifestyle, this restaurant may serve as a beacon of gastronomic delight, firmly establishing that plant-based cuisine can honor time-honored traditions and present exciting, unique culinary experiences. Meanwhile, for non-vegans, it offers an excellent opportunity to step outside their familiar gastronomic boundaries and explore the endless possibilities of vegan cooking. Whether you are a curious diner or a devoted vegan, Chef Kenny's Vegan Dim Sum deserves a spot on your culinary itinerary. It is an experience that promises to surprise, satisfy, and inspire.

Since it was our first time, they gave us a chance to look over the menu and ask questions. They were very accommodating to our requests for substitutions and even recooked our French fries to make them softer. My son and I shared the Salami sandwich with fries and I also got the southern fried oyster mushrooms with a Housemade dragonfruit lemonade. My son despises any vegan cheese or vegan mayo and he tore this sandwich UP! He even added extra mayo on his half of the sandwich. The olive jalapeño tapenade was tasty and really pulled the sandwich together but it was slightly spicy so careful to those who are sensitive to spice. The southern seasoned oyster mushrooms were so flavorful. The batter was light and crispy, the mushrooms were sliced thick and not too thin. One of the best I've ever had. The lemonade was okay. Could have used more flavor and more sweetener. Overall, I will definitely be back to try some more items on the menu.

The scallopini Parmesan was DELICIOUS as well as the side of grilled artichokes. But it was extremely small. The drinks were decent. The charred leeks appetizer is NOT at all what you would think. There were four tiny, sliced leeks and four small pieces of grapefruit, which isn't even mentioned on the menu nor do I like. It was served cold, which also threw me off. Not a good appetizer and not in any way shape or form worth $18. We also got the leaks and risotto side. The risotto was not cooked thoroughly and was hard. It's laid out on the plate to make it look like a decent amount but yet again a very small small portion, especially for the price. I should've stuck with the basics. The zucchini blossoms the cigars and the scallopini Parmesan are probably the best things on the menu and consistently good. I get excited to try new things, but it seems to just end up being disappointing lately. There was also finally a new dessert which was a Matcha cake, but of course it was out. Probably for the best since all the new stuff seems to be a thumbs down this season. Our server was super nice though, and staff was very attentive as far as setting down new plates and clearing finished ones. Little things like that are appreciated. And I don't think they ever let our water glass get empty. I usually like to sit further back inside the restaurant but we sat in the very front by the rail this time which was a nice change and got to do some "people watching". It's a more casual feel area. Side note-I'm not sure what's going on with the lack of uniform for the hostesses, but it's not a very classy look for such a nice restaurant

The dining area is small but they have good seating for a table and by the wall. It's a casual atmosphere with good music playing. Menu offers a nice selection of sandwich that can be ordered as a combo or a la carte. I opted for a meal ($15.90) which include a choice of any sandwich, one deli side, a house drink, and sweet treat. I chose NoTuna salad, so good and delicious! It has tasty garbanzo beans, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, red onion, vegenaise and green spring mix served on a toasted ciabatta roll. The sandwich roll is slightly crunchy. I also got a potato salad ($9) as an a la carte, it's yummy! They have a NoTurkey Pasta salad as well and it's good! It has bowtie pasta, green peas, and crumbles of NoTurkey in a creamy sauce. Their housemade Rosemary Lemonade is refreshing! It pairs wonderfully with a delightful chocolate chip cookie, and the cookies are housemade and amazing! Service from Alecia is welcoming and friendly. The owner checked in to see how everything was and it's great! They have a loyalty card where you get a free sandwich after 10 stamps.

There is also a butcher case by the register where you can order the meats, cheeses, sides, and desserts made. I asked for a recommendation and was told the Pulled NoPork was a popular one so I gave it a try. There is an option to upgrade with a side, drink and dessert but I chose the sandwich for now. The sandwich was thick! Plenty of filling and the slaw on there was nice and refreshing. I barely finished the first half. The bread used is nice and fluffy with a light crunch. The pulled nopork itself was pretty good. I added honey Dijon mustard and it went well on this. Overall I enjoyed my first experience here. Love to see another good vegan sandwich spot that isn't generic.

My food was ready, the counterperson was very courteous and I was on my way. The food, by the way, was phenomenal. You would be hard pressed to tell that this was plant based. Further, the portions were generous and the food was filling.
