The workers at this location recently called the police on a struggling mental ill person who couldnt figure out how to pay cash for a bicycle in the self checkout. The gentleman was dragged out of the store by police officers for absolutely nothing aside from having disabilities. he was a kind and paying customer and was discriminated against by your company. I have shopped at this location several times, and I have never been treated with disrespect that I have seen in the video that I recently watched. For whatever reason you don't treat a person like myself without disabilities with unfairness, however, when somebody needs a helping hand, you called the police on them. I will never again shop at this location, and I will do my best to avoid all targets altogether. It's disgusting that your worker had the audacity to do something like this. FIRE THIS PERSON, they do not belong on the target team, again I've been treated kindly by all of your team members at this location. However, maybe I'm not mentally disabled enough to get treated poorly the way you treat, mentally disabled people. I placed an online order at this Target location, to be ready "in two hours." That was yesterday, Sunday June 25, 2023. It wasn't. 3 hours after the order was placed, while in the neighborhood, we went by Target to check the status, they said that they were "backed up" and couldn't pull the order, or let us pull the order. They said it would "be a while." Less that 5 minutes after we left, I received an email telling me the order was ready for pickup. Too late, as we were already well on our way to our next errand. Today (June 26, 2023,) at 4:15 PM, went to pick up my order. The store was busy, which is to be expected. What shouldn't be expected, and is unacceptable, is that there were IPS security cars parked on the sidewalk, in the fire lane. They were functionally blocking handicap ramp access, and blocking the crosswalk. This is not the first time that IPS has parked in and blocked crosswalks, they make it a habit. This is also not the first time that they have blocked crosswalks at Target. I have brought it to Target's attention before. They just ignored me. It's illegal to block the crosswalks, it is illegal to park in fire lanes (NM Statute included at the end of review), it is illegal to block access to handicap accessible accommodations. That last one violates the Americans with Disabilities Act. Blocking crosswalks forces pedestrians to walk in traffic lanes, blocking fire lanes creates a hazard for all the people in the store. IPS flaunts their disregard for the law, and Target is a willing enabler and participant. I wonder if they are going to be as willing to accept responsibility when a pedestrian is struck by a car in a parking lot, or a disabled person falls (or is otherwise injured) because they cannot use accessibility accommodations. New Mexico's parking statute (NM Stat § 66-7-351) " 66-7-351. Stopping, standing or parking prohibited in specified places. A. Target. This is a pretty good Target, I go here all the time, and it looks nice compared to other stores I go to, and is restocked pretty fast. I'm just sad they don't the Joyride sour strips that I keep looking for. Oh! And there may be someone who talks to you about a phone plan or something? I think some of the workers get paid for that or something. Also the price, of course. It's gonna be a little expensive cause it's Target. But at least it looks nicer and is better restocked than other stores? There's a good amount of items here, they have toys, video games, if I remember correctly TVs, Halloween stuff right now, even Christmas stuff already, it's not even November! I'm ok with only 1 star as they do carry plant based options in grocery. Their loss prevention is a bunch of creepers that only seem interested in hitting on female staff at the checkstand and not much else. Parking is the worst of all the Target stores in the area, the layout is also bizarre compared to other target stores. The Target on 528 is so much nicer in comparison. Drastically so. The one on Paseo is nicer as well. There are other issues with this target that others have pointed out but you don't need to point that out to recognize this is the worst Target in the area. I was at this store to buy some food when I started to be followed by a weird gentleman. I noticed him pretty quickly because the way he was looking at me was really awkward and he had pedophile eyes. As I tried to do my shopping he stalked me, peeking around corners and acting like he was a customer. I felt so uncomfortable that I was about to confront him but when he saw me looking at him he would go the other way. I ended up leaving all my stuff in the cart and walking away and the gentleman came up to me and put his hands on my shoulder and grasped me. I spun around and asked him what the hell he was doing and why he was touching me and he told me that he was Los Prevention and I had to put my items back and that he's been watching me. That's when I realized that the stalker that's been following me is a Target employee. This is unacceptable and absolutely outrageous. What gives target employees the right to think that they can touch their customers. I'm so disappointed with this store! I get that theft is an ongoing issue so pretty much all necessities like shampoo, body wash, creams, laundry detergent, etc. are behind a locked shelf. But when you activate the call sensor and have to wait 15 minutes or more for someone to come get your item is unacceptable!! I physically go and find employees to help me and they all tell me they don't carry the key to unlock the shelf and someone will be with you shortly. This is a review about Target as a corporation. Personally, I have avoided Target as much as possible for the past 5 years, however a few naive people still send me gift cards to this place. In this age, no reputable business can survive with a poor web presence and unreliable technology. For this reason, I agree with the others who note that the corporation will soon join the list of bankrupt and defunct businesses. Especially in the past year, both my in person and online shopping experiences with Target have had frusrating and unnecessary obstacles. I have lost valuable money and time due to their unreliable practices. Here's an experiment you can try yourself -- look up a product on the Target app while you are in the parking lot, note that it is "In Stock," and then go inside to try and find it in the store. Observe that no one comes to help, and if you manage to communicate with a person they will claim helplessness and offer no recourse. They will tell you that the product is out of stock and to check back another day. If you try to call before you enter the store to verify that the product is indeed available, observe that no one answers the phone. If you try to order the product online, note that the search function is inconsistent. It will show you products you didn't ask for, and hide the ones you are trying to find. If you have to update any address or payment information, note that the website won't always update the information even after you press "save." If you manage to place an order, note that their poor security allows others to order products sent to them while you are stuck paying for them. Note that any complaint about this to Target customer servce is regarded as something you will "hopefully understand, there is nothing we can do." Follow the emails that, for example, state a delivery will happen on January 27th and yet deliver it on a different date without updating he information to you, the one who paid for it. Note that once Target has received money, they do not care about customer satisfaction. That is why they falsely advertise about product availability. That is why they allow others to walk with away with items you have paid for. MOST IMPORTANTLY, that is why I will never allow anyone I care about to spend money at this corporation again. read more

I loved loved loved this target on Coors and Paseo. One of the major reasons - it actually had several solid aisles where men's products for shampoo, conditioner, etc, were displayed. It was so nice shopping and picking out products. Well recently I guess they decided men don't spend enough on products like this, so they smashed all of them into one narrow aisle towards the back of the store and now women have between 10-14 aisles of products. Guess I will do my shopping for these items somewhere else. Really sad use of space. Lost my business. read more

Hi, I would not go to this Target. They have a mice infestation. The makeup department especially is affected by this issue. I personally bought a bottle of foundation that had mice bites all over the box and when I tried to return the item the Target employee unapologetically told me that they had a infestation and they didn't "realize" they were still selling products eaten by the mice. However, I went to look at the makeup section after and they still had items that were clearly ruined and eaten by something. read more

Mixed review--- needed two very disparate items in different departments and couldn't seem to locate them. Four different employees were very helpful. Didn't get names programmed into memory, but if they are representative, they may see more of me. had to use ladies' room and as I am handicapped, it was nice that the handecapped stall was available.. Target's return policy is nonsense. A student at my school received a donated pair of shoes but they were the wrong size. I attempted to exchange them for a bigger size but since the person donating them made the purchase online with target plus, I could not switch the size. This only hurts the disadvantaged student who now doesn't have a pair of shoes. And he is stuck with a size that is too small, which is useless to him. I love Target, I actually prefer to go to this retailer over Walmart. Why? Well let's see they are much more organized, cleaner, now offer groceries, and well everyone and their great grandmother isn't there all the time! I avoid Walmart as much as possible because event though they offer much more and unfortunately are cheaper I hate being there because they get overcrowded, parking is a nightmare, and I'm there much longer than I want to be. What I love about Target and am willing to pay more for is that even during peak hours it never feels crowded (except Black Friday). I have room to roam with my cart. Hell I can be in and out. When it comes to their products, they are much higher in quality. I've gotten shirts, pillows, home decor, electronics, and many other items that I'm still using today that I've been using for a few years now. I will continue to shop because of that. I wish the grocery aisles had some more frozen foods, and fresh food selection but besides that I really don't have any complaints. Because of red card policy I will never shop at target again. The billing "cycle" is different than your due date. I pay my bills a month ahead of time to build my credit, well, because of the difference in the due dates and billing cycle I was reported to collections. I payed $175dollars above the minimum payment and target reports that I made a late payment. When you contact red card, you are talking with a collection agency, not Target employees and they treat you brutally rude. Our whole shopping experience revolved around watching Security basically stalk a man. At first, I wasn't sure it was Security and pointed the guy out to my husband as he was acting odd, hiding around corners, staring. Who knows what he could be doing. It's not a large store either. I would suggest they focus more on getting people to buy things than worrying about possible Shoplifters. As we were leaving we watched these same young men (Security) walk a guy out and parade him around for everyone to see. I am not interested in seeing this drama, being a part of it, having it around me. Possibly, more mature Security may handle things differently. It wasn't until he pulled out his walkie talkie that I was sure what was going on. This is distracting, wwe went in for a whole list of item and only came out with Bananas. I realized you may have saved $10 from being stolen, but the disruption to customers seems like it should be worth something. If I could give this target no stars I would. I'd like to also say that I've postponed writing this review in hopes this store would change there ways but their just as bad as it gets. I'll start with the light stuff, one time while shopping here my sister and I put back two glass coke bottles in the soda aisle where we were then followed by a target employee told "well is that were you found these? We wouldn't want them to break would we?" My sister and I looked at each other In utter disbelief that a paid employee would feel like it was ever appropriate to reprimand a paying guest... so with that already an interaction that happened, we try to avoid this Walmart whoops target at all cost. But today we set our differences aside and went in. Now I've been on crutches for some time, so I use a motorized cart to help me get around, the cart attendant was useless and overall rude. He watched as I tried to get settled into the cart only for him to tell me it wasn't working but should work (now). So I suggested he help me get one that works and he looked at me like I asked him to be my personal shopper. I've worked in retail and I understand when someone requests something that is truly above and beyond... this was not the case. He did not help me and was merely a person watching me. After some time the cart dies and within the time it took I watched 8 employees walk past me and stare and continue on. The first employee to actually help was the security guy so we've got the ratio of every 9 employees 1 will stop to help.But then an employee gives my mother a cart they believe she can now push me in? My mother is 70 years old, what world would she be able to push a cart around with the weight of someone's body? So at this point target is completely disappointed us, they are not adhering to ADA compliance and it is clear. The whole shopping trip continues to get worse, we leave, I write a review * the little spot dog on the bottom Of your receipt* and after filing that review out. We get a call from Dion or Dionne however her name is spelled, where her message sounded so empathic, Honest and over all concerned for our time. But I would not have called her back if I knew she was going to gaslight, remove responsibility of staff and self, I would have left it at a review. But she actively called us to actively reignite the emotions we experienced here. After the whole trip we cried in the parking lot because it was such a taxing emotional experience that honestly I don't want anyone to ever experience.
