At Walmart, it wasn't easy to browse since most of the men's razors were on the upper shelves, and I use a wheelchair. Fortunately, I met a very kind employee named Irial who was stocking shelves. She listened carefully when I explained what I needed and took the time to help -- lifting down one box after another until we finally found exactly what I was looking for: a Remington R3 razor with a sliding on/off switch. I can't say enough about Irial's patience and kindness. She went above and beyond to make sure I could find the right product. I truly hope Walmart recognizes employees like her and continues hiring helpful, compassionate staff

That being said theres a few things that are uniquely and insanely annoying about every location. #1 there isnt a good boxing station. I do like that they use boxes, it makes a lot of sense, however theres not a good place to accomplish the task of putting everything into a box. So youre using like the picnic eating tables or an empty register to do it and youre always in the way. #2 the location of the bathroom is so insanely frustrating. It is ALWAYS beyond the checkout and with no clear path to/from it. So if you have to use the restroom before checkout it is such a process and so inefficient because youre having to go through the open checkout aisles. #3 no aisle labels + the location of where things are and what they carry is constantly changing. They have an amazing selection but it is not consistent at all. #4 the location of the carts is on the other side of where you come in, so the traffic leaving the out doors is always clashing with the traffic arriving to the in doors. They should put the bulk of carts on the side of the in door. Otherwise i love Costco, but these are systematic things that just make no sense that to me would be pretty simple to fix when they open new stores but the issues are always the same.

Over the years I have visited quite a large portion of the Marden's stores. I will say I believe this is one of the better locations and one of the largest I think. For selection I would say this location has such a huge variety of everything you could imagine plus so many items you wouldn't expect! You will go in looking to buy say a pair of socks or a rug and wind up walking out with a hammer, garden hose, snacks, and who knows what else. Along with the variety you can definitely find deals that are cheaper than anywhere else. I've found you can find some of the best deals on clothing here. Some other items are just worth passing on though oppositely. Have had no major complaints service wise here at all. Friendly staff although checking out may be a bit slower at times. Despite this and the fact some items really aren't worth buying overall a great store to stop at and browse for some good deals!

The store is as organized as they can get it, with things changing over so much, they pretty much just organize by the percentage of discount (center of the store) or by the typical "department store categories" The staff seemed to be ok. Very busy and focused - on products or moving customers through the lines efficiently. They definitely were all working hard from what I could see. The parking lot is always 3/4 full.

The Curtainshop definitely applies purchase/return standards, but that's what prevents their store from looking like a picked over, half-empty Target display, with returns jammed into plastic bags. They also have great fabric in up to date styles if you want to make your own window treatments. They also sell rugs, pillows, furniture and soft goods for bathrooms and bedrooms. As for the custom made department, it does sound like they should be transparent up front about the 'bring your own fabric' pricing. Their 'up charge' for using customer supplied fabric is 100% standard for all fabrication departments that also sell fabric. Think about getting your car fixed. Would your repair professional be excited about or even agree to use parts you bought on discount? The role as a 'middle person' in these businesses is just part of their profit margin - otherwise they would just raise basic labor rates even more. You would pay for it somewhere. Custom made draperies are labor intensive and exorbitantly expensive EVERYWHERE . It is part of the reason drapery styles are more simplistic these days, and why I learned to sew.

The store is dark, kind of funky smelling and very woody. Lots of ropes and other nautical stuff just hanging around, it has a very pleasantly tacky décor. An interesting store, you can find the plenty tacky touristy stuff here and if you dig and look a bit you just might find something more.

I go to this Paper Store often for various things; cards, candles, games, and gifts. (I mean it's right next to a Hannaford... how can I resist every time I get my groceries!) They really do have a little bit of everything. But really it is the staff that makes this store get an enthusiastic 5 stars. Everyone is always SO friendly and helpful (but not in a pushy way). If you want to strike up a conversation, they will talk to you, but you won't be dogged by people trying to sell you everything in the store. I also love that they have a relatively large amount of staff for the store's size. On any given day, I usually see someone stocking, a cashier, a greeter, and another person or two floating around to help where needed. This means that I never have waited on line for more than 5 minutes (even on weekends) and when I've needed help, I never had to search fruitlessly for a free employee. The store is alway clean and the merchandise neatly arranged. Keep up the good work everyone!
