And while I'm hopping Target, I needed a corkscrew and some nuts and a bottle of wine and before you know it, I'm up to $125. Oy vey. I feel so badly for this Target! It is the messiest Target I've ever been to! Clothes were on the floor in every department. We bought a Nintendo switch game for our kids, but the game was apparently a "Digital Download". They are just ripoffs and a waste of money. So we try to install the game and it says use the code on the receipt. Well we went back and looked on our target card history and there is no code. We call Nintendo they say they can't help us. Try calling target. Okay we call Target and get passed around to 4 people. None of which can help, even though we have the order number for which we purchased the game. Ultimately after 2 hours on the phone they say they can't help us and to call Nintendo. Oh also Target won't give us a refund even though we paid for a game that we can't even use. Overall the store is a mess, things are not in the proper areas, which makes it harder to shop. Finding an employee to help you is also very difficult as there is rarely anyone around. Went to the Starbucks today and was met with rude baristas. I ordered a tall matcha latte with oat milk and classic syrup. I watched as the worker pumped what looked like 7-8 pumps of syrup in a drink that normally only gets 3. Also, instead of scooping the matcha, I watched as she poured the matcha from the bag. As a result the drink had way too much syrup and matcha making it taste weird. I ended up throwing away the drink as all the workers seems u approachable and unwilling to help me. read more

I have been in this Target on 278 several times and each time it gets worse. Clothing all over the floor, empty shelves, boxes in the isles, and the seasonal section is a mess. Before arriving to the store today I looked on my Target app to check for sales. Thankful that I did because none of the items showing the sale on the app were marked on the shelves. I am not sure what is going on in this store but it needs a good manager. I was so surprised when I walked in and saw the disarray and lack of product. I have always considered Target above Marshall's, Old Navy and Home Goods, but not this one on this day. When the customer comes to the cashier to cash out and they start saying well, this says it's got 20% off and this is got 10% off and they have no proof they don't have the app you go ask one of the higher ups and then I give it to them I don't care is that the attitude you want it's like after well people are gonna come in and know they can get away with any price that you give Also the same with gift cards they say I'm supposed to get a five dollar gift card they did not apply that to their app they don't even have the app bring it to the person that is higher up than you and what are they do oh come here I'll give you a gift card I mean there's no rhyme or reason same watching all these videos they tell you the alcohol one you must proof everybody can you have a cashier that doesn't know how to do it, saying she was never shown and it's just entering birthdays. She doesn't even know if this person has a license or not. The store needs a lot of work. They need to get corporate in here and clean this up. Target is my happy place! This location didn't disappoint. The parking lot is large. The store was well organized. I noticed a few items I haven't seen at any of the Charleston area stores. My go-to sections are makeup, shoes, clothing, and stationary. All those sections were neat, organized, and fully stocked. The women's clothing clearance selection is huge! Discounted handbags, jewelry, and accessories we're also in this section. I'm not sure if this is a new thing for Target or if it's specific to this store. But it was new to me. read more

I have to say, I am pretty disappointed in an exchange policy that I had with Target today. I received a gift that was an electronic that was a color I didn't care for and a size that I was unable to use. I was hoping for an even exchange. I even had the actual receipt that was used by my boyfriend, rather than a gift receipt. Since, he bought it on a day when there was a 10% off, they refused to do an even exchange for the electronic. They verbatim said," once you lose it, you lose it!" That's absolutely awful customer service. Why should you have to pay out of pocket for a gift. I love shopping at Target. I usually shop there for t-shirts, cargo shorts, shirts and jeans. I've also occasionally bought some grocery items there and miscellaneous things like Halloween and Christmas decorations. They have a simple and easy return policy as long as you keep your receipts. DISAPPOINTED. I went to get the vineyard vines backpack cooler in the American whale print. It's the very last one so I was pumped they had one left! I noticed the bottom was VERY SCRATCHED and DIRTY! It's a $40 cooler (which is kinda a lot...to me at least) so I went to customer service to ask if they would discount it because it was clearly a return and not in brand new shape. The guy at customer service immediately denied my request about as soon as I asked. Before honestly even looking at what I was talking about. I asked him why? It was clearly dirty and scratched and a return he said it was on the bottom...I explained how it was the last one and $40 for a scratched and very dirty and returned cooler was offering really terrible customer service. He clearly didn't care and He didn't even ask if I wanted it anyways and said "ok" and proceeded to put it in the bin behind him. I just purchased a set of dishes from Target. When I got home I opened the box to check each piece. One dish was defective. I called customer service and was told I could return the whole lot (which I had already unpacked and washed), or they would give me $3.31 for the replacement. It costs 7.99 to replace that dish, and 8.99 to ship it from an online site that offers replacement dishes. This dishes are offered through many other stores and I chose Target because I "Knew" they would replace any dishes that were damaged. I cam to the Target to pick up an birthday gift for my Mom. The customer service in the aisles as well as at checkout was very good. This is a larger Target store than I am use to shopping at and had a good selection. I just wished that the fresh food section was better stocked. Excellent experience yesterday at target. I had a painless return of baby food that was disgusting! Blah! But they refunded me the money and I also forgot a bag of like plastic cups and paper plates but they didn't have it. So they allowed me to get another set and take it with me! I was blown away by their customer service. It was excellent. I stayed longer and bought a pair of boots and some things for my son. Anyhow, as we were shopping around, the power went out. No big deal, life happens and just because they're a big store doesn't make them an exception! The staff handled it well. It was only a second that the power went it but all of their computers went down. they gave us 3$ coupons for the inconvenience! I was pretty shocked. Let's be honest, would you EVER receive that kind of customer service at Walmart? Can I get not only a no, but a hell no! It wasn't a big deal and I left happy!! I have shopped at Target for years. I had never had any problems with their business until today. Went to the store in Bluffton S.C at 1300. The lady that was over seeing the cash registers was rude and totally embarrassed me in front of an entire store of customers. I wanted to buy a few Rose Hill brand blouses that were supposed to be 20% when I did not get the discount she very rudely said I had to have the Target app on my phone to get the discount. I told her my phone only had talk and text on it she said all phones had apps. She was so loud a young lady 2 people behind me in line said I could use her phone it had the app. The employee said I could not use the kind lady's app. The employee then proceeded to take my phone and try to download the app on my phone. I may be 70 but I Do know what my phone will and will not do. I am not the idiot that she treated me to be I was totally mortified.Target blackmails it's customers into downloading their apps. or you are totally out of luck getting their coupons or sales discounts.
