I've always loved this target but today after spending all of this time and money in Target. My daughter and I begin to walk towards the first entrance closest to the Starbucks and were told by a cashier, THAT DOOR IS LOCKED. We were being watched by two young ladies who saw us turn around. We walk all the way to the opposite end to get outside in 26 degree weather that they were letting ppl out of the very same entrance we were told we couldn't leave out of! We even saw a woman closing and locking the door after another person left out. I believe that if you're inside, you should be able to exit any door that was open. Perhaps they could manage not allowing anyone to walk in but this was extremely rude, given the temperature outside and the amount of bags we had in our hands. read more

10.2.22 I came to the store hoping to purchase Kelly Ripa's book, "Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories" after I saw online that they do a price match. After doing some research online I saw that at Samsclub.com it's $16.48 and it's $20.49 online at Target. So at the self-serve kiosk I asked an associate if he could assist me with the price match. He used his scanner/mobile device (?) that they use to look up a list of their competitors. He keyed in the SKU, but was unable to locate it through Sam's Club. I showed him from my phone, but he said he could not honor it. I was pretty frustrated and disappointed about their false advertisement. Sam's Club is listed on their list of competitors and I even showed him the price and that it was the exact book and title. He apologized, but said he couldn't match it. Do yourself a favor and don't bother on big ticket items as this was a small item and they refused to honor it. Guess I'll be purchasing this book through Amazon. On weekends, and virtually all the time, they have permanently closed one of the dressing rooms, so for this huge store there are only 4 dressing rooms. At least an hour wait in line. Then the nasty bit** employee there barks at you, to prove to you they think customers are scum. There is another dressing room but they keep it cordoned off. Really? They can't even provide one employee to stand there and work at the same time folding or hanging clothes, so that maybe the store could sell stuff and make money? TARGET DOES NOT EVEN TRY TO HIDE THEIR HATRED AND CONTEMPT FOR THIER CUSTOMERS, WHICH THEY CONSIDER DISPENSIBLE AND DISPOSABLE. Target is trying to out-trash Walmart, only with prices 3x as high. Rude employees, total contempt for customers, and mostly ridiculous fad clothes (trad-wife look and see-through petticoats supposedly to wear in the daytime) it's no wonder they are losing money. read more

This has never been my favorite target due to lack of selection when compared to the cherry hill location but the experience I had yesterday afternoon was appalling. I was racially profiled and blocked from leaving by the asset protection employee. He demanded my receipt and wouldn't allow me to leave until I complied. I'm no idiot I know only club stores like Costco and Sam's club can require that upon exit but even so I complied. It was completely humiliating. He didn't do this to the line of white customers exiting before me or any white customers behind me. Considering target is on boycott lists you'd think they'd be trying to at least have good customer service. Never coming here again. read more

This is a really clean and organized Target. I came in to pick up some things for my mom and I was able to get a lot of deals on towels and wash cloths. This Target is hiring on the spot for seasonal and $13 an hour. Some people were applying and many were shopping. Also, there are snacks in the front of the store by check out and a Starbucks for your cravings. I love all Targets, so I will definitely be back if I'm on this end of town. read more

If you have been to one target you have been to them all. This one is no different that any other. It's close to my house so I come frequently due to the convenience. Like any other target it always gets me in trouble because I buy way more than I intend to every time I come. The main draw back for this one is the parking lot. It's poorly designed and people drive way too fast. Make sure you keep your head on a swivel and pay attention so you don't get run over. Overall it's a average target. Store is usually pretty clean and they have a good selection of merchandise in stock. I recently used the CVS to get my flu shot while a shopped. The location is very convenient. read more

Prior to Covid, this was my regular Target, close to my job and gym, and I frequented this place several times a week. Now that my gym is back open, I pop by several times a week again! Despite making copious shopping lists that should allow me to complete all my necessity shopping in one day, there always seems to be something I need from Target 2-3 days out of a week. [shrug] Targets are fairly standard and this one falls in line with the rest. It's a super Target, so there is a grocery area that I occasionally rely on fairly hard. The aisles are clean and well stocked, for the most part. Toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and non-prescription pain pills are still in short supply. The staff is all pretty friendly though I rarely interact with them, especially since I usually self check out. I'm glad this store is part of my routine again, I was missing it! read more

My local Target has made some major changes to their aesthetic in the last year or two. I wasn't the biggest fan at first, because finding items became a bit harder. I'm a big believer in their slogan TARGET RUN AND DONE. Their updates, at first, made that a little harder on me. However, once I got the lay of the land, Target went right back to the top of my shopping favorites list! I'm always finding great deals at target around the holidays. I recently started a new job and needed a desk. Target clearly lists ,online and in store, the specifications for all their items. I did some quick measurements, a short search online and was able to buy my desk via the app and pick it up curbside two days later at the store! All the employees at this location are staying safe and keeping us safe by wearing their masks and other protective equipment. I'm always able to find assistance in the store when needed. The customer service here is terrible!! Received a gift in the mail from a family member. We wanted to exchange it for something else. We received this gift in the mail. There was no receipt but the packaging had several barcodes that they were scanning and pulling up the item. They said since the item was over $100 we couldn't return or exchange it without a receipt. Meanwhile the target website says we should be given a gift card. When the "manager" spoke with us he was SHORT and RUDE. He had zero intentions of resolving the issue. And even said he isn't going to go back and forth with my husband who barely got to explain himself. The young woman in the background barely wanted to do her job. The entire thing is unfortunate because we will be taking our business elsewhere and we expect better service from a major retailer such as TARGET. Since the new renovation is now complete. This target is very high class now. Everything is highly organized and the shelves are well-stocked. Also the store is way more brighter and looks amazing with the new led lights. Also the employees are very and I mean very helpful at this location. This is definitely my go2 store now. Also no issues price matching at this location even. A++++++ Lastly. The overall atmosphere is way more higher class now. Kudos to this Target for seeing such high traffic (I mean, have you been here on a Saturday?) and still keeping it all under control, during a pandemic no less. How they've adapted checking out: when you're ready to get rung up, everyone lines up single file, six feet apart in one line and an employee will call you to the next open register. This really helps with the flow and keeping everyone socially distanced. No more finding the register with the shortest line. While the rest of the store is a bit of a free for all, I appreciate how well stocked items are, including those we were all clamoring to get back in March (cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, masks). Though this Target only has one floor, the layout is spacious and navigating throughout is easy. read more

I shopped here today to find some baby stuff for a shower. I thought I would be in and out, but target only had three lines open and the self check out service. I spent 20 minutes in line, for just a few items. I am disappointed with target for only having three lines open. As a target shopper. Tidy and organized, this is a very nice Target that nicely fits the mold of the Target store. Bright lights, clean aisles, well stocked shelves, helpful crew, clear prices. This Target has it all. In the menswear department, I not only found the pair of jeans that I wanted in my size, I even found a pretty cool tshirt that was totally not on my list but which I will be wearing tomorrow. This is not a Super Target, but they do have a pretty solid grocery section with some frozen and some dairy and some produce. Not like a full supermarket, but enough that you really could do your full weekly shop here. read more

First...this store is in the process of being renovated. For this reason, I/you have to mindful and prepared in advance. A good chunk of the parking lot was commandeered, so you may have to park a little further than your used to. I used to love going to this target. Everything was so nice, neat, and organized. The placement of where stuff was made sense and was easy to find. Now it's just simply FRUSTRATING shopping here. Nothing makes sense anymore. There's children's cloths in between womens cloths, the cloths are all sectioned off (it's like walking through a maze trying to get from one section to the next. Accessories are all over the place. Nothing in the middle of the store makes sense at all what so ever. Not to mention there is only ONE dressing area open still. Never coming here again.. read more

The selection of clothes has become abysmal and the prices have soared (PPG - Pandemic Price Gouging). No clothes for women, I swear, except for these hideous faux colonial style dresses and shirts that are too obnoxious and overdone even for the cast of little house on the prairie. A lot of them are even made of burlap. And there is NOTHING else. Except some cheaply made sleeveless t-shirt crop tops for teens. Target used to be a place where one could actually go to buy some nice casual and even work clothes at good prices. No more. There have been several times in which I gave up waiting in line and left because they only had only one immense line going. However, there are always at least 5-10 employees hanging around gabbing doing nothing. This is during prime shopping hours. I noticed that since the pandemic, they don't bother pricing a lot of home and other non-clothing items, they just throw stuff out and expect you to pay whatever they decide to ring you up at when you get to the register. Things are usually not in the right place so you can't see what things cost, which works in their favor, hoping by the time you actually get to a cashier, you will just give up and buy it no matter what the inflated cost. With all the employees standing around, why can't someone either tag items or put them in the right place? Ha ha ha as if that is going to happen! Target gets two stars instead of one because we all know sometime you need to pop in for a pharmacy item like tylenol or pick up some printer paper and you don't feel like going to CVS or Walmart. I'm glad to see their stocks value is finally starting to go down, and I try not to buy anything there unless I absolutely have to. Still, I know the people at the top at Target are becoming richer than god by ripping off regular working people. read more

I could never find what I need and never find someone to help me. A lot of things are not priced right and are obviously not randomly placed by customers when ever I ask for a price match a manager is always called and they are always rude about it. Once it was insinuated that I moved all of the shelved items to cheaper priced spot by a manager. She made me feel really degraded and unwelcomed. Management needs to do something about the soliciting IN the store. I've never been approached more by Jesus people than I have since going to this target. It absolutely ruins my experience so much so that I started wearing earphones to target. Not much of a solution since this appears to attract their security which they somehow have more on staff than they do employees meant to help you. I love this particular Target store! It can get quite busy on the weekdays and weekends after 9am, but there's a really solid hour or so after opening where you can shop without there being too many other people. I also love that they exclusively carry the Olive and June nail care line, as it's a nice option to not always have to order the nail polish online. I've had good experiences with customer service at this location and I find that the store tends to be pretty clean. This is my Target store of choice, as it is conveniently located about five minutes away from me in a shopping center with a plethora of food and other shopping options! read more

I've been coming to this Target for a while now - it used to be my go to when I lived in Columbia. Sadly, however, I have to say it's gone downhill. It certainly isn't the worst, but it used to be much better. I was in here early this morning when it wasn't very busy and not one employee smiled or said hello. I must have passed at least 8 employees. They look to be in the midsts of doing some remodeling/ renovations in certain areas of the store, so I do understand how they could be a bit preoccupied. I also overheard profanity from some of the teenage cashiers who were standing around chatting. They typically carry a pretty good selection and the store is organized well. I do wish the bathrooms were cleaner. I've noticed from previous reviews that this has definitely not been addressed. This could easily be a 4 star Target if they improved on their customer service and perhaps used some of the remodel money to spruce up the bathrooms. read more

There are ample lanes open and staff is always courteous. I can usually get what I need. I was kind of bummed when they stop carrying Herbal Essence body wash and when the cat litter baking soda deodorizer is not in stock (seems like a consistent thing). Some parts look cleaner but the new layout (middle part) is confusing. And why the is outside building colored brown? What happened to the red? Two stars is actually for the Pharmacy side as there has been many run-ins with rude and condescending pharmacists and techs. Just recently the pharmacist and assistant told me that a behind-the-counter item was never sold there but I bought said item just a few months ago at that location. She then proceeded to argue with me giving an excuse "well it's not Target, it's CVS pharmacy" but that has been the case for quite a while now. Don't brush patrons off if you're not educated in what your pharmacy offers. A simple "let me look this up" or "it's not in stock right now" would be suffice. read more

Most are items will typically keep "stocked" at home, like kleenex, dish soap, paper towels, etc. This store is always very clean, well stocked, and always running specials. Peets coffee is cheaper here than elsewhere, and if you shop carefully, you can take advantage of good deals and realize savings. I have several gift cards from recent purchases, but I keep forgetting to use them. I need the app to remind me not to forget! Problem was, once we downloaded the Cartwheel app, we started walking in circles to locate each item. We did save 40.00 in 160.00. We are dedicated comparison shoppers, and i had to keep switching to my phone calculator to run the numbers. The discount made the choice each time. Shop well, live well. read more

This Target is way too popular. I hate having to parking so far in the crowded parking lot but that's the lazy American in me, I guess. I used to live in here but it started affecting my finances to spend over a $100 every single time I came. I grew up going to Tar-jay in CA when it was just a glorified K-Mart. However, I'm so impressed with the superior level of branding and marketing these past ten years. Targets are really a HAPPY place to shop at. I shop at this location often. Its a large store that usually carries a lot of inventory. I ran in today with a friend to grab items for his christmas party at work. Let me just say that there shouldnt ever be a time where I walk into a Target store and there are completely empty areas, especially in the food sections. Funny story when I first moved to the area I bounced back and forth between EC and Columbia's targets a bunch right after moving from out of state. As a result both my credit cards ended up getting flagged as stolen. Apparently Target has a special relationship with credit card companies to keep an eye out for potential theft of cards. Good on them! Mostly - this is a target. Hard to find people to help you find things, good prices, hit or miss quality - but it has the things you need.
