This is one of the best Target locations I've been to. The store is always clean, well organized, and the customer service is consistently excellent. They usually have multiple checkout lanes open, which keeps the lines moving quickly and makes shopping a pleasant experience. There is plenty of parking, and the associates are attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. I truly appreciate how efficiently this store is run. I stopped by this Target on my way home, and one of the biggest positives was the convenience. The location is only about four minutes off the freeway, which made it easy to stop in quickly when I needed something before heading home. I also appreciated that the baby formula was not locked up, since I've had to wait for employees to unlock it at other locations. The store had a decent selection for what I needed, especially for baby items, and I was able to find what I came in for without too much trouble. As far as value goes? It felt pretty standard for Target. Not the cheapest option, but reasonable enough for the convenience and product availability. Some people swear Walmart is cheaper but i feel the prices aren't too different. That said, this was one of the messiest Target stores I've visited. From the moment I walked in the front of the store looked disorganized and somewhat dirty. Now ...to be fair, the store was packed so I can understand that it may be difficult for employees to keep everything spotless during busy hours. I didn't need direct assistance, so I can't fully judge the customer service. However, I didn't notice many employees greeting customers or saying anything at checkout. On the positive side, the self-checkout area was kept organized and moving. Overall, not a terrible Target, but definitely not the cleanest or most welcoming location. The convenience, decent selection, and easy access from the freeway are the main reasons I'd consider stopping here again. read more

Honestly I don't frequent Target like some have made it a part of their daily routine. I use pick-up services because it's convenient. I've always been greeted nicely and my orders have been correct. I was curious on how to use the Starbucks pick up too but haven't had a chance to try. I am giving 5 stars for the Cat&Jack return policy. I've never heard of anything similar from any other major stores of clothing brands. I simply brought in kids shoes. I showed the receipt from my app, it was well within a year and they gave me store credit in a paper card form. Easy peasy. In this economy, every little bit of saving helps. I'm a first-time mom who recently moved to this area, and this is the nearest Target I like to visit to browse and see what I can find. I enjoy finding good deals, but this recent incident has made me see things differently. A few days ago, I experienced an event that scared me so much that I now doubt I will ever come back probably target pick-up services. However, I want to clarify that this has nothing to do with the employees. Around 6:00 pm, I was shopping with my seven-month-old baby. While browsing through the store, I noticed two male individuals following me persistently. They initially followed me from the baby aisle, then continued to the section with knee braces, and later to where the protein shakes are displayed. I realized they were following me because one of them suddenly approached me and tried to engage in conversation, attempting to flatter me. The second man was walking behind me, which made me feel cornered and unsafe. Feeling uneasy, I decided to call my husband because I also noticed I had a bad gut feeling during this encounter. I waited a few minutes to see if they would leave, and when the cashier offered if security would like to escort me to my vehicle, I chose to decline -- though in hindsight, I will never do that again. Fortunately, my husband was already outside waiting for me. This Target store is always busy, and I've observed that the employees try their best to maintain a safe environment. To clarify, this is the only Target in Fontana; there's another one approximately seven miles away, but this is the closest to my home. Despite the busy atmosphere and diligent staff, I felt extremely unsafe, as if they were trying to take my child away. Mom's, please stay vigilant and don't let your guard down when shopping. So today I walked into Target for a peaceful little self-care moment: one bottle of Dove shampoo, one dry shampoo, and a clearly labeled Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal courtesy of Target Circle. Foolproof... or so I thought. The sign, which I photographed like a true detective very boldly stated the deal applied to ALL Dove beauty AND Dove Men hair care items excluding only trial and travel, dated 1/11-1/17 ( it was 1/14 mind you). No fine print. No "must buy the same item." No secret Target riddles. Cue self-checkout: *beep beep* full price! Excuse me? I summon an employee who confidently informs me that I am mistaken and that the real deal lives in the app and is actually Buy 2 Get 1 Free. Interesting, because the sign did not say that. At all. But okay. A second employee joins the party. Together they decide the issue must be that I didn't buy two of the same item. So we try that. Surprise! Still no deal. But don't worry, they double down and let me know once again that I am mistaken, despite the photographic evidence staring us all in the face. Naturally, I ask for a manager. Plot twist: none exist. The only manager is on lunch. No backup. No supervisor. No adult in charge. As someone who has worked retail (in a big store, no less), I know this is about as believable as a $5 Target run. I even suggested that if the store wasn't going to honor the sign, maybe... just maybe... they should take it down so other customers don't get the same shampoo-fueled disappointment. This was met with attitude, because apparently I had crossed a line by expecting a business to honor its own signage. So I left with my full-priced shampoo, a side of sass, and the overwhelming feeling that Target was no longer going to provide the "Expect More, Pay Less" experience I once knew. read more

The self check out does not take cash, so if you're paying with cash, you're stuck in the long lines. Worst Target wait times ever. No sense of urgency or care for customer service. There's usually only 2-3 cashiers open. Self checkout always has a long line because of the lack of open checkout lines. Drive up pick up - useless. Unless you have all the patience in the world with 30 mins (minimum) to waste. Seems to be a management problem with no sense of order, organization and proper training. Hoping for another Target to open in north Rialto with better management and service. read more

I know I've been here a few times to shop, but last night I was here to first use the women restroom after a long 3.0 hours rest stop LOL. Secondly, I had to return a box of Advil to Target. My prior visits were for in-store shopping reasons which provided a decent experience. Hence, I didn't pay much attention to the women restroom and customer service areas. However, last night, I got first hand observations of the latter two areas. Women restroom was a mess. Trash bin was full to the rim with an overflow. Toilet paper on the floor. It was not a pleasant sight. I understand it was near closing time, but still. Restrooms should be checked regularly like on an hourly basis IMHO. As for the customer service area, there were returned merchandise on the counter. Almost like no space to handle transactions. Despite of that, the staff was pleasantly nice. My Advil return was very quick and easy. I needed a tissue for my nose and there happened to be a box on the counter. I asked for a tissue and the gentleman behind the counter brought the box to me so I can grab one. Thank you sir! I hope this is not a regular display of the store. I like to shop in a clean and organized store. Restrooms and customer service areas are closest to the entrance. First impression is everything. Anyway, hope they do better in their day to day maintenance and provide more attention and care to all areas of the store throughout the day. Happy Targeting! read more

Didn't get the cashiers name because I was in awe of her texting with one hand and scanning items with the other while looking down at her phone, impressive! Wouldn't be surprised if she missed times. She was at the register in front of the concession stand. About 5 feet, dark hair, glasses and bangs in her face. I was there at 12:48 of that helps. Let's move on to me waiting 15 minutes for my online pick up while at least 5 staff members at walking around. I had switched to in store pick up as I was about 1 mile away didn't hit "i'm here". Finally a young man comes and scans my barcode and says my stuff is outside for pick up, I told him I switched to in store (I had forgotten a few things) he said well since you said on the way , we had it ready. I said "so I need to go outside and get it?" He said yes. I said "are you serious" and his response... well you're going outside right... it took so much to not be rude to him. How dare he not offer to go get it for me after I told him I was not parked near the pick up area, and also, the fact that he saw me with my toddler, he just proceeded to to scanning the next customers code. Lucky for me, he ended up giving me my items at my car, so I got his name. ADRIAN that was rude and inconsiderate. To management, I visit this store at least once a week and it's unfortunate that this is the service your staff provides. Do better in hiring and coaching. read more

I haven't paid attention to whether Target stores have the same store layout plan. One thing I had observed was the $1 items are always displayed as soon as you enter the store. Not the very best strategic placement from a consumer's stand point especially if young kids are involved!! But I love it lol. I love the deals on stuff that I don't need ! The store manger could care less if there are incidents that are reported in her store. Two of us pregnant women had some broom and dust pan thrown at us for no reason while shopping and we tried to report it. All she said was there is nothing I can do but they were kicked out. Immediately after we were walking away, they cracked up with each other and obviously did not care. This is not okay. They didn't even ask if we were okay. Really enjoy shopping at this Target the staff is always kind and courteous not to mention extremely helpful. I had not been in here for a couple years and the reason was because the last time I remember coming there was this rude foul mouthed disrespectful employee that was speaking and acting very inappropriate to me and my friends and had no customer service or what seemed to be respect for any customers. In the check out haha idk why but there is usually only one or two lanes open when they have 20 registers they can use. And the line goes into the kids clothing and the card section. I asked if they had it in another store and they told me I can look for it online. Then I went to go and get an icy and I was told the person called off so nobody's working back there. One of my favorite Target's in the Fontana area. The shopping center has pretty much everything you need in walkable distance. Once you make it past the crazy parking lot, this Target has well stocked shelves & plenty of carts. Stopping off in the front for some fresh popped popcorn is an absolute must. We were able to find exactly what we needed with plenty of selection. Finally able to buy my son some proper shoes in multiple different sizes at a great clearance price via Cat & Jack. Even if the lines are long, staff always makes sure the lines move quickly & efficiently. Love this Target location! read more

This is probably one of thee worst Targets, I stopped coming to shop to this one a couple years back and only entered to pick up my family's prescriptions but recently decided to just shop there since going to Rancho is a bit out of the way sometimes. This location is filthy, unorganized, bathrooms are disgusting, toilet paper and toilet seat covers everywhere and clogging the toilet (I actually contacted corporate Target regarding this but obviously nothing was done). A lot of the people that go there are super ghetto and rude as if they've never been taught common courtesy or decency. The employees are kids who also don't know how to communicate and/or act professionally. I blame this all on management, a good manager or managers know how to keep a place of business in order, emphasize customer service and know how to provide a clean establishment. Let's also not forget the lines that are super long... not sure if this is lack of staff, lack of organization or simply overpopulation of the area, whatever the reason, I suggest skipping this place if you have any sense and just go to Rancho or even Upland. The only plus of this Target is the CVS pharmacy staff, they're always great and super friendly. read more

Located in the Falcon Ridge Town center right off the 15 Freeway, with a large parking lot. Satisfied with drive-up orders. Usually picked up in roughly 10 min, so no problems there. I am deducting 2 stars because of the in-store shopping. This place is often busy and they have I think around 15 or so registers available, but even with long lines just about 4 are open. So there is definitely room for improvement in managing the checkout area. The same goes for the customer service area, which tends to have long lines. The other thing that stood out to me today, was how understocked and empty the grocery area was (see photos), especially since I was there about 1:00PM, so we are not even talking end of day ... There was also a lot of stuff laying around that does not belong near food. The other departments seemed clean and well stocked. read more

As a loyal customer for over seven years, having spent more than $100,000 at this center, I'm extremely disappointed with the treatment I've recently received. Despite my long-standing patronage, I've been repeatedly harassed by the security and towing companies contracted by the center's management. Now rules are rules and I understand if I broke them however if you don't enforce them for 7 years are they really rules? The bigger problem is there is no criteria other than "Unauthorized Vehicles". Seems that being a customer authorizes my vehicle. Consider I got zero warning before this tow even with my number in big bold writing on the side of my truck. I drive a 16-foot box van, my daily vehicle for work, and have parked here for years without issue. However, recently my vehicle has been targeted unfairly, resulting in exorbitant fees--nearly $2,000--and the theft of personal items (which I have photo proof of). Allied Universal Security Services and Continental Towing seem to be working together in a coordinated effort to tow vehicles like mine without just cause. In one instance, I parked briefly at the bank, only to receive a warning tag within 6 minutes threatening to tow. Another time, I had to run out of the bank mid-appointment to stop a tow truck aggressively attempting to take my vehicle, causing unnecessary stress and anxiety. Meanwhile, the same security guards continue to ignore vehicles that have been parked here for years, with people living in them. It seems their focus is more on predatory towing than on actual security, which directly harms loyal patrons like myself. This situation has caused immense stress, and I can no longer bring myself or my family to this center, despite it being a place we've enjoyed for years. It's deeply frustrating to feel like this is my only recourse. If anyone disputes this review, I encourage you to address it with the companies you've hired. As a loyal customer, this is how I've been treated, and I hope changes are made to prevent others from going through the same experience. read more

On 12/31/25 I online purchased AirPods for delivery. a empty damaged partially open box was delivered on 1/4/26. I called Target to report this and they said they would look into it and get back with me. A few days later I received an email saying there was nothing they can do about it. I have called and called and they all say there is nothing they can do. Beware of Target's poor customer service. The AirPods cost $105.40. I explained to them that I can't afford to give money to Target. Target told me to file a claim with FedEx. I did that and FedEx said Target would have to file the claim with them. And that FedEx has an agreement with Target that they will not file a claim. I used a $75. gift card and charged $30.40 to my Target acct. I have been a Target customer for over 30 years and holding a Target credit card for over 26 years without any problems. I will not purchase anything else from Target until this is resolved. read more

I love shopping at Target and shop here often. I purchased two pairs of sunglasses as a gift for some family members and made sure to ask the staff if the item was refundable and they were. I attempted to return the unopened glasses with the receipt and was told that the Apple Pay card I used was not working. I was able to prove the last 4 digits on the receipt matched the ones associated to my card that was used for the purchase and was told by the staff member Yesenda or Jesenda that I would only be able to get a refund on a gift card because it was not returning to the Apple Pay. The issues was not anything I did on my part, but she kept insisting I was trying to return the money to a card that I did not use to make the purchase which was false. I was able to prove the last for digits matched the one on the receipt and was in my phone associated with the debt card I showed her connected to the Apple Pay. She never offered to give me cash back since I had the receipt and when I asked for the manager she said she wasn't going to be in until maybe 11 or 12. It was 9am so I asked if she could leave a message for her to call me and she said NO they don't take messages and offered to give me the number to cooperate. I asked her is she was sure about that... and she changed her mind and I told her to give me the number to cooperate and I'll make a formal complaint. Corporate asked me to try to speak to a manager and if they were still unwilling to take the item back, then to dispute it with my bank as a fraudulent charge. When I returned back to the store to try to return the item again and speak to a manager, the employee listened to me, had the same issue I told him I had previously. This time he did what I asked and scanned the receipt in the target app because I used my number and gave me a cash refund.... read more

The restrooms were disgusting, there was toilet paper EVERYWHERE. 2 out of 4 toilets were clogged with toilet paper. In the one of the stalls the roll of toilet paper was on the floor. The trash can was overflowing with dirty paper towels. It was worse than a gas station bathroom. read more

I love target, but the drive up service needs to be changed in how they run things. They were not efficient with the time at all. We were waiting at drive up spot for about an hour! At first, we waited for about 40 minutes and my husband went to seek help. The gentleman told us that they couldn't find our items and was calling the store to have someone bring it out right away. Well, we waited another 10 minutes and my husband had to go buy it in the store. Even with how crazy busy it was in the store, he came out with the item purchased and our order was still not brought to us at drive up. There needs to be more consideration into how this service is run. The wait was outrageous! I will not be using drive up again, it was such a waste of our time! There were at least 10 people in line and one gentleman asked a staff member if she could open another line and she said no and walked away.
