I've been coming to this Target for a very long time. I've seen many changes, but it's still my most favorite location. However, over the last year or so I've had at least 2 occasions where I get home and something is missing that I purchased. This is not okay. My husband had to go back for hamburger, and today my Birthday cards are MIA. This is not OKAY. Also, my daughter experienced this at another location in Brighton where she purchased towels, and they blamed it on her and not the cashier or the store. If you're trying to recoup your losses by taking things from customers....this is not OKAY!!!! You need to watch the cashiers like a hawk. read more

Lilianna in the deli is an absolute angel. She's always super positive and happy. I order my deli meats shaved which is a pain and extra work but she is always ready happy to do it. Amazing person. read more

Their cashier, Emily needs to be re-trained on how to bag grocery items. She threw all of my items in bags incorrectly. Baby food with cleaning products! Bread with bottled water and other heavy food items. I had to go back to the store twice. Once for smashed bread, and again for milk with a hole in it, that I saw once home. The girl at the front of the store was kind, and so was customer service. Emily, however gave the worst customer service I have experienced. I politely asked her to put my items in more bags and she completely ignored me. Unacceptable.. read more

Once upon a time, Samantha K. was a happy little Yelper walking into work with her pumpkin spice latte when tragedy struck-- her pumpkin spice latte lid came off and her pants were suddenly covered with orange coffee. Because she thought the new girl probably shouldn't look and smell like a coffee covered slob, she quickly did a Yelp search for somewhere that sells khakis and is open at 8 AM. Super Target to the rescue! When she arrived, an obsevant checker noticed her plight and pointed her towards the pants section. The dressing room attendant kindly asked if there was anything she could do to help. The checker provided a bag for the coffee-drenched pants, helpfully suggested using oxiclean and promised Samantha K.'s day would go up from there. Samantha K. changed her pants and rushed back to work, only $19 poorer and only half an hour behind schedule. Thanks to Target's friendly service, ample parking and surprisingly good clothes selection, her coworkers do not have to know she is a klutz quite yet. read more

I always love Target... their brands are better, their staff is better, their lines are shorter, and the stores are always super clean. I wouldn't have written a review on something so obvious. We all know Target is the better choice when you can't shop local for something you need/want/just gotta have. I bought a microwave in January that was leftover from a Black Friday deal. This morning the thing went poltergeist on me and just turned on and would not turn off (even if you unplug it and plug it back in, HELLO! FIRE HAZARD). Of course, like any other human, I threw the box and receipt away once I got home and it worked for a week. As soon as I realized that I didn't have the receipt this morning, I got livid. I knew trying to get a new microwave was going to be the biggest pain in my ass ever. I lugged the thing into my car, and drove right back to the Target I bought it from. Let me just say how embarrassing and awkward it is to walk around with a microwave. Cue the heavenly angels, I get to the Customer Service desk where Billy is super kind, and doesn't make me feel like an idiot at all. He calls over a manager who suggests that I find the box of the microwave and a new one if I wanted to get a different one to exchange it with. I go to the back, and the microwave I bought in January is no longer in the store. I ponder a while (Realizing that I can't cook a Lean Cuisine without a microwave, I knew I was going to have to suck it up and buy one anyways. Grr.) and decide to just pick up a low end model that is similar to the one I was returning. I bring it back up to the Customer Service people, fully expecting the "Sorry, we can't help you" shrug. NOPE! A manager, red headed Katie, came over, made me feel super great about being so calm about it all, and hooked me right up with the new microwave at a very discounted price. They took the busted one, threw it away for me, and got me out the door with a new (hopefully functioning) microwave for $18. I love good customer service, I love when people smile when they talk to you, and I LOVE when my mood goes from drab to fantastic at a store. And I never expected this trying to return a busted Lean Cuisine Machine without a receipt. Billy and Katie, thank you. Thank you so very much for being so sweet and not making me feel like a total idiot. I called the store manager to let him know how over the moon happy I am with how smoothly the transaction went and to let them know how awesome Billy and Katie were... but I wanted to get this review up here so they could see it (in case the sincere and insane praise I have for them doesn't trickle down). I love target! Specifically this location. Why??? They sell alcohol here! Target also has their own brand of box wine that you can get. I know what your thinking... "box wine? Gross!" You have got to pick some of these up because they are amazing. They come in 3 different sizes: a large box, a medium box, and you can also buy a pack of 4 juice type boxes - which are the greatest invention. Prices are decent. My favorites are the Pinot Grigio and the Red Sangria. read more

Glendale Super Target - my good friend - we've had so much fun together. I see Super Target more than most of my actual friends. There are phases in my life when I try to record all of my expenses in Quicken and every time I do, I'm shocked at how much I spend at this store. My wife and I have ratings for various Target stores and the most ominous of them get labeled "Dark Target". Dark in the sense of ominous and devoid of life. The Target down on County Line and University is a "Dark Target" for example. Glendale's Super Target is on the other end of the spectrum - happy and full of excitement. In addition to the standard Target items like clothing, toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc, the Super Target adds groceries, Starbucks, and a pharmacy. The Glendale Super Target also has a pilot feature: wine, beer, and liquor sales. My only complaint is that the drug store type items are limited in selection and I can't really do all of my grocery shopping there. I usually stock up on dry goods like cereal and crackers - they seem to be the best price. Last tidbit - great people watching! read more

SUPER DEALS ON CLEARANCE ITEMS While I found some cheap stuff on the women's clearance racks, I found the athletic department to be a complete disaster area. Things were just thrown everywhere with no rhyme or reason, just set out haphazardly. This made looking for sports bras very difficult and if I was on a time schedule I would have passed up this department completely. Convenient location right off Colorado, so if running errands a good place to stop any time of the day. read more

Ordered curbside pickup at 7:30am. Order wasn't ready by 6:30pm. Husband was already at the store on his was home from work, but was told he couldn't collect the items himself because it needed to be done by the 'fulfillment center' and they were behind by almost 24 hours. Would have been nice to receive a courtesy email to keep me informed at least. Had to cancel my order online, lose my 5% birthday discount and have him rebuy in store. Man I love me some Super Target. Recently I was stuck at a La Quinta for a week due to work issues. I was in a room with no kitchen and nearby was this Super Target. They have prepackaged food that basically saved my life and wallet. For about a week I was going to target to get a wrap, sushi, salad, drinks, snacks, fruit, and bread. I was able to not eat out, technically, so much and save money. Their salads are $3.99. Their wraps are $5 I believe. Their sushi is in the $7-9 price range. On top of all this...is an entire Target store. Now let's be honest, who can buy a lot of crap at target. They are all about the same and same level of awesomeness. Oh, I totally love it! i can't believe how awesome this store is! It has everything I'd ever need. I go there every week and it's amazing that there's like, something new there every time I go! And like, the people who work there are soooo nice. Like seriously, they are so sweet and kind. There was this really old lady who (I think) slipped and fell. i only saw her on the ground, I didn't see her slip/fall, etc but I saw the friendly angels in their red shirts help her up and pick up her groceries for her. I don't know why she wasn't using one of those electric cart thingies. I noticed that the produce has been getting more expensive but at least it's really good quality stuff and isn't old and wrinkled like some other places. Also, there's like this really cute guy that works there but I never have enough courage to give him my number no matter how many times he smiles at me! read more

Love it! Im basically a Target addict and this one is one of the best. I love the way its organized and their grocery is extensive and fabulous. A lot of healthy choices and vegetarian stuff that is hard to find other places. It is not cramped and cluttered like some other targets. By far my favorite one! I must admit I'm a bit of an addict.... a Super Target addict. I have seriously considered pitching a tent ( which I could easily find here) and just setting up house in the parking lot. I decided long ago (well, after they got their liquor license) that one could easily survive in a Super Target for all eternity. It gives one stop shopping new meaning! Okay,okay, yes, I KNOW I should be giving as much of my business to LOCAL shop owners..and I DO!!! Hence some of my earlier reviews. I do however argue that I can divide my devotion and save a lot of money too. Now we all know Target has fun seasonal stuff and it's reasonably priced. This is great for sand toys or mittens or say.... Egg Nog. Anyway they also have great deals on Cd's and movies and stuff like that. I think I bought my nephew a DVD at Christmas for 8 bucks.Don't even get me started on their post holiday sales...80% off??? OK! Also,their kids clothes are very very well priced and actually stand up to what a child does to their clothing!!! This is great because a value just isn't a value if your kid's shorts unravel after just one wash. The real value here is the price of groceries...SERIOUSLY !!! I have spent a lot of time grocery shopping in my career as a mommy. Super Target has the cheapest prices on groceries hands down. I have been to all the other chains and done the research. If you can get in and out ( and here's the hard part) WITHOUT wandering to the shoe section you will save yourself some dough on groceries. Their store brand names, Market Pantry and Archer Farms are both high quality and another great way to save, from their fruit strips to the kitty litter the Target brand is every bit as good as name brands. Okay, so all in all I say check it out yourself. Try and avoid a weekend at this particular location cuz everyone in the universe and their aunt is here but it's tolerable, sorta. The friendly clerks make up for it and I cannot think of a single negative experience I have had with any of them. They chit chat with my kids and me while happily filling my reusable bags. I'd say that's a pretty good record considering I am here 3 or so times a week, every week for about 5 years now...go ahead do the math! My long love affair with Target is over. I'm done. They sell the same cheap ass Chinese plastic crap that Walmart does, but 5% more expensive and in nicer packaging. The Target "style" is done. Years ago as a scrappy upstart to Walmart it was an appealing place for us yuppies to go, but that was then. Like Home Depot, I think Target Corp. just burned alot of cash early on for branding reasons and is now recouping it. There used to be a quality difference b/w your regular big box and Target, no longer. This particular Super Target's grocery section is particularly weak, I can't put my finger on it, but they just stock the wrong things. It's awesome that you can buy booze here, but that is not a feather in the store's cap, it's just some antiquated religious bullshit law (BTW we should be talking to our representative about that). Nevertheless I would still shop here semiregularly and get random housewares or cheap clothes. That is until my wedding registry. I won't recount the story here, as there are not enough bytes on the internet for my rage. In short, Target botches it, we get tons of duplicate gifts (lamps, pillow and shit) which we cannot return even though they are Target brand and unopened. Most of it is still in the cellar. Suffice it to say Target should, as it is now, generally be avoided for purchases that you may want to return becuase you usually can't. read more

This is the closest Target to my house and I enjoy going every single time! I always find good deals and they literally have almost EVERYTHING you could possible want or think of. I also like the fact that they have a grocery section as well. It makes snagging your cleaning supplies AND groceries together a breeze. The prices are comparable to the grocery stores that I always go to, so it's never a "oh, I'll just get it at (insert grocery store here) because its cheaper". Being from Illinois, I wasn't aware of this law until moving to Colorado in the early fall. Apparently Target is the only store in its area that can sell alcohol at its full content (beer and liquor). One time my boyfriend and I were grocery shopping at the local King Soopers and we were about to buy some beer when a sales associate that happened to be stocking the beer walked over to us and said "you know its only half its alcohol content, right?" We had absolutely no idea. Then he let us know that this Target is the only store in the area that can sell it at full content. Such a helpful tip! I want to know I'm truly getting what I pay for with alcohol, and not getting jipped out of its full content. With that being said, this Target is definitely an awesome choice for a one-stop shop. The cashiers and associates are all super friendly, helpful, and quick at the checkout. They have it all and then some. If you haven't been to this location, you need to stop by and see what you're missing! read more

This is the closest grocery to my home and yesterday evening I lost my phone on a target run. I was obviously frantic to find it and eventually I did. In the process I went to the target customer service center and the two girls working were so very supportive kind and helpful. The one employee even let me use her phone so I could turn mine to lost mode and lock it. This was Saturday night 9/8/18 at the Glendale Target. I'm surprised that I haven't written a review for this Target yet. I've been going here since I moved to Denver. Heck, when I worked at the JCC, I stopped here regularly on my way home. Anyway, this Super Target is fantastic. It's recently renovated and well laid out. Additionally they sell alcohol which is great, but what really impresses me is they sell Certified Humane chicken and beef at reasonable prices. Take THAT Whole Foods! This location can get ridiculously busy and parking can be a pain, so one star off for that. read more

It's not the best selection of alcohol, and some things can be priced a little high, but when it's on sale... Booyah. It gets a little crazy jam packed here, with all of the soccer mom MILFs in their high heels, the millions of kids prancing and yelling away, and the abundance of 10-member families crowding up my aisles. But this place is huge, so I somehow don't mind the crying children. I am in my oasis of Target bliss. I might be able to live here, due to the Starbucks, Pizza Hut pizzas from the Target café, and the abundant grocery store. I'll refrain, since technically, I have a place to live. My confession too is that I love Target!!!! They do have everything there and the prices aren't half bad. Of all the evil mega-mart corporations, Target is the best and classiest. They have cool clothes (don't tell anyone I buy my clothes there). Oh, and their store brand of underwear, the name is escaping me, is the most comfortable.....now I'm sharing too much....but it really is the best. J They also have a great toy selection! I'm a big kid at heart, and can always find the latest action figures there. I'm collecting the toys for my unborn son, who is due on December 6, 2007. Naw, that's another excuse. Actually I'm going to have to start buying two of everything so we don't fight over toys. Target's music selection is pretty good. They have a lot of the newer titles and they sometimes have up and coming bands cd's for a good price. I rarely buy music there though. I don't mind spending a little extra money to support the local music stores. I'm a musician, and those small stores carry my band's (Skapegoat) cd's, so I have to support them. Target also has cool household items, fresh veggies, and did I mention the store brand underwear is the best. My only complaint is that the wait at the cash register is sometimes very long. read more

Target makes me WANT to shop. I do not like to shop, I'm a typical guy. The bright store and very thoughtfully designed everything. I'm pretty sure Target has put every possible requirement into their new stores to make shoppers happy and get them what they need before they even built it. I'm a designer and they have it all going on. I like that I can buy groceries and other items all in one stop. Target is many steps above Wal-Mart and a few steps below Whole Foods. NEVER wear a red shirt to Target. No matter what else you are wearing people will think you work there. Even in shorts, a hat and flip flops I am asked where to find things in the store. Really? I have a day job people! I like that they sell booze; always a plus for when you are buying party supplies. One stop shop! Beyond that there's nothing outstanding or overtly awful about this Super Target. Prices are decent; usually there are some good DVD sales which is nice. Way cool that the parking lot is big enough to accommodate the large number of people who shop here. Checkout lines generally move pretty fast and employees are nice. But really, you've been to one Target you've been to them all. If in the neighborhood I'll stop in to check out the sales and the workout clothes. read more

I love Target-it's like a classier Wal-Mart. Everything in on place, great deals, and none of the crazy people that Wal-Mart attracts (in case you didn't know, there's an entire website devoted to such a thing) This place probably has everything you could need when you have to go shopping. Good clothes for good prices, including some cool/funny graphic tees for as little as $5, nice dress shirts, even pajamas. The electronics department is quite awesome as well, a good amount of movies featuring a shelf that has some good stuff for something like $4.75, plus of course your video games, camcorders, etc. The home/bath section has it all too and is a hell of a lot cheaper than Bed, Bath & Beyond. Comfy towels, badass shower curtains (I used to have one that featured the NYC skyline), bedding, you name it. And then there's the grocery section, which is glorious. Everything you can find at Safeway (maybe even a little more), but unlike Safeway they have a liquor/beer aisle that is just plain awesome. The one thing I miss is when they had individual beers for around $2 each so you could mix and match and not have to buy at least 6. Still, great selection. Great stuff all around! read more

This thing is massive, easily one of the biggest Targets I've ever been in. Even though it's so huge though, it still holds up to the standards I've come to expect from Target. That is helpful staff and a clean building. This is my go to stop for all my generic needs, it can get busy, hectically so, which is why I docked a point. That really isn't there fault though, for them being busy is a good thing. An interesting fact I learned about this place, it's seemingly the only Target in the State that sells liquor. I've yet to purchase any from there, but the prices seem reasonable enough. read more

I mostly love Tar-Jay. I love their prices. I love that I can buy my groceries with a side of cheap and relatively cool clothes and an extra helping of Guitar Hero. I love that I can't get out of there without dropping a minimum of $100, but for that $100 I'm going to get a heck of a lot. What I do NOT love about Tar-Jay is their return policy. Believe it or not, you can only return/exchange two items PER YEAR there. I think there's a "without receipt" caveat attached to this rule, but I'm not positive. And even if you accidentally bought the wrong size and just want to grab the EXACT SAME ITEM in a smaller size but you don't have the receipt... well, you're S.O.L. if you've already hit that two item limit. I'm so not even kidding. I'd say it was only me-- that I was "marked" somehow in their system because of the one time I actually DID pull off a Return Coup d'Etat of epic proportions by returning a used-all-summer above-ground swimming pool crammed into two shopping carts, a mess of tangled bars and vinyl, with a "why yes, I DO have the receipt!" and a smile-- ...but that'd just be silly. It fits the bill of a Target. Better than the Walmart crowd, but still, the mommy-set is pretty out of control here. We do our "staple" shopping here, but steer clear of the meat and veg areas. Why? Pathetic selections. For everything else, it's not too bad. Head on down the road and treat yourself to some real fruits and vegetables at the Sunflower Market by Colorado and Yale. read more

I am a fan of this Super Target! Not only is it conveniently located right off of Alameda and Colorado, but they have a decent selection of anything and everything you could image needing to pick up. Every time I roll in, I always end up finding something new that I don't necessarily need, but either looks tasty or I could find some use for. Also, as others have mentioned, they have alcohol at this location. Not the best selection (as it is only down one aisle), however, it is pretty convenient to pick up a 6-pack and cut out that extra trip t the liquor store. The two things I will advise caution: 1. If coming out of Cherry Creek or downtown on 1st Ave turning into Alameda, watch out for all of the crazies attempting to turn into the Walgreens/24 hour/street to turn into the Target shopping area. I have had many near misses from Denver drivers who love to cut you off, come to a complete stop to turn into their destination. 2. The parking lot can sometimes get a bit hairy on weekends or around a major cooking holiday. Aside from those minor snafus, this is my go-to Target store. The layout is super easy to navigate and alcohol. Who could ask for anything else!?! read more

I've lived here for 5 years and quickly deemed this store the Super Hot Target. What is with all the good looking people that shop there??? Any place where I can buy an apple, jewelry, cards, gadgets, make up, clothes, a frying pan, jelly beans, a lamp and dog food is all good in my book! While the clientele may not be as drool-worthy as they used to be (I'm married now, so maybe I'm not looking at the crowd - instead, am noticing the killer deal on the double package of Colgate), parking is a nightmare on the weekend, and I hate Colorado Blvd as a whole, I still love to hit this place up. Not sure why when I go for something as insignificant as a 3-pack of my favorite stride gum (sweet peppermint), I still leave there with $60 less in my pocket? read more

My love affair with Target has always been present in my life, but Super Target? How can Target get anymore super? For Christmas and birthdays, my parents usually get me a gift card for Target and I consider it to be one of the best gifts ever. I am able to go get shoes, clothes, stuff for the home, and groceries all in one trip. I also love their Archer Farms line of grocery items which I believe can only be found at Target. The only downfall to this place is it can be SO busy. In fact, I avoid it at all costs during the weekends and around holidays. It is almost impossible to park and when I try I feel like running people over who are in lala land and don't realize that cars are everywhere and they should probably move a little quicker. I think the ideal time to come here is on a weekday around 10 am. At least that's when I have had the most luck with avoiding the masses. read more

Worst Target in the Denver Area... Target usually has great stores and I do shop them rather than Wal-Mart. But this store has rude employees who do not answer questions for you and good luck in getting help to find something. The store did not also answer another phone call a day later asking about a TV and speakers after we waiting 10 minutes. The Northfield Target, Havana Target, Southlands Target, Aurora Town Center Targets are all great locations and this store should send some of its employees to these stores for training. I'm so glad I created my baby registry with Target. Great customer service! They had a little goodie bag for creating a baby registry and a gift card. I also registered at another store but comparing the two: Target was by far the best. The most % off for completion reward and I think I can return things on my registry for up to a year (which is awesome). I like this location. Friendly staff and good selection. read more

I did a quick search on my phone and saw that Amazon would beat their price with free shipping. So I asked if they would match the price and the answer was a prompt no. Worker Hank from the electronics department was extremely aggressive and agitated. When my friend and I went to get a Switch which we were in line for for 30 minutes before open and waiting for months to get one, Hank rudely told us there was one switch per household and he wouldn't sell us two because we were simply together. We don't live together and drivers licenses proved that. We simply just wanted to get a switch to play together. Very poor service, Hank was extremely agitated and I was very disappointed in Target's employee. read more
