I love Target they have a lot cool items to buy in the store the service is nice and friendly

This Target location is really lacking in customer service. It's mostly a bunch of kids working there and not very personable. I've only encountered 2 well-mannered employees and that's during drive-up orders-- a young man named Diego being one of them. The store itself isn't well organized. It honestly feels like all the Salinas people come here and just terrorize the place. There definitely needs to be more employees on the floor throughout the day to keep things organized. Another thing that doesn't make sense is the dressing rooms not being open until later in the morning; it's really inconvenient if you're an early shopper. The Marina Target is easily one of the nicest in the area, delivering consistently pleasant shopping experiences! The store is clean and well-stocked with a broad range of products, sizes, and options, though I recently noticed a lack of "clean ingredient" almond milk brands like Almond Malk and Koala. The staff has been outstanding lately! Friendly, approachable, and always ready to assist with genuine greetings. While the clothing sections were sometimes messy in the past, they've been far more organized recently. I've found some items here that are less expensive than at other stores, especially during sales, making it a great value. Compared to the Capitola or Watsonville locations, Marina's Target is a standout--visit those, and you'll likely return here with zero complaints! The women's bathroom could use a makeover, but overall, this store is a gem and I'm so glad it'll be my "go-to" as a CSUMB student. read more

Living in Salinas for 45 years, i oftentimes stopped into this Target on my way to Carmel. It is such a big store, with everything i need. And the prices are best prices on the central coast. From toothpaste to electric shavers to greeting cards plus 1,000 other items. I especially loved shopping here at Christmas time because they carry all the decor items i need. From fake trees to ornaments to outdoor lighting. They havr it all. Friendly stsff members and they kerp the place very clean inside and out. read more

This is store like most targets is very short staffed and always one or two self checkout are out of order. They never have more than to registers open. Not sure why they have those other registers. I try not to shop here due to their lack of DEI policies, but I go to get my prescriptions. I shop at Trader Joe's now that they are near my community thankfully. read more

target is an overly prices 2020 dream that stayed there. we have robot like staff and expensive little starbucks in wach of them and I can feel the staff telling me to wear a mask like the pandemic days. Other customers look at you like you work there because they're hoping I can unlock the product they want to buy, the Apple device section is just plastic cards with codes to their website. Come on Target! If I wanted to shop from home would I be in your store? I gave up on my shopping experience since Target wasn't excited I was there. However my mind was set on making a purchase today so I thought maybe I'll just get a bite to eat. Dumb idea. The very small hot food area was unmanned and seemed like left overs from a Pizza Hut. No one around to ring you up, just a computerized self checkout option for leftover Pizza Hit scraps. I won't soon forget how strange retail has become. I won't be back. Incredibly rude girl at the pickup. I ordered a medical item online and for pickup for PRIVACY. I get an email that my order was ready so I go to pick it up. My order isn't ready so she goes to grab it and doesn't even bag it even though I paid for a bag. When I told her "i paid for a bag" she literally just LAUGHS. I just quickly walked out because I was so embarrassed and about to cry. read more

The king size stall in the men's bathroom has had an issue for long time. The toilet paper dispenser is broken every time I visit, leading to toilet paper on the floor and messes everywhere. I don't understand why they can't just replace it. Would make my experience so much better. read more

I came today with my hopes as high as the sky ready to purchase a Black Friday deal which was an iPad 10th generation color pink and the Apple Pencil for only 439.98 and I was super exited because I saw it in the website so I just thought that it would be better to buy it in person I get there and first thing that happened was that nobody was there to support customers and there's a little sensor that can call for a worker there I was there for about 15 minutes just waiting until I went to ask for help and they said that they would send somebody to help Me out and it took another 10 minutes for the help To get there and I ask all hyped for the item and they told me that they didn't have it in stock they just said for delivery and that it would get here 11/29 and I just said thank you and walked away next thing I do is go on the website and purchase it and I got it worst service ever read more

I'll swing by this Target on occasion but I usually go to the one in Sand City and my visit today confirmed why. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day or day of the week you go, the lines to check out are ridiculously long; self check out is always about 15-deep and they only have ONE cashier lane open that's also 15-deep. So, a simple trip to pick up essentials turned into an hour-long waiting game. read more

This Target in Marina is alright but not great. Customer service at this location is hit or miss if you can even find someone to assist you. Oftentimes aisles have big carts full of merchandise that the night crew didn't put on the shelves as stock. I also have noticed many empty shelves at this location. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting and there was faeces on the floor along with toilet paper and trash. Absolutely nasty. Management here needs to be replaced and they need to get someone who is strict and who will support staff as well as being helpful towards the customers. This is just your average store and nothing more. read more

After going to various stores that had zero copies of "Zack Snyder's Justice League" in 4k, this morning and then in the afternoon just to be told they were sold out I decided to give this location a try. My experience with guests/customer relations department at this target was awesome! They listened to my issue that I had finding this product and they delivered and quickly resolved it - third world problems I know haha. She quickly sent an employee to the stock room to see if they had any copies in the back and BOOM! BEHOLD! they had it! I still collect physical media and I will keep supporting it, I refuse to go digital. I'm happy to own a physical copy of one of the greatest movies I have even seen. The Snyder cut is a much much better film than Joss Whedons debacle that we got back in 2017. Because it builds up to every character and portrays their super powers in the best way possible. Also has serious moments that weaves you into the film while having you relate every heroes sacrifice and journey. In conclusion; I would like to thank the lady in the customer relations department for helping me and made sure I left with what I came in for. read more

My wife placed an online order over an hour ago. I got a haircut. I stopped at home to grab a delivery. Then I went to Target. I texted her please put spot#1 in the app. She replies the order is not ready. Ok fair enough I though, so how long until it is? It doesn't say...,what? So i stop one of the order bring out to the car guys and asked him he said yeah it says we have the order. I asked ok so when will it be ready? I don't know the guy says. I said ok im here with my 8 month old baby sitting in the car waiting for you to do what essentially I could do myself but Target has online only deals. Its a scam to rip off people who shop in the stores and make the online shoppers deal with the idiots of this world. Fix your stupid system to have an ETA at the very least! Even my haircut place gives me an eta on the mobile app. Target needs to step it up massively. Poor comunication, poor customer service, wasteful deals only if you are online. The employees here are friendly and helpful. The store is laid out as most all Targets in a way that help you to find what you need quickly and efficiently. During COVID-19 there are many shelves lacking product. I find it odd that there is only one available hand mixer and very few frying pans available for purchase. I prefer the Marina location over the Salinas location. read more

I enjoy shopping at this target vs Sand City. This one has easier parking and is less busy it seems on the weekends. The staff are also more friendly and the store is cleaner and less cluttered. The sales tax is also cheaper in Marina so you are saving a bit more at checkout read more

On Friday April 1st at 8:45am my husband and I stopped in to buy some Benadryl and grab a coffee. I asked the barista Kara for a 3 pump white mocha 3 pump toffee nut iced. She writes something on the cup the other barista Elizabeth puts 6 pumps white mocha and 2 pumps toffee nut. I told her "I asked for 3 and 3." She got hella nasty and said "what you're counting my pumps" like it was some huge invasion of privacy. We kept going back and forth then Kara grabs the receipt and holds it up yelling "you need to take this to customer service because we are not serving you." My husband takes it and walks over and Elizabeth is yelling at me telling me if I was nicer to her when she was making my drink maybe there wouldn't be a problem. I got pissed after that because I never lost my cool so I took my phone and took their picture. Kara yells at me saying "you can't take her picture you don't have our permission." I told her she's in public I can take her picture if I want." She leaps onto the counter and rips my phone out of my hand. I start yelling "who the f**k do you think you are? Give me my effing phone back." Then 2 target workers (the general manager, and head of loss prevention) jumped between us and told the girls to go into another room. My husband and I explained everything to the two gentlemen and we were told they would review the cameras and contact us later in the day. NOT ONCE... NOT ONCE.. let me repeat it a third time, NOT ONCE did either man or ANYONE else in that store apologize for what happened. I was crying and having a panic attack and nothing comforting or apologetic was ever uttered. We NEVER got a call back. My husband had to call and spoke with the loss prevention guy and he never even apologized to my husband. He told my husband it was escalated to the higher corporate. I called corporate at 11:48am today and was told there was NEVER a case made and no information was ever reported. A simple I'm sorry was all I was ever looking for. What a disgusting store with such disgusting staff that has completely changed my view on Target forever. GREAT JOB TARGET CORPORATE FOR HIRING SUCH HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES!!! I wish it would let me leave it at 0 stars because it was the worst experience I've ever had. read more

I love going to target but recently that bathrooms have been gross. There's toilet paper everywhere, it smell really bad and just dirty. I swear I think the Walmart bathrooms are cleaner that these bathrooms. I feel like this target used to be super nice and is now going downhill. We were finishing some Christmas shopping and ended up at this Target. Not only did this store have good parking, but this Target was also well-stocked and clean. When I needed to find something, there were a couple of friendly sales associates ready to help. I ended up finding everything I needed pretty quickly, and the cashiers were really nice as well. I also liked that there was a clean Starbucks and Pizza Hut here. This has got to one of the nicest Target stores that I've ever been too. Not only only were all of the employees I ran into really friendly and helpful, but the store was really clean and organized. I will definitely be shopping here again! read more

I cannot come off the 5 star rating I posted for this store previously. This morning we made an online order for delivery to the car. Despite the clumsy phone app the shopping event worked like clockwork. Within 5 minutes after we arrived a very polite and perky customer service rep emerged from the front door, opened the back hatch and closed it up tight. I can't mark them down even though the store shopper messed up our ground coffee item. Thanks Target Marina, you came up big during the pandemic. You earned our loyalty. read more

This Target is sad! An item I wanted was sold out in the bay and the next closest shipping was a week from when I needed it. So the nearest target was in Marina, I called to make sure the order was there and they did a "visual inspection" to make the item was there. It was! All ready and set to go and pick it up. I even placed an online pick up order, the supervisor from guest service told me it'll take roughly 45 minutes to go grab and pick ONE item. It takes an 1.5 hours to get to this location from where I am. So I drive up expecting it to be ready, not only was it not ready, I had to go and pick the item up. And then they said they have to cancel my order for me to be ringed back up for the item I want. Apparently there was 2 people ahead of me in there systems and they couldn't go and pick ONE item. So my options are, cancel my order and wait 4-5 business days to get my money back and have them charge me another 45.00 dollars or wait 4 hrs for my item to be ready. What's even more jacked up is that for the inconvenience they gave me, they didn't even give me discount not even 5 bucks off. They charged me for the full price. Avoid this place. I'm from San Jose and San Jose has better targets then this one. read more

This target is absolutely horrid. We placed a drive up order because they had items in stock that Sand City did not have, thinking their drive up service would be quick and easy like the Sand City's location is. We sat here last night for an hour and a half after it said our order was ready and NO one ever came out to bring us the order. When we asked store employees they claimed it's a different department and not their problem and told us they wouldn't help us. read more

Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting! Toilet paper/toilet seat covers all over the floor and shoe prints of poop. As if someone stepped in it. I went in to grab some makeup items and stumbled upon the new Ulta section they have at Target. Before checking that area out, I checked the general makeup area and picked items that I wasn't fond of but have used before. So I proceeded to the Ulta section, and I found Yesenia! She approached me and asked if I had any questions or needed assistance. I told her I was looking for new items to add to my makeup collection, and she gave me some excellent suggestions and explained everything in great detail without feeling like I had to buy the item. She even walked me to the general makeup area and showed me some of her favorite things while managing the floor and talking to her peers over the radio. She was great, and I'm so thankful for her help... Yesenia, you rock! read more

Went to the store today and selected several items to purchase. Upon entering the area of the checkouts, I could not believe all the people waiting in long lines everywhere. Even the selfcheck line was super long. Why are there not enough clerks to check out all the customers? I became impatient and left my cart in a nearby clothing area. Left the store somewhat disappointed. Plan to go to the Salinas store to purchase the items I tried to buy on Sat. Never have had this problem before. I will continue to shop at the Salinas Target where I never have problems of long checkout lines, plus I live in Salinas. read more

I walked the entire back half of the store and couldn't find a single employee. I called in to the store to get some help and they said they would send someone back to electronics.
