For the amount of curbside orders I've done at this Target location, I've def had some mixed experiences. One visit in particular was really frustrating. I marked that I was on my way got there, checked in with my spot number and waited and waited. After about 10 minutes I started noticing cars that arrived after me were already getting their orders and leaving. This kept happening over and over. Meanwhile, I was on my way to an event in LA and already on a time crunch, so every minute mattered. After waiting over 35 minutes with no updates at all, I tried flagging down employees and even had to honk just to get someone's attention. When someone finally came over, who was actually one of the leads, I was told they couldn't find my item and that employees were still looking for it. That was one of the most frustrating parts that no communication was given. If I had known earlier, I could of just canceled and gone inside or made other plans instead of sitting there pressed for time. That being said, my most recent visit was actually fast and smooth. Everything came out quickly, and the experience was what curbside should be. So overall, it really depends. When it's good, it's great, but when it's not the lack of communication can be a big issue. If I could have left zero stars I would have! Short version is; I was harassed and assaulted by another customer. When I reported it to the cashier requesting Security ASAP, he said he'd call for a Manager, WTF?! I said I was assaulted and needed Security ASAP! I should have just called 911, then have Target explain to the NCPD why their Security didn't respond. After a few min waiting by the Starbucks, neither showed up. The staff has always been helpful here. We came out today to grab some Mother's Day cards, hygiene essentials and their frozen mini quiché. Unfortunately the mini quiché's were wiped out. Uggggh..... This is for the Pizza Hut inside. I tried to find a Yelp just for this Pizza Hut location but there is none. I dont go to Target very often, maybe a few times a year but I make it a point to go to the mini Pizza Hut location here. They even sell huge bags of fresh popcorn for just a few dollars. I got a mini pepperoni pan pizza for $7. It was decent and hits the spot if you're hungry. Always good service here and you get your food rather quickly as most of the time it is premade. read more

I really enjoy walking around looking at all the beautiful things Target sells. From apparel, kitchenware, toys, makeup, bathroom decor, all the candles and even flowers. I love their shopping carts too so convenient to out my drink in the cup holder while I shop around. Staff is friendly. They always have great prices. read more

Service takes along time when the button is pushed to request for assistance. More than 10 minutes of waiting to have someone open a cabinet which stores items for pregnant women, as my wife was needing something. Great value for some. However, some items are overpriced. They should hire more people to restock or organize what's left on the floor. read more

This target is at the one end of the mall. Pretty big but also pretty messy the few times I've been here. They get a lot of traction I suppose. My aunt went into the restroom today and said one stall was not function and the ones that were open were very dirty. I did not enter so not sure. I went to the exchange/return desk to inquire about price matching (for when items have gone down in price within 2 weeks). The workers did not seem to know or understand how to do that. They asked for the physical items but that is not needed, just the physical receipt or your app if you purchases with your target membership. They were nice though but that's something they should already know about and how to complete. They were proactive to find someone to assist them so I appreciate that. read more

Apparently if you buy a container of laundry detergent you'll be stopped 30 feet after a clerk rings you up and asked for your receipt. I usually buy my detergent at Costco where I have a membership and agree to hand the receipt over when I leave, that's not the case with Target. With the many stores that customers have visited many of the stores you can find some of the best groceries and some of the best meat products there are those stores that are the worst with the stores of the Food 4 Less which are the worst to see many things to be placed on the dirty floor which can be very harmful for many foods products. There has been one place that has kept up the standards the one place which has had so many programs for students has hosted many of the VIPs yes that means singers. For today was one day I wanted to come and shop Target the one place that has been featured for many singers and that have release days, and the special programs that students get picked to get to have a personal shopping day with an officer to get the things they need. The many department stores that are switching over to the grocery store welcome for customers, yet the one thing stores need to have is the extra supplies that can supply the grocery areas of the store and the many refrigerators and the meat departments they have to offer customers. Today was my day that I wanted to go and get bath supplies and get groceries with the EBT program that many stores which have now accepting the EBT you can get groceries and if you have cash, you can get bath and or personal needs Items. The one location can be accessed by way of the bus and the large parking lots that you can park close by at the front of the mall and the back area which is close by the San Diego Transit which you can take to the Trolley Centers to get to Plaza Bonita. With the location of the Target Store you can get to the many parking spaces at the front of the mall and the back area you can enter the Target store and the mall connected. When you want a place where you can go clothes shopping and find some of the best food Items that can be from the best bakery and the largest wine selections finding some of the best prices. When I had taken a look at the Plaza Bonita there were many employees helping customers and there were some that were doing orders still helping customers on the floor to find great service was the one thing that I haven't seen at other Target Stores today was the best finding some of the best bargains from finding low-cost bath supplies and deodorant not having to pay high prices. From the clean departments and the grocery departments that were well stocked seeing the many workers that were resupplying and helping customers along the way. There have been so many differences between the Grossmont Center store and the Plaza Bonita is the customer service Plaza Bonita is one that has the great customer service even when you're in the food department to see people to help you out. With Grossmont Center it has been trying to find certain products not finding the products that were carried customer service was not the best searching for managers to speak with about complaints with departments As a Yelp Elite Reviewer, the day was the best to when you come to a store and be greeted in the many departments not having to look for person to help you. The size and the design of the store it has been remodeled with man y departments that have been changed. To see a great store such as Target with clean departments with many great prices and the many new items makes Target Plaza Bonita Mall one of the best stores. read more

I am a Target fan all the way. I shop there ALL THE TIME. This was my first time to this location (other than online pick up). We came for hair gel and to check out the toys. The shelves weren't stocked at all... the pomades that were available had finger prints inside. Things weren't in their place and it was dirty. The floors and entire store were very dirty. I've never been to a dirty Target so this was a first for me. The bathroom was the worst part though. There was pee all over the first stall, no toilet paper, toilet paper and crap all over the floor and it was sticky. There was no soap in the soap dispensers. They had empty bottles of hand soap all around, but they were all empty and all over the sinks. Very disappointed. read more

This unfortunately to me is by far one of the worst targets I've been to in the San diego area since I've lived down here. The restrooms aren't clean. Store isn't very organized. I completely understand a store being busy but that is not an excuse for it to be not maintained or not sanitary. On top of that Target drive up is really poor at this location. Their isn't alot of spaces available for Target drive up. I had to circle for more than 15 minutes just to get a drive up space. Then the wait on the associate to bring my items to the car is another like 20 minutes. They had one guy running all the orders solo. So I a thousand percent can emphasize why it took even longer. Since this location is so busy, there should be more than one person running the items considering as well the store isn't exactly within feet proximity for the orders to be ran back and forth from inside of the store and the cart is small. So that requires for the associate to have to work twice as hard. Clearly management is really poor at this store. They should be ashamed that the outcome is this bad. Treat your associates better and think about their well being so they can be at their best to help customers. read more

Target security was going to escort my children out of the store for shooting a ball into our own cart while I was in the restroom. They didn't even give my children an opportunity to state that they had not just one, but two adults, in the store with them. When asked why they were going to take them out, the Target employees stated they bounced the ball and shot it into the cart. They were not being loud, rude, disrespectful, or unsafe. Even after verifying that they were not causing a problem, they were still going to escort them out while I was in the restroom and my husband was in another aisle. read more

I frequently go to this target for makeup runs, day to day food items or cleaning supplies. I like the convenience of it being next to the mall as I sometimes go there after my shopping and I like that they are open later as it's quieter and not as crowded later in the evenings. However, due to the constant foot traffic, I find that this target location has a hard time staying clean. Every time I walk in, it typically see it unkept and it seems like there isn't enough employees to maintain the establishment. Wish I could see it be a little more cleaner and organized. It also appears that many times they don't have much stocked in the make up section. Shelves literally will be close to empty and this is every time I go. Perhaps their inventory isn't arriving on time or they are just selling so quickly. read more

Like severely understaffed which is comical since my 19 year old engineering student and 6 of his friends have all applied and not one has received a call back. Then let's talk about the bait and switch tactics on their ATT partners where they show a price (147/mo) for a family phone plan then email you that price then you get home and find out you committed to 560/month. But it's not targets fault, nor ATT. Our fault as we apparently should trust salespeople nor emails they send. Customer Service here has been atrocious outside of Sophia last night who was actually a breath of fresh air. Management here is shit, leadership is shit. Probably why no one works at this location. 0 star here. First of all, I ordered online for convenience and Target delivered wrong items so I needed to drive just to return the items. Wasted my gas and time for this. When I was there in customer service, there was a misunderstanding in the total amount of refund. Customer service David (bald white old guy) in return/exchange department is rude and arrogant. It turns out I am right. I figured out myself about my credit card charges when I got home. He just didn't fully explain because he is pissed. If he can't handle his job well, unhappy and doesn't care about the company, he can get out any time. There are so many people needs a job and for sure can handle the customer service very well. I am one of those who worked before in this kind of industry and for almost a decade as a senior supervisor, I never snapped despite of work loads and tiredness. I know "customer is always right" is not the thing anymore which is 100% I agree because some customers are abusive and mean. However, employees should still be reminded especially this guy that customers will always remember the company's name, not theirs..that's why employees should handle it with care. I'd rather go to Walmart instead of this Target branch. read more

I've been shopping here since Toys R Us was still around on the other side of the freeway, and whatever I didn't find there, I will ended up buying here, because for some reasons they always have the item; well time changes everything, they still a big Target location, I would come here before going to the movie theater upstair, just to kill time, lately I didn't find much to buy at the toys section, some of the shelves were pretty empty and no restock had been done. I love Target, but this location has limited items due to how quickly things sell. Although with makeup I question if they bother restocking certain brands as you will see certain aisles with barely any products. For shoes and clothes most common sizes are limited. For other items like food, hygiene, hair etc they tend to have a good amount of stock and selection. Parking is not the best unless you don't mind walking. read more

The supervisor on the floor today did absolutely nothing to help me purchase a sonic amy toy for my daughter. We were ready to purchase and this guy was completely lazy and unempathetic. With all the political backlash you are getting as a company-as someone who still is a customer through it all- I am beyond disappointed. I honestly think he got off a little bit on my daughter's devastation and he enjoyed making her cry. I wanted to ask for the manager but didn't want to devastate my daughter any further than he already did. I don't like to go to the mall on Saturday because it's always so busy. Today I walked in to target the return line was 10 people long. I thought I'll give it 10 min if not I'm out. Well let me tell you David (target employee) was manning the line. This guy was the most efficient I've ever seen an employee be. In less than 10 min I was at the front and he was helping me with my return. He showed me how to use my target wallet code so I didn't have to pull up every receipt separately. Not the greatest service, hard to find the products and costumer service is not the best strength. Something that I notice is that many male workers harass their female coworkers. I saw it when a guy started to make inappropriate comments and the coworker was clearly uncomfortable. I have also heard the story of female coworkers getting harassed in their job space. Is really bad because the company is not doing anything to stop that and the workers that have been reported are still working there.
