Lines at self serve but two cashier lines were open. The young lady helping me was very helpful, engaging and personable. 5 stars for the customer service. 4 stars for the store. Long line at self checkout. Only one register open with long line and associate is engaging in conversation to make it a bit more tolerable while she's being as efficient as she can. The customers appreciate her attitude. This Target is often like this. 12 in self checkout, 9 in the register line, no manager in sight. 7 minutes in line and the line at both checkout and this register is longer, this register's line is almost double. Finally, as I get to my turn (I was 9th when I got in line) a manager finally appears and calls for anyone else who can checker to come up and they open a second line. Not going to stop shopping here, but come on! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. I do love target don't get me wrong and prob will still continue to go. However, can we please figure out the registers and making sure it is staffed during busy times and have people doing a little recovery the place. I know it's the holidays and it will be manic no matter what but each time I go it looks like the world is ending and you get cashiers that is o er stressed because there are two registers open that are at least 10 people deep and the self service area is at least 20 people deep. I get it when o go it is usually a bit latter but how frustrating and stressful for the employee and the customer experience. read more

In all my experiences shopping at Target locations across the country, this is the only store where I consistently have issues with ordering water for pickup. I choose this location when I'm in town due to its proximity to my hotel, but the service has been problematic multiple times. In the past, I've received ripped bags when ordering water--an issue caused by careless packing, not the quality of the bags, as no other location has this problem. On one occasion, I was told they were out of bags, so I walked into the store and grabbed some from the aisle. When I asked why I was told there weren't any, the same person who delivered my order said, "Oh, I don't know, you can take those bags." While it might seem minor, carrying multiple water cases to the hotel without proper bags is frustrating. On another trip, I was told the bags weren't used because "they might break." While true, this only happens due to poor packing. On a third occasion, I received a partial order because they ran out of water. Had I not caught the mistake, I wouldn't have received a refund. Updating the system to reflect inventory takes seconds, yet it wasn't done. I went in looking for a specific item that the app said was in stock at this location. I found one in the wrong size - I asked an employee next to me if they had other sizes and where it was. since it was on a rack that was clearly not the right location. The employee didn't bother checking, and just said "I guess that's the only one" and then walked away from me without helping me at all. I drove 30min to this location. Waste of time. Once a year my wife will tell me to run to Target because it is extremely close to our home and get like one or two things. It is a nice store and is clean and maintained and I would probably go there more often, but....... the lines at the checkouts are always so slow. They literally have like 20 registers up front but they chose to force everyone into the self checkout that usually has a line 20-25 people deep and one other register open. I choose to drive triple+ the distance to go to Harmon's or Smiths and save myself a 15 minute wait. Both of Harmons and Smiths seem to be doing more business than Target and seldom do I have to wait longer than 2-3 minutes. Time is valuable. If Target wishes to continue these practices, I will continue to go the added distance. Any value I might be saving at Target on their products is not worth the wait. Curbside pickup at this location has mostly been a reasonable wait time, friendly, and accurate. Props to the curbside team members! Thank you to the woman this morning who realized one of the bags might spill over and propped it up using other groceries. Made the drive home and unloading easier than had items tumbled out. Good attention to detail is always appreciated. This location is a slightly farther drive for us but it has so many dairy free and vegan options like Silver Hills bakery bread and bagels, harmless harvest coconut water, and sweet earth frozen meals for when we are too busy to cook but don't want to go out that it's worth the extra time because the selection means we can buy everything at Target instead of driving to multiple stores to get all our groceries. If you haven't tried the good and gather rice grain medley it's surprisingly good! The different grains give it a nice texture that makes for a more filling side to meals. We usually get Justin's peanut butter here because it's no sugar or salt added and it's no stir which saves time and messiness but we found a no sugar jif so we're trying that out today. We haven't had issues with the produce yet like some other reviews show, but especially in the summer i can see how that would happen. The only feedback for improvement we would give this store is that sometimes the grocery items are not shelved properly. For food waste mitigation, most stores make sure their stock team shelves new items to the back of the shelf so that items expiring sooner sell sooner. This has not always been the case here. We worry about massive quantities of food expiring here if this isn't fixed. We mentioned it when we were in the store to help out but saw it again our last time in the store so thought we would mention it on here in case it still needs to be addressed. read more

I love Target, especially when comparing to Wal-mart, but this location always seems to struggle a bit. Target tends to have better products, reasonable prices, great atmosphere, etc etc. This target, by default, has the products, pricing, and a starbucks to help with the atmosphere. On the products & pricing -- I especially like all the effort Target has been putting into their own brands. I don't buy my clothes here, but my fiancee does up a few things occasionally. We get a large portion of our groceries & meds here, and the kids' clothing section is fantastic - Target is killin it with their Cat & Jack kids clothing line. Atmosphere though... The checkout lines are always understaffed, and often have VERY slow checkers, the store seems much less clean & put together than other locations, and I've been approached multiple times by random people trying to get me to join multi-level marketing schemes (i know..weird)... That being said, the Target in Fort Union is fantastic. We usually drive the extra few miles for the better experience. read more

I frequently do curbside pickup here. The employees are quick and nice. I never realized how fast Targets curbside pickup was until I started coming to this location. Shortly after I have checked "I'm here," an employee is outside with my order. This most recent visit proves my case. If you want fast curbside pickup, this location is great at it. For those of you who have never done Targets curbside pickup, you order your items though the app and your order is ready within two hours of placing your order. You can pickup your order within a two day window. I like this feature since I do not always know when I will be able to make it to Target to get my order but want to order my things to be ready. This service is for foods and goods that Target has. When you order your items though the app, you can select the location and if here's low inventory of something, the app will tell you. When you're ready to pickup your order, you tap "I'm on my way" and then tap "I'm here" when you arrive at the designated parking location. You enter your stall number so the employee knows where you are. You can edit the information of where you want your items- truck, backseat, passenger side. You also show the employee your code on your phone that the Target app gives you after arriving. When you receive your items, you "sign" for them on your phone and you're done. The Sandy location of Target has definitely won my business for the speed of service. I will be back! read more

The difference between target and SuperTarget is the grocery section. The grocery section is a full supermarket at the super target. Today we came here to get our Thanksgiving turkey. Target is a retailer that stocks the name brand, butterball. many supermarkets will be advertising turkeys for Thanksgiving but few will advertise sales on butterball brand.The butterball deal is, is $1.19 per pound and if you spend $50 in grocery purchases you get a $10 target gift card. Horrible return policy! No return allowed if you don't have a receipt. No return allowed if you do have a receipt but are past 90 days. Most every other store offers at least store credit if you return without a receipt or are out of their return window. A nation wide company as big as Target should offer better customer service. Target offers zero compensation & zero adaptability for their customers past their strict return policy. Perhaps if they were a little more customer friendly, they would have a larger global presence like Walmart. I generally do my Target shopping at the Fort Union location. This one feels a little bigger, but also a little dated. It seems like I see sales associates on the floor more often at the Fort Union location, and they are a little friendlier. Still, Target is Target, and I don't really have any great reason that I prefer the other location. In a day, when so many businesses are improving their customer service , I am going to give a review without being invited. I have noticed that customer service has greatly improved since the pandemic. Unfortunately, I do not find that to be the case at Target in Draper. It is a huge store. It has two entrances two scanning checkout stations and twenty-five checkout stands. Today at 10:00 am., there were quite a few people in the store. One scanning station with about six stations was open at one end of the store. By the time I was finished shopping I walked back to the other end of the store. The one I entered and I would have had to walk clear to the other end of the store to check out. Customer service was at my end, so I asked it someone could open a stand especially for me since I have a physical handicap. Long story, but they said the company will not allow it because they are understaffed and not allowed to open any close to the my exit. I got my purchases out put them in a handicapped cart and rode up to the self check at the other end and checked them out myself, riding the cart all the way back to the other end. This is the worst customer service by a number of employees that I have experienced. I thought I would collapse, but I made it home. Thanks for a forum to express my frustration for myself and other people who struggle with health issues. I will continue to shop at Wallmart where people are generally extremely accommodating. I have received excellent service in the years I have patronized their store. At Target I asked three people for assistance and all of them just made excuses. read more

This Target is just to the north of the mall in a separate shopping center. There's an Old Navy and a Barnes & Noble. Pure strip mall. REI around the corner. I will be the first to admit, I've always had a fond spot for Target stores in general and have always found them to fill a particular niche. In particular, I've always found their DVD/Blu-Ray and media selection in general to be top notch, and much better priced than certain other places too, and the same goes when it comes to small appliances and household items too. Regardless of location, I've always found the consistency, selection and quality of any "Super" Target to be a step above the "chain that must not be named" and this particular store is no exception to that rule and like most Target's it's well laid out overall and easy enough to find what you are looking for. The only thing I never quite get when it comes to Target's that have them is the grocery section. It always seems a bit of an afterthought and just too far out of the way to encourage it being useful when you just want to run in and out for an item, but this is one of the better locations in that regard. read more

My second favorite Target in the valley. It's newly built and nice unlike the one they tried to renovate in Taylorsville that is still a reminder of the 90s. Target. Everything is clean, although I had the hardest time finding garbage bags here, their layout can be confusing. Staff is non intrusive but will help if asked. Love Target!! My only place to get things quick without all the people like Walmart. I get all my pharmacy prescriptions here and the pharmacists are very nice and personable. I come here mostly for: Medicine Snacks School supplies Greeting cards However, Target has gotten a whole remodel. It's incredibly confusing and I hear tons of people saying, "Where is the freaking lotion?!" "All I want are some tissues!" I am totally with them. Target is totally messed up. Yes it's nicer. I am a fan of target in general and more so the super target because in target i usually shop in american fork i dont find produce but in super target i do and they also seem to have more inventory than normal target. Also the thing that attracts me most towards super target and target stores in general is that they have awesome selection of baby products as well as kitchenwares and these are things that my wife and me mostly end up shopping recently and after a lot of searching online and at brick and mortar stores we think we might have hit a sweet spot on the price versus quality graph. The products are good quality and this target is one of the neatest targets i have seen as well. The thing i like about target is that all their products are neatly stacked and easily identifiable as i have never been to a target where i have had difficulty in finding a product i came looking for. Finally this target has starbucks in it and though not the original starbucks store, the coffee still is good and a nice quick hangout spot for the weary shoppers :) Also the best thing about target is their selection of clothes that are good quality but decently priced again and though you would not find the ralph laurens and calvin kleins here you would still have the same quality albeit from a lesser known brand but then if quality and options are good why not right ? :) I am giving 4 stars simply for sheer quality of products and options available apart from option of having fresh and in some cases even organic produce Go here for your unique and in some cases even daily needs ie to super target in sandy for sure read more
