So bright and one of my favorite colors, hot pink! The Garnier Micellar Water Waterproof Makeup Remover and Facial Cleanser is the only thing that removes it! Please take the products out of the locked containers. I press the button for assistance, and time after time nobody comes to assist. This used to be my go-to store. Now it's purely a hassle. For a smaller sized target this was a perfect stop. Has everything such as Starbucks , pharmacy, tech , apparel , grocery and toys however the sections are drastically smaller than many targets. Never the less we found some great deals on candy. read more

Smaller Target than the one by San Rafael-Richmond bridge & Novato locations, very little selection for groceries, but not complaining. It's still wayyyyyyyy better than the days of Dollar Tree + CVS combined when Dollar Tree was in this Marin City plaza. Remember when there was Best Buy and Outback Steakhouse. It gets the job done when shopping for necessities. Plenty of parking, close to SF and open late for Marin. This area has so much potential for great businesses, glad Target moved in. I decided to visit this Target because the website said they still had 3 in stock of the item I needed...AND because all of the Targets in San Francisco to Daly City area ran out of what I needed! Started to feel a little desperate since places I checked online for delivery were out of stock too! So, I decided to make that drive across the bridge to get here. I arrived here around 7:50pm on Friday and it was very empty and small! I'm not used to going to a Target store this small so I was worried they might have ran out of the item I needed too. I ended up finding the item I needed and made sure to get multiples, but they only had 2 and not 3 like what the website said. I was still very happy they had it though! Since it was my first time visiting this Target location, I decided to walk around the whole store to see what else they had. I loved the variety of frozen foods since they had some items that other Target locations don't. They even sell dog friendly icecream at frozen section here! So cool! The few staff I interacted with were also nice. Anyways, those were the positives from my experience; now time for the negatives! One of the bad things I noticed is they have some expired items from 7 months ago out on the shelf, so if you shop here, make sure to CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE! Lots of items from the a certain brand at the supplements section were expired! I know most people don't check when it's an item that lasts a long time. I'd recommend this place if you want a good variety of frozen food brands. It's a very small Target store so there's not a big variety of everything else here, but at least it's clean! read more

A Target with a view of Highway 101. You don't get a great view from other Targets in the Bay Area. This is the first Target that I have seen in the area...beside the one off Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. I only check out this location once. I am impress on how good this location is. It was clean without any spills on their floor. The Starbucks inside kept me awake while I was walking around. The city should be lucky to have a Target. I don't get why the people did not want a Target. I don't think it is hurting small businesses nearby. Target is the place to be at for your everything need. read more

Cute Target, first time at this location because I had to return a broken item and it was on my way home from my commute. Went to the register to return which is nice because I didn't see a specific customer service area- I had to speak with a manager because the defective item I wanted to return was over 90 days (off by 2-3 days) but I mentioned I had just opened my item when I moved Jan 15 22. Abraham really took his time to assist me as he had to call the calling center since it was a special item. Even though I had a chat log from target customer service that I can return the item with no box the man on the line he called wasn't helpful AT ALL kept saying the policy blah blah blah. Abraham mention the customer has a defective item. We ended up not resolving with them and he helped me out getting a refund anyway- Thank you! One star for the absolute worst attitude from a floor supervisor; no clue about customer service or how to talk to customers without being rude and condescending. A shame because a couple of floor staff were helpful and polite but I'm sure not trained by her. Pity they have to work under that condition. read more

I went to this specific store to try and buy an Apple iPhone 15 as an existing Consumer Cellular customer. I approached an employee in the store with my inquiry, and he didn't speak English. I was ok with that because that is a store issue of which I was already aware. He was good enough to try and get another employee who I believe was the store supervisor that day. Keeping in mind I was unaware of this process, the store supervisor (a young woman) curtly told me they did not have Consumer Cellular reps at this store and that I needed to go to the San Rafael store. I of course looked puzzled because-again-I was unaware of any of this. I do not know how any of this works. She then did the "HAVE A GREAT DAY!" line on me like I was some store Karen that she wanted to be rid of! I was very patient and very well behaved, but just surprised and had this "just trying to understand you" look. I guess she does deal with a lot of Karens at that store since she threw that line at me as if she was trying to do an offensive block at what she I guess thought was an oncoming Karen response from me...that did not materialize, as I was polite and I quietly ingested her advice, thanked her politely, and moved on. That store really needs to shape up-definitely the worst of all the Target stores I've been to in the Bay Area. Agree with others who claim they have been racially profiled. Came to this location just to snag a few items, and after waiting in line for over 10 minutes, the cashier decided to cut off the lane right as we were up. To make matters worse, constantly made direct eye contact with a White salesman with longer hair, who refused to check us out and prioritized checking out others who were BEHIND us in line. My apologies to the few staff members that were working, but this is the absolute worst Target I've ever visited. It's not the team members' fault, as they were doing their best, they were just either too new or just lacking management. I had to pick up an internet order, midday on a weekday. The area were I would think was the spot to pick up, was littered with half-full carts, and clutter. There was an order shopper or runner behind the counter, but he was clearly not an employee. He looked irritated because he was trying to navigate the mess. I waited and waited, then asked a clerk at the register, and she told me to go wait in another line behind everyone else. And that didn't feel like the right choice. The man she was waiting on either worked for a company that does returns for people, or he was a scammer with stolen goods, because there were boxes all over her register and and she couldn't figure out what he was returning. So... I wait in another line, and the customers were not in good spirits because of the wait and the confusion. Staff from Starbucks was called over to help, and they were not really up to it. I finally get to the register and she said "oh, you need to go over to the counter (where I was originally,) and then she said "go back to the line over there, (the one where the woman told me to go to THIS line!). I gave up, to the amusement of others caught up in this CF (ifkyk). WORST experience at Target. I'll have to go back and hope that I can get my item. Get it together, Target. New managers? Consistently sell food that is past its expiration date. After living near this Target for almost a year, I have trained myself to check every food item before checking out, after being disappointed with my purchases one too many times after getting home. I just became the target of unfair racial discrimination as a result of carrying my 10lb dog into the store. The security officer approached me, not the other several white customers also with pets, to tell me that dogs weren't allowed in the store except service animals. After asking for proof, he showed me a picture of the small sign posted on their front door (picture attached). I was shocked to be put on the spot like that especially after coming to the store with my pet before and for so long. I am pleasantly surprised to see this store operational so quickly. I will become a fixture in the neighborhood of Marin City. Where the community is in a food oasis. The store has an abundant grocery section with many of the staples in the food pantry. The store is smaller than most but offers items in many departments from clothing to electronics. The store is bight and well organized. I was surprised to see the traditional restroom in the back of the store rather than the front of the store with community sinks. The store also has a Starbucks that accepts the app for payment. read more

Oh, happy day! We love the Target on Hwy 101 in Sausalito. Easy off freeway access, easier parking. Seems to be a petite store...not as deep as the SF Target on Geary - by a mile. What a great addition to a shopping center that has been improved dramatically! The store is very organized and clean like most Targets. I actually liked the fact that this store is a bit smaller than most. I got around to what I needed very quickly and could see different sections of the store easily. Employees here are very friendly, checkout was quick, parking is convenient and close to the entrance, and you get the benefit of the fresh sea air and the view that only Sausalito can provide. There is also a Starbucks inside with a sitting area that allows you to look at the marsh area and across the water towards Tiburon. The shopping center has new pavement, signs, landscaping, towers - the entrances are even lined with palm trees! Looks so much nicer. read more

Let me start by saying that I love Target! I frequent Target stores at least 2-3 times/wk since they all carry different items and I can't get everything at one location. I like the location of this Target the best. However, for being located outside of the city- their home goods department and children's clothing department is really lacking. City Target on Geary has a better home goods department and Target in San Rafael and Serramonte have far superior kids clothing departments. I wish this shopping center in Marin City would build up more business and that this Target would expand a bit to make certain departments more consumer friendly (kids, home goods). read more

To return the shopping cart is an easy, convenient task and one which we all recognize as the correct, appropriate thing to do. To return the shopping cart is objectively right. There are no situations other than dire emergencies in which a person is not able to return the cart. Simultaneously, it is not illegal to abandon your cart. Therefore the shopping cart presents itself as the apex example of weather a person will do what's right, without being forced to do it. No one will fine you, or punish you for not returning the cart. You gain nothing by returning the shopping cart. You must return the shopping cart out of the goodness of your heart. You must return the shopping cart because it's the right thing to do, because its correct. A person that is unable to do this is no better than an animal, an absolute savage who can only be made to do what's right by threatening them with a law and the force that stands behind it. The shopping cart is what determines weather a person is a good or bad member of society. Keep that in mind the next time you're in their parking lot. 5 stars for having to pick up all those carts everyday. read more

I'm downgrading by one star from my previous review. While I appreciate the convenience of this mega-store and its plethora of offerings (clothes; home appliances; food/beverages; etc.), the employees (if you can locate anyone) seems a bit off their game. Keep in mind, this is a very large store. And yet, they seem severely understaffed. When I came in the other day, the cashier was still in training, so he needed someone else to assist him with refunding some customer's purchase. This resulted in a huge back-up in our line. And there were only two cashiers ringing folks up. And then a customer accidentally dropped her six-pack of coca cola and glass shattered everywhere on the floor. It took like 10 minutes for anyone to come and clean up the mess. Finally, I went to their in-house Starbuck's to order an espresso. There was only one customer ahead of me and just one barista working. And for some reason, it took me over 10 minutes to get my beverage. Lastly, the food options aren't really that enticing at the store. Also, I didn't really see any deals to be had in the booze department. In fact, I could probably find better deals at Safeway or another supermarket. All in all, I'm glad we have a Target in the area. It's still a good spot to purchase things like towels, pots & pans, t-shirts, and some other goods. But I do hope that they hire more folks to work the floor. read more
