Our 14-year-old unit was…read morelow/leaking Freon, and rather than Band-Aid it, I figured it was a good idea to replace it now instead of waiting for a summer emergency. Kelvin was very helpful and patient in answering all of my questions and laying out options from good, better, and best. Ultimately, we selected something in the Lennox Elite line. I did a fair bit of research, and it seems the Lennox products are some of the most reliable and they pair their brand with good installers. Our install date was set for about a week out from when we selected our system. We also qualified for 12 months 0% financing which I appreciated. Amanda was very helpful on the phone to get us setup with our financing options--they have a bunch of different ones. Communication was great in advance of our install date, too; they called the day before to confirm. I also wanted to upgrade both of our thermostats because we had basic, non-programmable ones that worked off mercury. Our new setup is digital, programmable, and accessible over WiFi through an app on my phone. This was an important feature for me, and I'm appreciative we found a way to make it work. The crew showed up shortly after 8 a.m. and was finished by 11! It was all-hands-on-deck when we had four trucks here at once. The guys were all courteous and friendly. They did a thorough, neat job, and didn't cut any corners. They added things like float switches and access points to clean the drain lines. Our thermostats are neatly installed, and they took time to show me how to work them. All the old equipment was hauled away; they initially forgot a piece that had been set aside in our attic, but they came right back to take it away. Now it's only February, and it's only been a few hours, but the new system certainly looks nicer outside and was noticeably quieter during the testing time we had it running. I hope to squeeze a little more life out of our downstairs system, but I won't hesitate to call Oak Grove H&AC when it's time.

Since Monday September 15 (Monday) we had no AC and our houses temperature reached a ridiculous temperature of 89. I called Patrick Taylor from Taylor AC and I told him about my issues. I told him I was just looking for estimates and if he does them for free which he replied YES. He said he could be out there and look at what I had. I received his estimate that night and told him that I would like his assistance in getting me a new AC. On Wednesday the equipment was dropped of at his company and he said he will be here today to install it (Thursday). I was super pleased because I thought it was going to be another week but it was the next day. His team got here and went right to work. They were incredible and fast and efficient on getting us comfortable again. After a couple of hours we noticed our temperature dropping from 89 to about 80 and could feel the difference. What I liked most about the company that if they didn't like or how it looked they went back and fixed it. They were very picky on how they were making my AC look. I highly recommend this company for anyone who has AC issues. I could ramble on but he and his team have no idea of how I feel about them and their work.
