This is the best restaurant in BH in my humble opinion. It has been around for years and it maintains the same high standards. They specialize in soufflés and have a page in the menu dedicated to them. We ordered the Swiss gruyère, a filet mignon and a cod. All so well executed and delicious. They have a small selection of wines by the glass and a large selection by bottle. We had 3 different wines by the glass and you could tell the selection was carefully curated. The dessert menu included a couple sweet soufflés. We got the banana with chocolate. The place has a romantic ambiance. A lot of attention and love goes into all details. 5 stars for service, especially without a reservation. 4.5 stars for food quality with adherence to this being a French restaurant, albeit in Brazil. 5 stars for ambience. If you're looking for an extensive wine menu coupled with delicious food, look no further than Taste-Vin. In addition, the service quality from their hostess to their bartender to their Chef is excellent, but don't expect anyone but the Chef or the hostess to speak English. The food quality is good yet it lacks French flavor. Ironically, it might just lack salt which as any American might know of Brazil, their food is typically very salty. Nonetheless, the filet mignon, their famous souffles, and the profiteroles were delicious but did not capture the flavor I was expecting to taste. I had the French onion soup and that looked the part but was a few shades shy of the flavor I was anticipating. Despite this restaurant being considered the BEST in Lourdes, if not BH, the atmosphere is very "New York" and not pretentious. The customers are upscale but not over dressed. Small little charming restaurant, in downtown area! Friendly service and marvelous gourmet food! Try the soufflés and the Tuna with Gorgonzola mashed! Spicy as it has to be! Good wine list as well! I'd say it is a little bit pricy and could achieve more clientele if this matter was taken care of. Anyway, a good experience! I'd definitely would come back!! read more

One of the top restaurants in town. They are specialized in French food and their star dishes are the souffles, delicious! They have some options of souffles that you can choose from and they are all perfectly made, very puffed as it should be. They have an extensive wine menu that will go really well with your dish.
