I used to love coming to this place for bagels, they still have the best bagels in town. But the last few times the bagels haven't been that great. I noticed they hired a new lady, and I always seem to get her whenever I come in. She barely puts any cream cheese on the bagel, and they're either burnt to a crisp or barely toasted. I didn't have a donut, but had a plain bagel with cream cheese instead. It was very good! The bagel was lightly toasted, slightly crisp on the outside, and very soft and chewy on the inside. I will be going back for more. One thing I didn't like was all the tables were dirty and in need of a wipe down. This place is definitely my favorite bagel place in la verne. I'm not a big fan of doughnuts so o can't base them off the doughnuts, but their bagels are always delicious. On top of great food and great customer service, the staff are all extremely friendly and remember you after you have gone in a couple times and are very welcoming. Stopped by here on Mother's Day to get a dozen donuts. The selection was a little slim they had run out of a few of our favorites but what we got was delicious! Very friendly, very clean, $10 minimum to use ur debit card or else u get charged .75 which is annoying. But it was a good spot. They have bagels to which looked delicious. read more

I don't exactly know where La Verne is, but luckily I don't have to. The best of La Verne is delivered fresh to my office every Friday morning courtesy of one of my coworkers. It is always a mystery whether this week's assorted dozen will contain my favorite donut of all time (a buttermilk thing that despite my best googling, I cannot find the name of; it's like an old-fashioned, but even better and shaped like a squarish rectangle). When my favorite-buttermilk-thing isn't there, I muster my courage and eat one of the other delicious varieties, such as a glazed old-fashioned or a festive sprinkle donut. However, when someone dares to bring donuts from somewhere other than Tastee's, I usually don't even have a donut, and I almost certainly have a less than satisfactory Friday. read more

Well I go alot here with my mom and sometimes they close very early even though there closing time says 2 pm. Went today and it was closed, wasn't even 1 yet. The bagels are good but their customer service isn't good . If it says 2 pm closing time not 1 or whenever they feel like . They should close at 2 not 1. read more

I have been coming here for over 15 years. They have the best bagels around! They are light and not too dense. Get there early cause they do run out. The donuts are great too, but the best is #4 bagel sandwich, double toasted on whatever bagel you prefer. Can't beat the price for the combo which comes with chips and a drink.
