My friend and I stopped here briefly after a concert in the area. It was busy, so we ordered take out. There is a separate area specifically for to go orders around the side of the building. When we arrived to get our food ( after ordering online- you get a text when the food is ready) it was very crowded in the small waiting area. We went to let the woman working behind the counter, know that we were there to pick up our food. She was extremely rude. The food was delicious, and I have to give a special shout-out to their cheese sauce...so good! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a side of cheese sauce, and everything hit the spot. They had a spicy ketchup on the table that added a nice kick. I'm a little bummed I didn't notice the fry seasoning on the table until after we finished eating. My bad! Rookie mistake! Fenway is an absolute gem for affordable "gourmet fast food" that tastes fantastic in Boston, and I'm proud to say Tasty Burger adheres to that standard nicely. This was my first time trying it, and I was very pleased with the results! I kept it classic and ordered the "Big Tasty" burger which came with the LTO trio and special sauce. It was cooked perfectly (well done as I requested) but was still juicy. The patty itself was very tasty, and I really enjoyed the sauce. The fries were also a big seller for me, but I wish the portion was bigger. I could've easily downed two of these. The bottle of water was also quite small (not picture) which surprised me. Taste wise though? Tasty's got it down. The service was a bit on the slower side because of the Sox game down the road, but we were able to get our food in about 20 minutes for takeout. It was also very hot (if I had to guess ~85°) in the takeout section of the store, which isn't great for customers but made me more concerned for employees. No one should be working in those conditions, and I hope there's AC in the kitchen. read more

While near Fenway Park, I spotted Tasty Burger about 1/2 block away from the ballpark. Inside it's a counter service restaurant that has a separate entrance for to go orders. I ordered the Big Tasty burger and made it a combo for $12.75 and I chose onion rings as my side. The meal was ready quickly. The burger had a 1/3 lb. beef patty and was dressed with lettuce, tomato and cheese. It was a delicious and filling burger. The onion rings are more like onion straws but I still liked them and thought they tasted very good. This was a very good burger meal that was also quite affordable. My go to is the spicy jalapeño double with onion strings and a drink combo. Now i must say, the cheerswine is yummy. The raspberry lime Ricky imo was terrible get the cheerswine bottle instead. Smoothies; I'm a strawberry type guy but it can be a bit too sweet depending on the mood. Burger cooked to medium has always been spot on in recent visits. It must have been the spirit of Fenway Park because I unexpectedly ordered a chili cheese dog & bacon cheeseburger from here lol but I'm glad I did. The quality of the beef hot dog was one of the best I've had. The chili & cheese were a lovely consistency because let's be honest, chili can get weird easily. I ordered the chili on the side just in case but ended up dumping the entire container on my hot dog. My burger was well seasoned & the quality of beef was great. I ordered at the to-go counter and didn't wait long but there's seating available on the dine-in side. The to-go area is casual but a decent size which is helpful during cold weather. The combo is a great deal, $4.25 extra (added to any sandwich/burger price) for sides like tatertots, onion rings, fries, or a salad, with your choice of beverage. I highly recommend trying Cheerwine if you enjoy shirley temples. So good!! We also tried their lime rickey but it was too tart. I believe there was too much lime juice. We ordered two of them, hoping the first one was a mistake but the second one was just as tart unfortunately. I typically only come here for late night eats & service is slowish but honestly can't complain because not many places are open till 2am, especially on Sundays. One of the owners left a number of shirts hanging at the entrance to their tasty burger emporium. Some would say that they were trying to sell these shirts in order to afford more spicy ketchup. Others would argue that they were simply air drying their laundry at a height that no reasonably sized human could reach. You can put me in the latter camp AKA Camp Rock! Did they swindle me into buying a small side of fries with a combination of Southern charm, Christmas spirit, and a hint of razzle dazzle? Yes. Did they do so with any sort of decorum or regard for humanity? That's not for me to say but no. There was an animal head on the wall but I'm forgetting what the significance of that was.
