The color was different from the picture in the menu, but was still yummy without being sickeningly sweet. Service is a bit slow despite the restaurant not being crowded, but the restaurant must have been understaffed in the summer/low season. We ordered large BBQ chicken and parmesan truffle pizzas, and while they looked delicious, it tasted like the chef had skimped on ingredients and toppings. The parmesan truffle pizza was bland and average at best, but I recommend getting the BBQ chicken pizza! It's not as good as American pizza but it was the best dish at Peppe's. tl;dr: Overall would give this place a 3.5/5 rating for nice service and atmosphere, but mediocre food. They still let us run out of water.
