The taste was good but dannnnggg this stuff needed salt or soy sauce in a desperate way. I actually couldn't even eat it. My boyfriend had the same issue. They were such flavorless dishes. Once we got home, we dumped insane amounts of soy sauce on the stuff and it was pretty decent at this point. It hit the spot just like we needed. I am giving this three stars despite extreme disappointment because had their been some soy sauce in the bag, it would have solved the problem right away.
