Not only was it overpriced($250 for two 2x2 tattoos) but after the first tattoo was done, I was asked to give more tip money in order to receive my other tattoo (had already tipped plus the original amount). The other tattoo came out unfinished (we only spent 15 minutes on it) and my friend's tattoos were beyond misplaced. Came back another day to see what was up and try to get some things fixed. No help, only attitude. There are plenty of other places with talented people who actually want to help you/will give you what you asked for. This shop is not that place. They just told me they would walk me through the aftercare process. I have several tattoos from this artist and it was very unfair because of one person that I was denied to retouch. Her opinion will hurt her business & her coworkers. I worked in the Beauty business for nearly 30 years. This is not how any client should be treated.

I did some research on Rowan and I liked what I saw. I like that the piercers are nurses and I also like that you have the choice of getting your piercing with a device or with a needle. Personally, I am a pro needle person so this was the perfect place to bring my son. Rowan is near the Pandora store at The Summit. I was able to make an appointment online and when we arrived to Rowan, we were seen pretty quickly. There were quite a few walk-ins after us so I do suggest making an appointment. The nurse that pierced my son did a phenomenal job of explaining everything that she was doing and talking him through it so he wouldn't be nervous. Everything was sterile and so clean. This is exactly the type of experience that I would want for my child getting his ear pierced. The options they had for jewelry were quality, which is important with new piercings. Some might feel like the pricing is kind of high if you're comparing it to places like Claire's or Walmart. I think the pricing is on par with what you're getting. I'm actually considering coming back here for myself to get a couple new helix piercings. If your child want an ear piercing or even if you want one, I you should check out Rowan.
