This little shop in Scarborough is known for their hot sauce and jerk chicken sandwiches. So I was in the area and decided to give it a try. I ordered over the phone for a quicker pick up and the lady recommended the "super deluxe" sandwiches: with a spicy beef patty, coco bread, cheese, jerk chicken and all the fixin's. Even though we all have big appetites, this sandwich was too heavy for us to finish. And a few bites in, I wished I got the regular jerk sandwich instead. The jerk chicken was decent flavor wise but a bit on the dry side. The hot sauce and patty gave it a nice flavor and kick. And the coco bread was soft and slightly sweet. However what stood out the most was the service. Because I was picking up, I didn't think it was necessary to tip and the cashier noticed and made a snarky comment after I paid. She tossed the drink at me which rolled off the table before I caught it. She literally could have set it on the table... And when the food was ready she tossed the bag at me too and just walked away as if there was someone else she had to service (the shop was empty). In times like this most businesses are grateful with any kind of support, but it seems like they couldn't care less about their customers. read more

Stopped by because we wanted to try some a new hot sauce -- Left with delicious food! The jerk chicken sandwich was amazing! They did not skimp on the meat. It was stacked! The chicken was flavorful and we really liked the sauce. We grabbed some patties also and they were warmed and flakey! The food was incredibly filling and the sandwich was huge.9 We went with the pineapple hot sauce and it was just the right amount of spicy and sweet :) We'll have to come back for the other flavors. What was also really outstanding was the service. We didn't catch his name, but the man who helped us was incredibly friendly and answered whatever questions we had. My friend told me about this place. We were moving my boyfriend out of his East York apartment and it was time for a break. This establishment is literally DOWN THE STREET. It is so crazy that he has lived here for a while and never knew about this hidden gem. Not only do they sell hot sauce but they have different patties available as well as an AMAZING Jerk Sandwich. For this sandwich I would travel all the way there to get it. So much flavour, with the hit of the great hot sauce for an amazing price. Becareful! When school is finished for the day he is SUPER BUSY and the patties run out quick. 20 minutes and he can have some fresh ones for you. Patty and coco bread of course is a go to for me as well. This is a perfect example of a hidden gem in Toronto. I drive by here every day and have never thought twice about it until a friend of mine told me I had to check it out. I gotta say the experience is just as good as the food. There was a lineup when I got there as they only allow two people in at a time (covid). I got inside and was greeted by a big smile and one of the friendliest guys I've ever met. I could tell he was flustered because he was so busy (and on his own) but regardless he was super nice and was genuinely interested in having a chat with me while taking my order. I appreciate that kind of stuff a lot. Especially at a time like this it's nice to hear a friendly voice. Now the food: There isn't anything bad I can say about the food here. Their menu is really just different variations of jerk chicken sandwiches but it's really all they need to offer because they've perfected it. The super deluxe sandwich is what I ordered (and have been ordering regularly now). It's a standard coco bread patty sandwich with jerk chicken but they've mastered every ingredient so well that it comes together better than I've had so far. The specialty is their hot sauce which is a family recipe that the owner makes with his mother. It's good, just the right amount of spicy but with LOTS of flavour. You can tell they know what they're doing. I love this place and love going back; I can support a local business and get amazing food, and do business with good people. it's a win/win/win. read more

When I arrived on a busy Saturday at lunch it was so busy I had to wait a good 30 minutes to get a sandwich annnnnd it was AMAZING. I would hve waited 30 days if I had to. Tata and his mother and very pleasant. We grabbed a bunch of their world famous hot sauce and it has quickly become out favourite hot sauce of all time. We eat it daily on everything eggs,sandwich,pizza,pasta,chicken, cereal. Its just so delightful and delicious. My only complaint is that its not closer to downtown and not open late enough for little old me :) read more

I got Tata's hottest sauce and wow flavourful and spicy. But for real this place is a lot more than that. I got the super deluxe sandwich, jerk sandwich, and a single spicy pattie. This place is tooooooo heat. Tata himself is already a vibe but man the food slaps. It was kind of reminiscent of Allwyns which is one of my favourite spots in ends. But the way Tata does the jerk feels like it's a shawarma ting cause the chicken stays juicy, no dry pieces. I rate this place heavy and can't wait to go back read more

Ah-Maz-Ing! Bought a couple of their homemade hot sauces and my husband said they are packed full of flavour. I'm not one for spicy so I am not one to judge. We ordered their patty sandwich and can I say, wow! This was stuffed to the nines, packed full of flavour and was shared between myself and my husband with a small Callaloo vegetable soup. It is not too close to where we live but a 15 minute drive is well worth going to this place to get a patty sandwich and soup. Top shelf hot sauce, incredible jerk chicken sandwiches, reliably good soups, patties are just ok. Staff are always really pleasant. Call ahead as it can sometimes be quite backed up and with limited space and staff you could wait a bit. Very much worth it though. Street parking is generally not too difficult, but there is no seating on site or really anywhere nearby either, so plan to take it home or eat on the street. read more

If I could give more stars I would. I have never written a review in my life. I felt so compelled by my experience that I had to write one. The food is absolutely amazing and I suggest everyone go there. But what is even more amazing than the food (which is almost impossible) is the experience. These are the kindest and most sincere people I have come across. The vibes are lovely. This establish is blessed with love. The super deluxe sandwich I got the last two times is heavenly.
