Nice space that gives off NYC vibes. I met friends for lunch and all enjoyed their selections. I had the red lentil soup and farro bowl and both were great. I also got the fig soda. It was sweeter than I wanted but ok. My bill came to $30 so it's a bit pricey. It is very busy during lunch period especially with Deloitte and Sanofi offices there. Parking: the garage to the right is not a public garage. It's for employees. There is a garage opening off of Spring street with maybe 20 public spots. We have only had good experiences at Tatte! We're familiar with the area, so we know that parking can be tricky. Service has always been efficient for us. A nice and airy place close to the train station. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors which is great for Morristown. The restrooms are shared with The Morris Proper. The line was around the corner with the host letting in a few people at a time. As you walk in, the bakery bar is in front where you can place your order. You can seat yourself wherever. The food was fresh - we got the lamb hash which was delicious. The traditional shakshuka was made well and served with soft and toasted bread. The coffee was good but disappointing. They both came out cold with the thick flavors settled on the bottom. No spoon was given to stir the coffee so we could mix things in. We purchased additional baked goods to go. Jerusalem bagel, pistachio croissant, lemon cake, almond croissant and the kouign Amann. The Kouign Amann was a cross between a croissant and brioche with a slight hint of sugar - pretty good. My friend and I had relaxed afternoon chat here. The cafe is an impressive grand space but still felt cozy. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. My Moroccan mint tea was good and my friend enjoyed her cappuccino. We couldn't resist the baked sweet treats and the upside down orange cake caught our eye. Came here in the late afternoon. It was pretty busy at 1:30pm with long lines but we didn't end up going to the counter until 2pm and all the lines were gone. The space itself is beautiful. A great place to work or hang out. The fig jam, prosciutto, and brie sandwich was really good, I liked my baby kale and spinach salad with chicken. I really loved my black sesame seed latte with oat milk. Parking is complimentary if you enter the garage from the side which is helpful to know as street parking is challenging in that area and metered. The only thing I might suggest is adding baby changing tables in the bathroom as my friend struggled with that. But otherwise the space is big enough for a stroller and easy to get around if you have a child. Overall a nice spot and would come back again. read more

The lamb hash 5/5 - if you've never had lamb, get it - if you've had lamb and hated it, give it a try - if you love lamb, get it! This dish was delicious and tasted the same as when we had it at the location in DC! I usually don't like lamb but the flavor combo here was and is bomb. The fig mint soda had too much fig syrup. I'm already thinking of when to come back. The sausage in the breakfast Sammy, you can tell it was packed with flavors as well. I absolutely loved the tahini pumpkin oat milk latte-- I mean it's fall everywhere else now right? Might as well let the taste buds enjoy it. Went to Tatte's, and the place looks really nice. The ambiance is open and spacious, with plenty of tables available. There's no table service -- you place your order, and they bring it to your table. Overall, the experience was okay. Since they just opened, I think they need a couple of months to sharpen their service. Our drinks arrived cold, but only after we followed up about them. The food was okay as well, though a bit cold. The server also brought the wrong order at first and had to redo it after realizing it was delivered to another table. The place has potential -- it just needs a little more time. read more

Very spacious area for big crowd of guests. The interior design is also eye-pleasing. Food tastes great! Some of the staff just don't have the customer service attitude for a cafe but most of them are good so it makes up for it. Parking space are at the back or where signages are. The prices are very high for what you get. I tried 2 of the pastries and they were just ok. The filling on a pistachio croissant was just a little wet goo, with no real flavor or body. And a cherry-pistachio pasty was hard and not very impressive. read more

Good food, plenty of seating. It is a walk up order your food sit down with a number and wait at your table place. Had a good lunch vibe going on for a weekday visit, parking a bit cumbersome but that's Morristown in general best to park across the street in the Dunkin Donut parking lot. Sat in the back there were quite a few fruit flies which no one seemed to be addressing but I suppose that could occur any place. Hopefully by my next visit they will be gone. read more

The barista was super helpful in my bathroom search and definitely more approachable. I got the turkey blt on gf bread without the relish and it was delicious. Tatte offered me such a beautiful environment today. This place is HUGE! Cute/cozy vibes. Come here to study, a date, a sweet treat, anything. Baked goods are a step up from Panera lots of seating indoors and out, but the outdoor seating is on a very busy street so it is extremely noisy. There is no street parking anywhere near by, must use the parking garage which is 3 dollars an hour and annoying since you have to log in online. We were going to eat outside, but it was so noisy. We moved in and even with our number on our table they forgot to bring my friend latte so it just kind of sat there in the barista area. Not really warm or inviting. Prices are on par. read more

We had this in the DC area and we have fallen in love. We were so happy that there's one in Jersey. Parking in Morristown is challenging but they do have a tiny parking lot and atlddtional parking around the corner. The baked goods are superb, the food is made of the finest ingredients, tastety but not heavy. The drinks are pretty and good. The decor is nice and there's outdoor seatings. Service is great thoiugh I think they are short staffed. And parking is a little confusing. If the lot is full you need to drive out and around the building for additional parking which is limited. Minor things but it's definitely worth it. You'll surely enjoy this cafe. read more

The person who took my order was distracted and asked the same question multiple times. Maybe he was learning. If we move past that, the coffee isn't anything great. It's hard to beat Lokl and Rey Sol in town. I did enjoy my mango ginger refresher, but I needed to ask for extra ice. They barely put any ice. It will melt in 5 seconds. Also, very small annoyance but there is no signage for the bathrooms. You need to ask. Additionally, they did not deliver our espresso to the table. They give you a number placard and we assumed someone would bring it to the table. We walked over to the counter and found it sitting there. Just seems very disorganized and not well run. Friend & I decided to try this new place today for lunch after reading about its opening on FB. First of all, it's got lots of tables inside & out. Very pleasant indoors but chose to sit outside with the beautiful weather. Quite busy during the lunch hour but the line went fast. Menu had lots of good choices for breakfast & lunch. Also lots of coffee options. Desserts & breads all looked great. We both had their new salad & I had iced latte. You place your order, sit & your lunch is served to your table if you choose to dine in. There was a little snafu with our salads but after speaking with the manager, all was made right. I've been about 4 times now. First time for baked goods and take out the other times to sit with friends. Each time the coffee was barely warm. The oatmeal was good the first time but the last time is was cold and undercooked. There was still water in the bowl. While it's nice to sit and chat without being interrupted, for over an hour not one person came by to remove our dishes. I noticed other tables were barely cleaned nor the floor was swept after little children dropped crumbs all around. The baked goods are made at another location so not as fresh as I would like. As others have noted, there is parking across the street. They have about 8 spots behind them but difficult to navigate. the few spring street spaces are inconvenient. Great for the offices nearby but for me, not worth the hassle of getting there for a cold mug of coffee. At least during winter. Summer time the patio is nice and a cold coffee is expected. This bakery is a disaster. The management clearly has no idea what they're doing, and it shows in every detail. Service is slow, disorganized, and careless--Morristown has plenty of bakeries with far better staff and leadership. The pastries are mediocre at best, my latte wasn't even hot, and the whole system is a joke: food, pastries, and drinks all come from different areas, so nothing arrives on time or together. And no waitstaff - It's chaotic, frustrating, and not worth the money. I overheard staff talking and pastries Are not even made there. They get them delivered so nothing is actually made on premises. Unless they completely overhaul management and staff, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This place had a lot of time to hire good management and they dropped the ball. The space looks nice, but once the novelty wears off, what they're really offering is mediocre food, cold coffee, and poor service. read more

I am loving this place. The coffee is first rate, the food that I've had so far, the Shakshuka, is pretty darn good and that comes from someone who has made it quite a few times at home. The people are very nice, lots of smiles, and the place is spacious, clean, and well designed. My one and only complaint is the music. It's not the selection, it's the volume. I was there yesterday and the volume was really pumped up. Kind of made it a little difficult to talk with my fellow diners. I am sitting here right now and I'm trying to read my book and the music is really pumping. Believe me, I love loud music, but not in this environment. If they could just turn it down a few decibels, that's all I would need. I hope Tatte stays here for a long, long time. Morristown needed a place like this. read more

Disgusting food. I ordered the hot pumpkin latte, it took them 35 minutes to bring it, by the time that they brought it was cold, who knows how long was just sitting there. Food took almost 45-50 minutes to come out, I ordered the eggs with bacon and latkes platter, the eggs were iced cold as if they were made and put in the fridge, bacon tasted like bad meat, and whatever herbs or nuts were in the latkes was very badly combined, flavors did not complimenteach other, it was just nasty. My friend got the French toast, it looked so beautiful and we're like at least that looks good, when we both tried it it tasted like expired cheese. It was so bad I had to spit it out. The table that we were sitting at had direct view of the window where they put the food out and both me and my friend saw a lady which we assume was the manager, rearrange the food already placed on the plates with her BARE HANDS. No gloves on or anything. Just touching everyone's food with her hands. All we were able to eat was the sourdough toast. When we asked for a little bit more toast cause nothing else was eatable, they gave us attitude. We asked for a baby high chair for my friends toddler when we got in, my fiend was holding the toddler in her arms to keep her entertained while we waited for 50 minutes for terrible food and was gonna put the toddler on the chair when the food was out so she could eat, one of the waitresses came to take the chair cause we weren't using it "at the moment ", turns out they only had 2 high chairs for the whole place and a bunch of people were complaining about it. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not go there, it is not worth the money or time. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. read more
