The front desk staff are not the friendliest, they're usually too busy talking amongst themselves or to their friends, but honestly since it's mostly a self service gym, if you're after that sort of attention you'd be better off at a more boutique type gym. Ditch the dingy, gross "other" 24/7 gym up the road and go purple. Insert you favourite fitness inspiration quote here!

There are tons of different walls, a bouldering room and a bunch of tunnels for cave training. The place was nothing short of amazing. The tunnels were particularly cool - 12 total ranging from easy to hard. The whole vibe is the place was really cool - laid back, with some folks who obviously knew what they were doing. They've got a bar that serves espresso, beer, wine and some snacks. It looks like they do pizzas on Fridays as well. They may have the next use of space that we've ever seen as well. Everything is compact, efficient and just plain cool. Pricing was great and by the end, the kids were tired and we were caffeinated! If we make it back, we'll be back!

You could do far worse than indoor rock climbing, that's doe sure. The staff are really helpful, considerate and will Help the kiddos get sorted. There's hard, easy and everything inbetween for challenges; there's even tunnels if the kids have fear of tight spaces. There's some basic food items and drinks, they're what you'd expect from a place like this that has food in case you're hungry. I don't knock them too much for iffy coffee- you wouldn't go here JUST for the coffee. A nice place to just hang around!

The instructors at the Les Mill CXwork and Body Balance are great. Especially I like Michelle and Nicole. They take care of the participants by correcting individual moves and poses... Of course, I did NOT imply other instructors of the Les Mill classes are not great. Yoga and Pilates are good classes as well if you want slow movements and low intensity training. In general, I have been enjoying every moment attending the classes here. These classes really help me feel healthier and better concentration afterward.

This appears to be the primary park in the area as it takes up a whole city block. My first visit to this park was on the first days of winter in Australia. As such, there were indications of this as there were colored leaves on the ground. Though it was cold, there was still plenty of green trees around. The trees here were mostly pine, though I did see one palm tree as well. This is a great place to take a stroll as there are long walkways around the park. It is also a good place to lounge as there are a number of benches to sit on. If you work in the area, this seems like a good spot to enjoy a lunch break at when it is warm out. If you are looking for a park in the Hobart CBD to get some fresh air and sun, I would recommend St David's Park.

It's such a huge space that I've never yet felt like I was encroaching on anyone else's space. Grab a bite to eat (maybe some fish and chips from the pier?) and enjoy a lazy summer evening in a picturesque corner of town.
