Also, my boyfriend had to stay all the way up front and was not allowed to sit with me/comfort me/keep me company. Music was blasting which I didn't mind but, the placement of the lil speaker producing a major sound when trying to communicate with the NICEST Receptionist was a bit much at times. Receptionist props- with a cute lil simple fit check with the platform Converse on was very welcoming and continued to be nice with even being asked the same questions repeatedly from customers...--- I appreciate you! Folks have to use their common sense with this: -Leave attitudes and rudeness at home -BRING YOUR ID AND YOUR PARENTS. -Patience is definitely key; If you in a rush plan accordingly or don't come. An appointment would BEST FOR YOU!! - Bring CASH!!!!! -The shop is NOT a babysitter nor other customers.. - Customers check out the designs PRIOR to coming but, to the stop put bigger numbers on these sheets to clearly mark what tat is what. -I appreciate the receptionist making "your up next phone calls to individuals" that were on the waiting list that allow for folks to get stuff done in the area and not staying around the shop. -Before a flash sale stock up on paper towels in the bathroom as I asked 2 employees after using the restroom "Did they have any paper towels" and they said "No" at that time it was a RED FLAG but, I wiped with toilet paper and keep moving (I wonder what everyone else did behind me because it was only noon?). - There was a artist Nike fit back last artists before going into back room and artist with grey FYP hoodie on that offered chairs to standing customers which was a major plus to some customers. My violin is a handmade instrument by a friend of the family. He only made 7 violins and only 2 worked. It has imperfections and isn't the greatest violin, but it's special to me. When it was time for my tattoo, Kathy had my plan ready to go. (She is so organized!) we chatted a bit as she determined how I wanted it on my arm. I wanted to verify it a few times. And she was patient as I rotated it and such. Her inking on my arm was not nearly as painful as the previous time I got ink done! This was totally tolerable. Some artists drill in with a heavy hand. And Kathy is not one of them. I have been planning this tattoo and figuring it out for 3 years. I don't put ink on me unless I am completely certain. I just moved to this area and I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a skilled ink artist to do my dream tattoo! She and I chatted happily about things we have in common and the time flew by. The tragus was maybe a 3/10 and the other two were about the same (the third, lower helix, was about a 4/10 as I had already done two piercings on the same ear). Not just an appointment place fee, I paid for the whole thing, the jewelry and piercing cost. The piercing itself was fine. Clean single use needles and it wasn't exceptionally painful or anything. I have two things to critique: 1) my own experience: I do not like needles. It's hypocritical I know but alas I have 12 piercings. I have gotten pierced at 4 different studios and have visited 2 other studios for piercing change outs and check ins/ trouble shooting. I have always been treated very well even if I was scared of the needles, except here. The piercer was rude to me about me being scared of needles and just made my appointment extremely uncomfortable with her comments. 2) I had a friend who got pierced here and she was thinking about down sizing her piercing bc she had gotten it pierced a while ago and when I looked at her ear I realized she got pierced with a standard size piercing length. Which to be fair I am not a piercer, but usually me and all of my friends have been pierced with longer piercings in case of swelling and her ear was not swollen at all and the front and back of the piercing was flush with her skin. If her ear would have swelled at all it would have been very painful bc of how tight it is.
