My father passed away and his widow was distraught didn't know what to do. one day after he passed she contacted this law firm as a referral from a lawyer of my fathers Mr. Hoffman continued to contact her many phone calls transpired he never provided information about his fee and how he was going to handle the case finally it was discovered that we were co-successor trustees and we met one month after the passing of my father To make a long story short it was his recommendation that we take a trust that was a legal trust and bring it before a judge, he recommend this because if we did that then he would make hundreds of thousands of dollars fortunately we realized in short order that that would be a grave error on our part so after one month we decided to cut ties we went to another lawyer who said there was no reason to take this before a judge there was no reason to spend large sums of money to settle the estate. It was this firms intent to take advantage of a grieving widow and to get as much money as possible regardless of the ethics associated I strongly recommend to beware of this firm if it is someone who is unfamiliar with the process is settling an estate or is emotionally distraught from the loss of a loved one and has a little experience with money.
