When I started I was given one amount and out the blue a few months later my payment all but doubled, when I questioned why I couldn't get any straight answers. He basically told me that it went up because of the amount of money I make. I asked him how many years would I be paying that amount he said 5, I told him that if I paid that amount I would be paying them almost 30,000 more then my actual debt, he still could not give me a straight answer as to why or how. The legal assistant who don't care about nothing and gets smart and have a nasty attitude when all you want is answers begin to tell me that what they have and what the trustees office have are different which sounded like BS. The trustees office had one amount she called herself trying to justify the BS and gave me a totally different amount. I gave up rights to a car I co signed on and the whole time of him trying to justify the higher amount he kept trying to make the car my problem because he didn't have answers. If I had to do this again it will be a no for me, I dont know what I need to do but I do know this aint right, I think it's a scam honestly. To add insult to injury so to this day none of my bills have started to be paid off all the money I've paid his payment is the only one bring made. The only reason I haven't dropped the whole bankruptcy is because my car is part of it and I'm scared they will come get considering the note aint been paid since I filed. This has got to be a crime.
