The customer service was good, and the breakfast was very nice (big buffet breakfast in two different locations in the hotel, one where you can enjoy breakfast outside). Our room was quite nice, comfortable, with a good view. This probably goes without saying, but having a car in Visby is a pain! We had one because we had driven to Visby from Fårö and needed our car for some attractions and a dinner outside town. The website said we could find parking information by clicking a link, but it didn't work. When we popped in to ask about parking, no one was there, so we found parking on Google Maps. It was nearby and quite affordable (at least by US parking standards), but I wish there had been better communication about where guests who have a car can park. Still, it was a nice hotel, with a nice bar for drinks and a very good breakfast.

When it came to finding a hotel in Visby, pretty much everything was already booked except this…read morelittle guest house on Adelgatan. It's very well located for sure. Well, first, it's a guest house so take for granted that nothing is included. When I say nothing, I mean that sheets for the bed and towels for the shower are not included. But you can pay extra to have them. Breakfast happens in the hotel next door, and is not included either, but there is a kitchen and a fridge and everything you need to cook in your building. There's an ICA 5 minutes down the street where you can buy food. Note that there is no salt and pepper in the kitchen, and that could be nice to have though. The rooms are ok. They are bunk beds. The bed aren't too comfortable if you're a heavy guy like me, I could feel the metal bar under the mattress. The curtains are VERY thin and you'll be awaken as soon as the sun shows up, which can be around 4 AM in Visby. The showers are available to everyone. There were a couple bottles of shampoo probably left there by previous visitors, but don't count on it. We had neighbors in another room that came in the middle of the night, completely drunk, doing a lot of noise and talking very loud. We had to go in the corridor to remind them they aren't alone in the place. Not very pleasant. The kind of thing that wouldn't happen in a hotel. So it's ok. Not perfect. It's a guesthouse. But to visit Visby, I would have slept anywhere, it's so nice!

Visby Logi is a small hostel located at the Island of Gotland at Visby. This hostel was nice. The…read morehostel itself wasn't too clean but was good enough for a one night stay since it was way off the map. The bathroom was all stone which was interesting but the shower had hot water and was clean. There was only complimentary tea and not coffee which wasn't a big deal. There was also no hostel attendant which we could deal with.

My boyfriend and I legit biked 25 miles from our house that we were staying at to go to this restaurant. You read that right, round trip we biked 50 miles for these tacos. The tacos are delicious, just like home, everything is fresh and spiced perfectly. The guacamole is chunky and real and zesty and the margaritas are sweet and salty. We chatted with the owner and she was lovely and had such an interesting story. We will be staying on this side of the island if we get back to Gotland!

Even in my small room, there was a fan, a hair dryer, a wide range of toiletries, a shoe horn, etc etc. The design is nice as well, with exposed timber supports cutting through the walls and ceilings, and slanted sun windows on the top floor. Top-notch breakfast downstairs with everything you could imagine. Tack to the lovely staff, who even sung me a happy birthday upon arrival!
