Dave Taylor, owner of Taylor and Son Construction has done numerous projects at my place. He's innovative, creative, honest, and hardworking. See photos I've posted showing some of his work. He built this shop, a bridge, steps with a rock wall and planter, an old fashion campfire ring, and a deck near my pond. He's moved dirt, cleared trees, and brush, redone my driveway and built a pad for a RV. On every project he's given me an estimate and always comes in at that price. And best of all, when I call and leave a message, he returns my call and then he shows up! I'm always so happy to have Dave here working on a project. Was recently going through Sandpoint/Sagle for a vacation and needed someone to help out with some welding/repair work. On a hunch I reached out to Taylor & Son Construction as I drove by his road sign on Dufort Road. This gentleman was absolutely amazing. He helped get me back up and running using his shop. I asked him a bit about his equipment operation. He showed me the work he had done on his own 20 acres, such as snowplowing, road grading and winterizing, prepping a house pad, digging irrigation and other underground, setting up an incredible pole barn, building a prefabricated shop to work in and a long list of other things. I would not hesitate for a moment to hire this man. His work was of the highest quality and you could really see his passion and excitement for what he does. Dave Taylor - owner of Taylor & Son Construction is now considered my family's "Go To Guy" when we need anything done around our property. We purchased a foreclosed home on 5acres that is absolutely beautiful but the land and drainage needed a lot of help. My husband and I have picked away at it for over two years now never quite having the money or time to really fix all of the problems- mostly because it needed a major overhaul and my husband works out of town. So being the wife and feeling overwhelmed, helpless and mostly frustrated with all the drainage problems; and the fact that my front yard was literally a field full of dirt mounds, weeds and boulders. I continually looked at the land as an eye sore and waited for my husband to have enough time to get it all done. I saw Dave's sign and called to see what my options were and to get an idea of the cost. Dave came out to the property promptly and spoke with me about what my best options were in handling my "list" :) ....my long LIST:). Now many women know what I'm talking about when I say he was polite, straight to the point and very professional- even the "little annoying concerns and demands" that I had that my husband usually rolls his eyes at and gets frustrated with were not even a concern to Dave. Dave Taylor is old school- he's reliable, hard working and great at his job. He works fast, and leaves everything looking amazing. His number one goal is making the customer happy. So far Dave has overhauled and fixed our yard, fixed all the drainage problems around our house so the water doesn't drain into the house anymore, made our pond amazing, put in my orchard, removed tons of rock, and put in our propane line to the house. I am so happy with how well our property is looking now. It's been such a frustration for so many years. Now I can drive my riding lawn mover over the whole property!! Whenever I need help with something and my husband is gone it's nice to know that I can call Dave and he can help-he can even plow out my driveway too, nice to know living in North Idaho. . . . I'm so glad I made that call. Now my husband and I laugh about the whole process and joke about being able to play golf in our front yard. Another thing that I absolutely love is every time I talk to Dave about my ever growing list; he has another tool or gadget to make it easier on my family and I. In the end hiring Dave has lifted a huge weight off my husbands and I's shoulders.
