Seasoned steak bowl with orzo veggie salad and sumac sauce.
    Patrick T.

One of our go to Chanhassen establishments for take-out. If you enjoy Mediterranean food, you'll love this place. Bowls include choice of rice, protein, accompaniments, and sauces for the main and for your side, the choice of seasoned French fries or cold orzo & veggie salad with balsamic dressing. For an upgrade you can do a build your own side salad. My favorite is saffron rice, spicy chicken, cukes, tomatoes, feta, hummus, and extra pickled red cabbage with sumac sauce. Staff is both friendly and efficient. Try it you'll like it.

I would really like to shake the hand of the folks that put this store together. The food is top notch. Nothing is spared to make your experience absolutely perfect. Wonderful flavors with fresh ingredients. A must experience.

Traveling and first time here. The guys working this afternoon were so kind and fast. They explained the ordering process to us. I got a bowl and hubby got a wrap. We both went with the falafel. The seating is very cute inside but we chose to eat outside. Shaded from the building and very clean. We would eat here again in a heartbeat!

Chicken skewer wrap with fries (pro tip: get the cucumber dill and chipotle sauce together)

We stumbled upon this neighborhood gem and fell in love! It's a fast-casual Mediterranean spot with a simple menu that is somehow insanely delicious! We'd never been so we asked the guy behind the counter what he'd recommend. I opted for the chicken skewer wrap. Fresh veggies on top and then the cucumber dill + chipotle sauce per the recommendation of the employee. It also came with a side, I chose fries and their seasoned sour cream. That wrap was *chefs kiss*. It hit the spot, tasted so fresh, great flavors, I loved it! And the fries were well seasoned and that perfect hot/cold vibe thanks to the sour cream! We also tried the lamb plate, and while I personally don't eat lamb, my husband inhaled it and proceeded to declare it as his new favorite thing! Do with that what you will! Just a great spot to grab a bite, whether taking it to go or sitting for a moment!

Fire Grill lamb koobideh with salad

I can't remember the last time I had Mediterranean food - Greek or otherwise - so this place intrigued me. Now having ordered no fewer than three times, I can vouch for its deliciousity! I like the fire grilled bowl and salad, especially with lamb koobideh and almost ALL the toppings on my spring greens salad. And by all I mean cucumbers, feta, blue cheese, diced tomatoes, kalamata olives, marinated tomatoes, roasted artichoke, banana peppers, sunflower seeds, roasted peppers, and lemon tahini dressing, by far my favorite. The balsamic and sesame dressings are also quite good. The koobideh or skewer of your choice comes on rice (I prefer basmati or saffron) and sauce and more toppings. The cucumber dill sauce with cucumbers and tomatoes does it for me. The meat is tender and tasty and I always - always - scrape my plate. My first outing I tried the Dolma, grape leaves stuffed with a creamy rice that I just didn't care for; the texture was not to my liking. You might love it, however! The roasted red pepper hummus was very good, with thick pita chips and a portion that lasted me for days! Do yourself a favor and skip the scrumptious-looking desserts. They are commercially-prepared, prepackaged and you'd be better off with a slice of Entemann's.

    chicken kabob wrap

Their seasoned sour cream is d e l i c i o u s ! I'm not usually a fan but they've perfected the recipe!! I ordered a chicken kabob wrap. They have a bowl or wrap to pick from and either fries or a salad as the side. I went fries but almost wish I did the salad as they have so many toppings and dressings to pick. Next time! They have a few different rice and sauce options, too. I did cilantro lime rice with the chipotle sauce. I added cucumbers, tomatoes, and cilantro. It was so tasty! It was a lot of food so I had half as leftovers. I reheated it in the oven and somehow it was even better!! I can't wait to go back and try a different meat in my wrap and get a salad as a side!

    Steak skewer wrap

Have stopped by this place a couple times for lunch when I am in the area. Great portion sizes and love that it is a fast casual vibe. The fries are delicious, but this time around got a salad and so happy I did. Have 5 different dressing and fresh ingredients a much get! The steak wrap is a big portion size but found meat dry. I have tried chicken as well and sometimes has been dry and thus why knocking down a star. They also advertise side salad goes with wrap or bowl but then charge $2 extra which is confusing

I go here quite often because I love the food so much! It's all very fresh and tastes amazing! The seasoning that they put on the fries is delicious

We enjoyed a quick dinner here. Healthier options than fast food. Grilled chicken kabobs were great and toppings galore! Will come again.

We dined in at Tavern 4&5 with a large group to celebrate a birthday. Reservations were made in advance and our table got seated quickly upon arrival. Similar to any tavern, the dining in experience is laid back and casual. You do not need to be dressed up by any measure to eat here. The menu is robust and I had a difficult time choosing as every item sounded great. A few members in our party had been here before and recommended the Thai chicken lettuce wraps off the appetizer menu and they did not disappoint. It was very fresh and I could tell it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. For my main entree, I got the Chicken Yum Yum which is a bowl with fried chicken, ginger soy sauce, coconut fried rice, mushrooms, edamame, egg, green onions, sesame seeds and yum yum sauce. It was nice to be able to find an Oriental meal at a tavern. Our service was excellent for having such a large party and I felt as if the prices were reasonable. Looking ahead, I can't wait to return as there's so many other great items that I hope to try including the sweet chili cauliflower appetizer, tator tots and harvest apple salad. Thank you, Tavern 4&5!!

Ordered the chili lime shrimp salad. Comes with 6 pieces of grilled shrimp on top of greens, avocado, tortilla strips. Overall great salad but we noticed the portion size is smaller. Also tried the grilled chicken grain bowl. Comes with grilled chicken, steamed green beans, greens, and quinoa. Dressing is a sweet plum sauce. It was decent but pricey at $23. The star of our lunch was the key lime dessert. More like a deconstructed pie but huge and so good! Restaurant was busy, service was mediocre, bathroom is clean. Large shared parking lot

If you want to come here even relatively close to peak hours, I would highly recommend a reservation. My personal favorites here include the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and the Minute Chicken. I've gotten both items multiple times and they are consistently great. Do yourself a favor and get the Dessert Flight; the portions are more than fair for the price and the Banana Cream Pie is to die for. We recently did brunch at Hazelwood for the first time. The Monkey Bread is a generous size with a crispy outside and gooey center - exactly how you would want it to be. The Smoked Gouda Hash browns are worth getting on the side with any item that doesn't already include them; they are so creamy and have a rich cheesy flavor with a nice crispy top layer. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the Avocado Toast. The bacon bits, lettuce, and poached egg completely overwhelm the avocado, which is virtually nonexistent. It's served on a very small and boring piece of wheat toast.
